Taste is fine, not hygenic place, restrooms aren't accessible and clean. Needs to be cleaned. Service was on time

    Foot long kebab with naan

It's amazing how much nostalgia a foot long can spark in someone. My family used to frequent here when I was a kid and continue to do so. I have a fond attachment to the place. My favourite part was watching the naan come out fresh from the tandoor. The long beef kebab is deliciously flavourful, but isn't spicy, which makes it great for kids. It comes with warm, soft naan and a bit of salad. You also get sauces on the side. The red sauce is amazing. It's got a sweet but tangy kick to it and I dip everything on my plate in it! Their vegetarian dishes at the counter are good, but not my favourite. It isn't luxurious by any means but it's affordable and good for big families.

Family restaurant type. Price for meat thali is $9/serving. Filling for girls. Reasonable price. Service is quite not bad. Service tray is a bit dirty. Chicken curry is spicy for a low-average Asian like me. Still handle it. The dark green lentils curry is kinda plain. Channa curry is okay. Chicken is the most tasty on my plate. Curries kinda too oily-ish. Think again it you are on diet. Over all with price this place is an okay option.

The atmosphere is nice but still casual, with dim lighting and trendy decor. It's a smaller place but comfortable. We thought all the curries were excellent, strong flavors and good portions. The interior is nothing short of opulent: rich earthy tones, elegant dark green accents, and warm ambient lighting conspire to create a dining room that feels both regal and inviting, a space where one might genuinely dine as royalty. The kitchen demonstrates real command of Indian cuisine. Flavours arrive bold, layered, and unapologetically intense -- each dish speaking with the confidence of a well-rehearsed tradition. The breads, in particular, deserve special mention: naan emerges from the tandoor piping hot, beautifully blistered with charred grill marks, and with a texture that is at once pillowy and satisfyingly crisp. One could make a meal of the bread alone and leave content. Where the experience falters slightly is in pacing. A midweek lunch -- the dining room far from full -- still saw dishes arrive at a leisurely tempo more suited to a languid evening affair than a working professional's lunch hour. For a restaurant of this calibre, tightening the rhythm of service during daytime covers would elevate the experience considerably. That said, the wait is not without reward. What emerges from the kitchen is genuinely exceptional -- the sort of cooking that lingers in memory. Urban Maharajas is a destination that honours its namesake: lavish, flavourful, and fit for royalty. One simply hopes the court learns to keep pace with its guests.
