Barely felt it and got it right away even when I have been told to be a hard stick. Some of the reason is western dental not submitting the referral forms to pitrowski. But the main reason is that I was told that since western dental told me they would send the referral that they would wait till western dental sent the referral then send it to the insurance. Let's just say that was 8 months ago. I'm so tired of getting their "pay us" forms that I did just pay the $195 consult fee. Jackie the billing person was sour towards me anytime I called and asked her about it. I called my insurance they never even recieved a claim for the consult to be paid, which she said she did, and so I'm done with them, paid them to get them off my back... receptionists and docs were amazing, kind, and helped me a ton. They were always sweet. I hate writing bad reviews, but dentists are a sore spot for me and Jackie not even submitting a claim for the consult, then not returning my calls has just gotten me so stressed that I won't use this office and won't recommend anyone else. The billing dept (only number on the bill) does not respond to repeated phone messages and never answers the phone. Whoever runs that dept should be fired. After 5 messages over the course of a week and a half, I finally gave up and called the SM office number - where I was helped immediately. As for the dental care, Dr. Pitrowski is great - even calls the evening of an implant/extraction to make sure the patient is ok. I do wonder why the implant time takes so long when other dental offices advertise short implant times. My husband and I have had 3 implants and all have been successful. I was able to work it out with my dental insurance, with no thanks to Dr. Kim's office. The dental hygienist was very good; the chairside assistant not very friendly.
