This is no longer a buffet, all entrées on the menu are very generous, hot, fresh, and delicious. This is a mom & pop operation that is quick to please every customer. Service is fast and friendly. I have tried several of their offerings and have never been disappointed. All meals are between $8.95 and $19.95), my favorite is their teriyaki chicken ($14.95), Helen's favorite is their vegetable chop suey ($11.95). Delicious!! I've had a variety of dishes & soups and everything including the cookies and tea have been delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked with the exception of the fried rice. Ordered it for the first time last night in place of plain rice. Even though I won't order it again, I have a feeling it was potentially a one off moment. Even with the one exception the restaurant still deserves a 5 star rating. I Always generously tip as it's only her and her husband working their butts off 15-16 hours a day, 6 days a week. They survived the pandemic by tirelessly serving the community. Drove 30 minutes to enjoy the buffet. When I got there with my family they said there was no buffet. Big waste of time, false advertising.

Still the best quality and value in town. A few things have changed since my last review. No longer have the marshmallow salad that I loved deeply. They only been carrying strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Don't have sushi that often anymore. They do have the crystal chicken(fried breaded chicken in a sweetened condensed milk glaze) rather then the honey chicken in the hot dishes. Also have other dishes that changes occasionally depending on what day you come. But still carry the same amount of food in the buffet. Can't review the lunch buffet. Been years since I've gone at that time. Take out is still great. So much food for little cost. Service is always friendly and quick to clear plates and refill drinks. Keep the dishes pretty well stocked. But just ask if you want something "freshened up". Yes they are cheaper then the place downtown. Have less option then them too. But the food a Ming's is so bland and your sitting on top of strangers their. They just want you in and out. Not welcoming. read more

Decent value, well prepared main dishes, limited variety compared to other chinese buffets in larger cities which makes sense as Beaver Dam is only 16,000. Staff is very nice and hospitable. Will continue to go back. read more

Best Chinese buffet at a bargain price that I've had in years. At first it seemed relatively small, but the selections were quite adequate and everything I tried was delicious. They had all the basic dishes, a couple of different dessert items, and a small freezer case of ice cream. Finished my meal with a generous scoop of butter pecan ice cream and a fortune cookie. Hmmmm what can be said.... it cost $9+ each adult on a Sunday evening. The food was cold in 7 out of 10 dishes tasted. Non flavorful dishes. The dishes were very low and some empty. I don't like to waste food but had to spit out in my napkins too many bites. I asked the woman that was clearing the tables as to why the food was cold and she just smiled as if she didn't understand me but then only to return a few minutes later with the same cold items again...to top it off, when I went to use the restrooms it was dirty. No soap and no paper towels. Yuck. Don't waste your hard earned money on a place that doesn't respect their customers. .. I wish I didn't have to give this place even one star but it wouldn't let me post without it!!! read more

Chang Jiang takeout is my guilty pleasure. I'm lucky it's such a bargain. Currently I'm eating a perfectly seasoned garlic broccoli that I had tofu added to. Went to do the buffet with my wife and found almost everything was very old and cold. Not many people there, but the food should not have been out there like that. We both took a few bites and decided to leave. I bet we were there 10 mins or less. I tried to haggle the price down because we didn't even eat. I was totally yelled at and they gave me no discount. I don't understand how anyone could give it a good rating. Been here twice, only reason I went a second time was to give it another chance because it had been a number of years since the first time. My boyfriend and I weren't there for more than 15 minutes. 95% of the food was cold, the majority of it had obviously been sitting out all day and was dried out. The crab rangoons were overdone. The chicken in the broccoli and chicken dish was mushy. Their pork fried rice was so dried out it couldn't finish the small amount I took and the "pork" in it looked like nothing more than fake bacon bits from a jar. My boyfriend who doesn't like most beef/chicken/pork dishes was very limited to their one seafood dish. The variety is very small. The bill for 2 buffets was over $20, I wouldn't have paid $5 based on the experience. We will continue to go to mings on the other side of town! read more

We ate a total of one plate maybe and he said he would give us 10 percent off. REALLY, 10 Percent! I asked for 50 percent and he heard 15. After arguing and me just saying fine to be done with it he had the guts to make a comment about us not leaving a tip. DO NOT EAT HERE !
