The most disgusting food ever ordered. I have ordered from Primos for years and its pretty consistently good. We ordered fries in a bag so they don't get soggy, they were in a plastic container and actually so soggy they were stuck together in a clump. The mozz sticks were like doughy and stiff, could not even swallow them. Both fries and mozz tasted a like. The steak and cheese meat was dry and over cooked and greasy to the max. Even the lemon cake tasted strange...... I hope I don't get sick. I can not say one good thing about the food. I hope the Lays chips aren't expired. read more

Everything was absolutely and I Mean absolutely amazing. The restaurant was nice And clean! Staff was full of smiles, polite, and ready to help! Reading other reviews it makes me wonder! People complaining over the prices! Prices are reasonable especially in this economy. Everything including fast food is expensive. And for homemade pizza crust and pizza sauce it was reasonable! Not enough sauce? Ask for extra sauce! Not enough cheese. Ask for extra!!! You can customize your OWN pizza considering they are MADE TO ORDER! Complaining for 24 wings and a large pizza for delivery and it being 50 dollars? Not bad for 24 wings, a large pizza, taxes and a small 3 delivery fee!!! Surprised by the low reviews! We had a great experience with Primo Pizza. Ordered on the Slice app and picked up with 0 issues. The pizza was wonderful fresh and still hit the next day warmed up! As you can see they don't skimp on the toppings!! I didn't get a pic of the Caesar salad but it was also a step up from most pizza places- same with the fries. Would recommend :) read more

Pizza here is just okay. The biggest issue is consistency, sometimes it's really good, but other times it falls flat. I've had a couple good experiences, but just as many that weren't. Overall, it's hit or miss. read more

The pizza is not good. Bad cheese selection, red onions(for real?) too much cheese in the center and no sauce. It seems like it could be a good pizza but misses. Not to be confused with the Primo Pizza in Fredericksburg, they wouldn't do me like this. read more

Ordered 24 wings and one 14" primo pizza. These is the second time we have ordered in the last four months. The pizza was ok the onions and green peppers looked like they were put on after it came out the oven. The 24 wings were way overcooked. The prices that are on this app are wrong along with the price on the website. Our prices for the two items and delivery was over $50. I think we are going to check out other pizzerias. read more

Just had delivery, again. A sub. Asked that the onions were light. To my "delight" they were red onions. Fresh. I will take red onions any day over sautéd white onions. Sub was delicious. We also ordered desserts for later. All places have ups & downs & change owners. We have only experienced 1 or2 disappointments over the many years we have patronized Primo's. We have come here for many years and it's by far one if the best pizza places around! There really isn't another place it can be compared to, it's the closest to "authentic" pizza in the area. I love the fact they offer so many specials and coupons, they are actually worth returning back for. We tend to keep it simple and opt for pepperoni or the meat lovers, but really you can't go wrong with either. The overall aura of the place is really chill, younger crowd but everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is nestled in a rather busy shopping area with other restaurants so parking can be interesting but it's definitely worth it! read more

I have ordered from there since we moved into area by original owner and this is the 3rd owner.. delivery over hour late, food product like pizza you could pour grease off of. French fries taste like card board. gave several chances to change. tonight manager said nothing but sorry and didn't care to keep our business with years of ordering from them. sad times read more

New owners! The food and prices have changed. Which is ok, I guess, considering the world we live in now. But just wanted to let people know that they no longer have the delicious crinkle cut fries. And the Steak n cheese does not taste the same. Lacks good flavor and they don't toast the bread anymore. I love the pizza but I'm afraid to try it. That may have changed too! I don't wanna take a chance and end up not liking it and wasting money. After the new owners, I gave it another try and was disappointed. Again, it's ok. Maybe some customers may like the changes. I'm from the NYC/NJ area and so I know good pizza. This is some good pizza. They are friendly and very prompt. Delivery is always quick and the guys that deliver are all great. I order from here at least once a month and that's only cause I don't eat out as much. Best pizza in Mechanicsville for sure. read more

We love Primo's. The wings are awesome. The salads are yummy and The people are super friendly.

This is the place I always order pizza from now. They have really great pizza. I have had their meat lovers, white pizza, cheese, pepperoni. They have always been good. I have picked up and received delivery from this place. The dining room leaves a lot to be desired, it isn't much of a place to sit and eat at. The staff is a hit and miss if they are in a good mood or not but their food makes it worth it. They have descent subs too. For delivery I have only had a couple of issues out of the dozens of times I have ordered here. Once they forgot to bring my drink which they went back and got within 10 minutes and one time it took over an hour for the delivery which is not common. Overall I would recommend this place for good pizza. read more

My last review I had not tried the Pizza yet. I ordered a Primo Special on Mother's Day around 9:00 pm. * There will be No More Dominos or Pizza Hut pizzas ordered from us ever again. Primo is not greasy or buttery. The ingredients were fresh and hand sliced. They also will add a side of Mariana for dipping. I substituted 2 ingredients in place of 2 that I don't like. I really don't know how they can make a Pizza that BIG and that quality for $17.95. It also keeps very well for leftover heat up. Will not get hard as a brick in 3 days in Fridge. Horrible customer service, I can't even comment on the food because I never received it. I called and spoke to the manager on duty and he told me I would be refunded and given a credit on the purchase amount of my order. So the next day for lunch I decided to give them another shot. This time the manager on duty tells me there is no credit and he will not honor the other managers decision. Plain and simple, the worst customer service ever. Just stop by to get lunch. Got the lunch special steak and cheese sub with extra meat and cheese, with everything on there. Thank god I did because the regular meat without extra will be small. Also the sub taste very plain! It was nice and hot but it didn't taste like a real steak and cheese sub. Won't be coming back! There are way better steak and cheese sub out there. read more

Food wasn't bad, but attention to detail is poor. We ordered the "special" which included a 2 liter of Coke....needless to say we ate our dinner without any Coke. I didn't bother to call the store to allow them to correct the error, as I will likely not be using primo again. I have a ZT policy for such occurrences. This was my first time ordering here, from the reviews that I read, I believed that I would give it a chance for a delivery. My order was chicken Alfredo, small garden salad, and personal pepperoni pizza. They told me 45 minutes they where on time but food not so great. I started with salad, I had to chop up the lettuce and tomatoes because for me they were a little big. Then my pizza was very oily and the cheese was a little sour and left an after taste in my mouth. Now the Alfredo really disappoint me, the noodle is very mushy, the sauce was blend, very thick and again the cheese flavor leaves a bad taste afterwards. I thought that if maybe putting pepper and salt would fix the dish but nothing. Sorry but I wouldn't order here again from this place. If this pizzeria has been open since 2007, I would expect for the head chef to taste the food before it goes out but apparently he has lost his taste in food. read more

I have to say we are from NY, western NY the home of NY style thin crust tossed pies and buffalo wings and this was by far the best NY style pie and wings I have had in a long time. Traveling up from the south on vacation we missed our pizza and wings thought we would give this place a try and we were very pleased to say the least! Hand tossed, fresh mushrooms, big juice wings! And customer service was outstanding!! The girl on the phone realized we're were travelers staying in a hotel and offered us plates and napkins, etc without us even asking! They even delivered the order directly to our 5th floor room in under 30 minutes, for a Friday night at 6:00 that is unheard of in our home area we typically wait up to an hour. And price!! Don't get me started on price!! At least 20% less than at home in Western NY. I guess when you combine Southern hospitality and customer service with the culinary skills to do real NY pizza and wings you get a winner! read more
