El Tito in Arden is a gem! The restaurant itself is pretty small inside (about 3-4 tables), and while there seems to be outdoor seating, the chairs outside were put up when I visited, so I'm not sure how that works. Parking is convenient -- a few spots right in front (5-6), and if you go a little further back behind the restaurant there's a full lot available. I came on a Saturday around 2 p.m. when only one big party was inside, so seating wasn't an issue. My friend and I sat indoors. I ordered a michelada with traditional aguachiles, which came with 3 packs of saltines and 2 tostadas on the side. My friend had 2 quesabirria tacos with consomé, limes, a side sauce, and an horchata. The food was outstanding! The aguachiles here are served in a red sauce (instead of the green I usually see), and the shrimp were beautifully butterflied -- the presentation was gorgeous, and the flavor was to die for. The michelada was a very generous size, holding the entire beer with no need for the can on the side. My friend loved the quesabirrias, and everything was super fresh. Service was quick, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back! read more

The food is great. We were a party of 4, had shrimp ceviche, beef burrito, shrimp enchiladas, Carne Asada ... Along with a couple of beers & sodas for the dd's. Everything was fantastic. BUT I have to give a special shout out for the Flan.... I usually do not like flan... But I really, really liked this one. They make it in house. My husband and I tried this spot after work. We sat at the counter. The SERVICE: We were greeted right away walking in the door, the guys were so friendly and answered our questions about their menu. The FOOD: I ordered the Ceviche de pescado and they sliced up the fish and made it right in front me, asked my spice tolerance- I like it HOT! He left me the bottle of hot sauce! :3 My husband ordered a birria taco, fish taco, quesataco with birria, and regular beef street taco. Everything was so flavorful! This is quality food and everyone should give it a shot! The AMBIANCE: It was a little hot inside their restaurant, ac might have been out? Dining room was pretty packed full of jovial people singing along to the band! El Tito's is an authentic Mexican restaurant with the best Birria Tacos I have ever eaten. What I liked so much about them is that the consume wasn't salty. The taste of beef was prominent without the extreme salt. Their tacos were hearty, they don't skimp on the beef. I was stuffed after two tacos. The quality was exceptional and the business is very clean. The gentleman who served was super nice, great customer service. He may have been part owner. I highly recommend El Tito on Arden Way. Food was way overpriced for what you get. Anytime I try a new Mexican restaurant, I get the same thing I always order: chicken mole. It's my staple. I can safely say this was the worst I've had. To start any cocktail on their menu is $15. Last time I saw prices that high was Vegas or the airport. After going through three beers (on their tap and menu) the bartender finally found one that wasn't. Want chips and salsa? Gotta order them as an appetizer. $$ Entree came out and I sent a photo of my $24 entree to my girlfriend. She asked if I was eating Mexican or Chinese. Her confusion is easily explained by the carrots in my rice and the sesame seeds on my chicken mole. The chicken tasted like it came from a can, only with some overcooked crunchy bits. There were slivers of onions inside, despite no indication of such on the menu. Speaking of menu, words were misspelled, whomever wrote the menu didn't use a space bar half the time, and it was as sticky as a movie theater floor. As someone that travels here every other week for work, I'll stick to Denny's for a more pleasant experience f I don't want to drive far from my hotel. read more

Best michelada! Finding a good sea food place is hard! This place is hands down my favorite! The shrimp is clean, the location is fresh and clean. It's always the "small business" that has the best food. It's a little hole in the wall. Ppl complaining on here about how small the place is are just a bunch of nagging unhappy ppl. El Tito is brand new with about a month open but that does not mean they are new to the food industry. They've been making Mariscos for a while. The place is freshly remodeled. Don't let the small location fool you this place has HUGE taste. They have a big menu to suit your craving. The woman up front at the counter was super nice and they had a QR code to sign for a digital menu if you didn't want to look at the big screen. The menu ranges from birria, asada, menudo, mariscos and more. The first time I had it I tried their mariscos and had a little bit of everything. Everything was amazing including the salsas. I came back today and tried the "Birria Torta". That thing was. 20/10 it was bomb.com. It has melted/grilled cheese, birria, onion, and cilantro. It also is served with a side of consume, other places normally charge for a side of it. The torta is pretty big and I thought I wasn't going to finish it but it was so good I couldn't resist. It comes stuffed it hella birria. I had it with the orange salsa that brings all the flavors together. I even had the side of consume it felt like I had ordered a mini birria caldo. This is some of the best birria I've had in awhile and probably the best in Sacramento. To drink I had an agua de cebada which isn't to common up here. The place is Sinaloa style food so of course they had to carry it. If you've never heard of it try it you won't regret it. read more

Tito's has the BEST ceviche I've ever had in Sacramento--no joke! The first bite took me straight back to the beaches of México: Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, and Cancún. It was fresh, zesty, and packed with flavor. Total beach vibes! The coctel de mariscos was super satisfying, loaded with plenty of seafood--shrimp, octopus, everything--and OMG the scallops were amazing. Pulpo ala plancha was not ala plancha it was more butter poached lack of seasoning. Camarones good but overcooked. No water offered, no chips, no salsa or tostadas offered. The waitress just gave us two forks and napkins. Price was $78 for Camarones ala plancha, pulpo ala plancha 1 beer and 1 soda water. Also bathroom is outside the restaurant and it was clogged when we went. Overall not the best service they definitely need to work on offering a better experience specially if they want to accomplish a real Sinaloa style restaurant. read more

I was so excited about eating at this spot I seen on my fb feed. I drove over an hour just to have an authentic sinaloense meal! And I was terribly disappointed. I should of came to Yelp and read the reviews but I didn't went by the amazing vids they post on their social media. Waited a long time at the outside patio after they asked us to sit outside instead because it's tiny inside prob doesn't fit more than 10 people legally. We went outside having to go completely around and to the back parking lot area. Then I realized we were there alone with a not lit grill. That was a problem since what I wanted to try was grilled food on the menu. Now the menu it was pretty mediocre didn't represent the food I saw on their social media videos. Anyhow back to us moving to the back patio, waited and waited and waited so we left. Very clean and well kept. Visited the RR and it was very clean. We ordered La campechana and Camarones Sarandeados. Both were quite flavorful, freshly cooked. Agua de Jamaica was 10/10, homemade taste. Customer Service was great, you can tell everyone is genuinely caring of their restaurant! Downfalls: no avocado in the campechana, you have to ask for some of the condiments and the butter rice lacked flavor. read more

Felt like the portions were small for the price and when I got my fajitas, there were no tortillas when I got home. I called back and advised I did not get the tortillas they told me to come back and get tortillas for free. I said well I already paid for them.
