Did a delivery order and was definitely pleased with my picks. The carnitas was perfectly cooked and seasoned the way I like. The chicken was still moist and tasty. They followed all the requests made which was a big deal for me. Needless to say I will be trying them again

Sooo I'm a die hard Chandos fan! I was so happy to hear they re-opened some of the locations. However I'm a bit disappointed in the taste of the food. It was ok but not the best like it used to be. Looked the same, fresh ingredients but for some reason it's lacking flavor. I'm pretty sad about that! The carnitas burrito and chicken mulita were disappointing but the carne aside taco was better even though a piece of the meat wasn't fully cooked and the Horchata is still my fav. I probably would not go out of my way to come back.

This is the OG Chando's location, it used to be one of my favorite spots. Their carne asada was top-tier. Since they've expanded to new locations, I feel the quality has dipped a bit. It's still good, just not quite as tender or flavorful as it used to be. Today, I had the carne asada burrito, and my wife got the carne asada tacos. I still enjoyed it, but I'm still a bit nostalgic for that OG taste. Service is good, they have friendly staff. Just a heads-up for those who haven't been there before, you order outside at the window. On hot days, if there's a line, it can be a bit rough. Luckily, there was no line when I went today. There is parking in the front and in the back. They also have a shaded patio in the back if you want to eat there.

    Burrito

Ordered a Cali burrito 14.13$ no add ons. This is the burrito I got. Almost like just half the burrito, super small. Size of a taco bell burrito. I told the workers the burrito is small for a 14$ burrito they said thats the large. The burrito was mediocre 6/10, sauce was salty, my lips were burning from the salt. Asada was tender and chewy not consistent though. And im still hungry ‍ Compare it to the receipt.

Overrated. No parking, the tables were dirty and the service was mediocre. Al pastor quesadilla: 2/5, what you'd expect at a Taco Bell. The meat was extremely dry and the tortilla was really small. We asked for sauce and they said it cost extra, which is fine but we couldn't pay for it since they didn't accept less than $5 on credit card. They should have asked when we ordered.

This is the first time I've been to a restaurant that served complimentary chicharrones de harina. Chicharrones de harina are a Mexican snack that are made from fried wheat flour. Service was good as the workers were friendly and polite. They were short staffed so service was slower than if they were properly staffed. It was surprisingly busy around 2pm on a weekday.

As a self-proclaimed salsa critic, I can confidently say this wasn't the usual watery, flavorless salsa that shows up at so many restaurants. This one actually had flavor AND a kick to it. One bite and I knew I was going to enjoy my meal. Then came the music. Whoever was in charge of the playlist deserves a raise because the 90s R&B was absolutely on point. Every song had me singing along between bites. Nothing like enjoying good food while being serenaded by the soundtrack of my youth. I ordered the asada and al pastor tacos, and both were delicious, flavorful, and cooked just right. I also asked for grilled jalapeños because they make everything better, and they definitely took the tacos to the next level. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations. He made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Great food, great music, great service, and a great way to celebrate a graduation. I'll definitely be back--and honestly, I'd come back for the salsa and playlist alone!

We totally forgot with everything we have going on that day that it was dine downtown. The menu looked good, but I was already set on getting pozole so we didn't order off the dine downtown menu. Plus, we've also been here plenty of times and love it already. We were really bummed to find out that you get charged for chips and salsa and they don't come out automatically without asking and it also the charge is dependent on how many people are in your party. Also, when the chips came out, there was only one salsa, which hasn't usually been the case. We're not sure if this was just some modifications because of dine downtown happening, but it was a bummer. We ordered the taquitos for an appetizer and those were OK..nothing special. I ordered the pozole verde with chicken, which is my favorite! And my best friend ordered the Carnitas plate. My posole was really good. It came with the side of the status and all the toppings. However, the Carnitas lacked flavor and were a bit dry. Neither of us would probably order that again. We also ordered a couple of blended mockaritas, one strawberry and one mango and both were tasty, but the strawberry would definitely needed another blend as there were a big chunks of ice. I think that because of the craziness with dine downtown..service and food quality we're a bit lacking, but I will always come back to Mayahuel for the pozole verde !

I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food!
