My husband and I tried this spot after work. We sat at the counter. The SERVICE: We were greeted right away walking in the door, the guys were so friendly and answered our questions about their menu. The FOOD: I ordered the Ceviche de pescado and they sliced up the fish and made it right in front me, asked my spice tolerance- I like it HOT! He left me the bottle of hot sauce! :3 My husband ordered a birria taco, fish taco, quesataco with birria, and regular beef street taco. Everything was so flavorful! This is quality food and everyone should give it a shot! The AMBIANCE: It was a little hot inside their restaurant, ac might have been out? Dining room was pretty packed full of jovial people singing along to the band! Just good vibes despite the heat but they have cold beer :) the quality food, and the friendly service is worth it alone. We will see you again El Tito!

The food was great, the lobby and dining area clean and the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back for more tacos and rice

El Tito's is an authentic Mexican restaurant with the best Birria Tacos I have ever eaten. What I liked so much about them is that the consume wasn't salty. The taste of beef was prominent without the extreme salt. Their tacos were hearty, they don't skimp on the beef. I was stuffed after two tacos. The quality was exceptional and the business is very clean. The gentleman who served was super nice, great customer service. He may have been part owner. I highly recommend El Tito on Arden Way. You won't be disappointed.

    Chicken Enmoladas

Food was way overpriced for what you get. Anytime I try a new Mexican restaurant, I get the same thing I always order: chicken mole. It's my staple. I can safely say this was the worst I've had. To start any cocktail on their menu is $15. Last time I saw prices that high was Vegas or the airport. After going through three beers (on their tap and menu) the bartender finally found one that wasn't. Want chips and salsa? Gotta order them as an appetizer. $$ Entree came out and I sent a photo of my $24 entree to my girlfriend. She asked if I was eating Mexican or Chinese. Her confusion is easily explained by the carrots in my rice and the sesame seeds on my chicken mole. The chicken tasted like it came from a can, only with some overcooked crunchy bits. There were slivers of onions inside, despite no indication of such on the menu. Speaking of menu, words were misspelled, whomever wrote the menu didn't use a space bar half the time, and it was as sticky as a movie theater floor. As someone that travels here every other week for work, I'll stick to Denny's for a more pleasant experience f I don't want to drive far from my hotel.

First time here and this is our new favorite Mexican spot. Came in early and no one was there which scared us a bit almost thought about leaving, but so happy we ended up staying. It's different from most Mexican spots out here. The food was delicious and the service was great! Will be back to try more of their food especially the seafood !

Best michelada! And sea food I had the best shrimp cocktail

Best michelada! Finding a good sea food place is hard! This place is hands down my favorite! The shrimp is clean, the location is fresh and clean. It's always the "small business" that has the best food. It's a little hole in the wall. Ppl complaining on here about how small the place is are just a bunch of nagging unhappy ppl. Or about how the bathroom is outside. It's a clean bathroom clean establishment. Great food, great taste, great service. This will be now My new spot for Sundays!

El Tito is brand new with about a month open but that does not mean they are new to the food industry. They've been making Mariscos for a while. The place is freshly remodeled. Don't let the small location fool you this place has HUGE taste. They have a big menu to suit your craving. The woman up front at the counter was super nice and they had a QR code to sign for a digital menu if you didn't want to look at the big screen. The menu ranges from birria, asada, menudo, mariscos and more. The first time I had it I tried their mariscos and had a little bit of everything. Everything was amazing including the salsas. I came back today and tried the "Birria Torta". That thing was. 20/10 it was bomb.com. It has melted/grilled cheese, birria, onion, and cilantro. It also is served with a side of consume, other places normally charge for a side of it. The torta is pretty big and I thought I wasn't going to finish it but it was so good I couldn't resist. It comes stuffed it hella birria. I had it with the orange salsa that brings all the flavors together. I even had the side of consume it felt like I had ordered a mini birria caldo. This is some of the best birria I've had in awhile and probably the best in Sacramento. To drink I had an agua de cebada which isn't to common up here. The place is Sinaloa style food so of course they had to carry it. If you've never heard of it try it you won't regret it.

    Camarones Zarandeados

Pulpo ala plancha was not ala plancha it was more butter poached lack of seasoning. Camarones good but overcooked. No water offered, no chips, no salsa or tostadas offered. The waitress just gave us two forks and napkins. Price was $78 for Camarones ala plancha, pulpo ala plancha 1 beer and 1 soda water. Also bathroom is outside the restaurant and it was clogged when we went. Overall not the best service they definitely need to work on offering a better experience specially if they want to accomplish a real Sinaloa style restaurant.

Shrimp taco middle, birria taco right, consume on the left.

The nachos contained tomato, onion, cilantro, guacamole, jalapenos, radishes, carne asada, and cheese under fresh tortilla chips. This is the first time I've been to a restaurant that served complimentary chicharrones de harina. Chicharrones de harina are a Mexican snack that are made from fried wheat flour. Service was good as the workers were friendly and polite. They were short staffed so service was slower than if they were properly staffed. It was surprisingly busy around 2pm on a weekday.

I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. Choice of beans: refried beans, black beans, or pinto beans. I suspect refried beans is the tastiest option. El Tapatio would be a great gathering place for friends and family. Plus, we've also been here plenty of times and love it already. We were really bummed to find out that you get charged for chips and salsa and they don't come out automatically without asking and it also the charge is dependent on how many people are in your party. Also, when the chips came out, there was only one salsa, which hasn't usually been the case. We're not sure if this was just some modifications because of dine downtown happening, but it was a bummer. We ordered the taquitos for an appetizer and those were OK..nothing special. I ordered the pozole verde with chicken, which is my favorite! And my best friend ordered the Carnitas plate. My posole was really good. It came with the side of the status and all the toppings. However, the Carnitas lacked flavor and were a bit dry. Neither of us would probably order that again. We also ordered a couple of blended mockaritas, one strawberry and one mango and both were tasty, but the strawberry would definitely needed another blend as there were a big chunks of ice. I think that because of the craziness with dine downtown..service and food quality we're a bit lacking, but I will always come back to Mayahuel for the pozole verde !

I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food!
