Such a yummy Greek food truck with delicious shawarma and tasty, crispy fries. My colleague and I were in the area and wanted something that would fill us up during a long, busy day. We saw that Mykonos Gyros was across the mall in the parking station, and the shawarma plates looked SO good we had to try. The menu is easy to read, and the truck easy to spot. I loved the falafel plate. The falafels were so fresh and tasty, not dry at all! My friend loved the chicken plate, and she got hers more spicy. They use crinkle-cut fries, and it also comes with such yummy rice. The side salad is also pretty nice, we love our veggies! I scarfed all of that down and it def kept me full the rest of my day. The man taking our orders was so nice and they popped out our orders so fast. Quick and efficient, you only have to wait ~5-8 mins for them to make your lunch. After approaching the truck, I was immediately greeted and my order was taken. There were a couple of people before me. I ordered a spicy lamb gyro and spicy lamb fries. Similar to the hair of the man who made my food. The middle eastern man with mid length hair. He was wearing a hat so I don't understand how the hair got into my rice and meat but it was there and it was disgusting. Service here was quick, it took around 10 minutes to get my food out and there were a few people ahead of me when I got to the truck. I ordered the mykono fries and was surprised at the large portion, but I'm not complaining. The food was fresh and the meat was nicely seasoned. SO glad since its a trip to get over there. We again got the Mykonos gyro and my wife got the chicken gyro. It was pretty quick just 5 minutes. We were a little disappointed this time. The meat seemed a bit dry. I know it's loaded with a lot of sauce and vegis but the chicken was definitely dry and over cooked. My lamb and beef was also a little dry. Looking through their varied Greek food menu, I decided to order the Mykonos Fries so I could try a bit of everything. The lamb and chicken was so tender, oh so deliciously flavorful, topped with Tzatziki and hot sauce to add a nice hint of spice to these loaded fries! And did I mention all of their meat is halal?!
