Hector is the coolest, hands down--great energy, great personality, the kind of person who makes you want to come back. Oh and did I mention you can get pizza by the slice! The variety is mind blowing and they always have vegan options!!!!! I'm a thin-slice person. I need the right ratio of crust to sauce to toppings, and Zorch nails it every time. Plus, no flop! The cheese slice is a classic and was my favorite... until I discovered The Upside Down. Listen, when I bite into that slice, I literally close my eyes. I see a lot of people say it's greasy. For this one, grease me down baby. The flavor does everything it needs to do. Layered, bold, and honestly addictive. After that slice, I don't even want a regular one anymore. Next up on my list: The Grandma. And for context, I've had Angelo's in Philly. Respectfully? It doesn't compare. Sorry to all the other grandmothers out there lol. One note though-it's heavy on the garlic, so if that's not your thing, you might want to pivot. If it is your thing? Strap in. It's been a few years since I've been able to say I found a legit pizza spot in RVA. A spot that I bring others to often! I'm happy to say I've found my pizza home. Much love to the Zorch crew. We didn't want any hookah but it was offered. We later ordered a pizza as well later on. Our food was better than expected. The prawns were flavorful, the meatballs weren't warm enough but had some spice to it and were larger than expected. The Caesar salad had kale and red onion in it which was different. We enjoyed the food and the vibe on the lower level was better. The pizza could use more sauce and the cheese had a nice pull to it. The meat on the pizza didn't taste frozen at all. We had to ask for refills a few times, but the server did a good job considering she had at least 20 people to serve.Overall, better this time around.

This video footage should be reviewed, and appropriate disciplinary action should be taken against this wannabe manager. First of all, I have been a customer of this Marcos Pizza for many years now, and I have never had any issues with the employees or managers. However, the story changed on December 20, 2025. On this date, I was starving and had just returned from army training, considering I am a serviceman. I called Marcos Pizza at 6:38 pm, located at 2284 John Rolfe Parkway, Richmond, Virginia. The so-called manager on duty picked up the phone, and she told me to hold on. I waited for almost 10 minutes, but she did not return to talk to me. Since they were not able to take my order due to holding me for a longer time, I decided to place the order in person. When I arrived at the store, four employees were talking and laughing, but there were no customers present to place an order. I do not understand why holding the phone for this long was needed. I politely approached the person who identified herself as the manager and advised her that I had been on hold for a long time, and she admitted that she was the one who had placed me on hold. When I asked her if they were busy, considering there was no customer in person, she became irritated, her tone was high, and unprofessional. She told me, "I do not take your order, and you can leave." Instead of apologizing and taking my order, she clearly stated, 'I am not going to take your order.' I asked to speak to the manager, and she said, "I am the manager". WHAT? I was starving and had to wait on hold for a long time when there was no customer in the store. I spoke to her in a very professional manner and showed her my call logs, etc, but she first offended me with a loud tone and an unprofessional reaction to my question, and then told me she would not take my order. This is the worst manager I have ever dealt with. The video footage of her reaction to my question should be reviewed by the general manager or area manager. This person deserves disciplinary action. I am sure you can access the call logs or the numbers of all those that were placed on hold in your log. I am sure you can find the video footage of this so-called manager's reaction. Please review the number of employees present in the store between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, as well as the number of customers who were there between 6:30 pm and 6:40 pm. You will find many employees, but no customers. She might argue we have a lot of people who order for delivery, and we were working on that, but that is a false argument, as she was seen laughing, walking around, and not doing anything between this hour. Please check the video footage. As she said, if she were the manager of this location, she would be the worst manager at the location, has a bad temper, and is ready to confront customers who are there solely to order or get food. SMH

I would love to stop by again and order a pizza though. The pizzas seem popular because there were a lot of customers coming to pick up pizzas.
