BHANUS in SGV is loved by me & locals!…read more By day, the menu is filled with so many Indian Food Fav combinations that you can try what you crave from all the different types curries, Briyani, tandoori chicken, appetizers, noodles and chutneys. After Dark, Bhanus Indian transforms its kitchen to Indian Fusion burritos, chipotle style bowls and adding more flavor and spices late night munchies like nuggets and fries. These flavors are exclusive on all the food apps from 9pm to Midnight, Thursday to Sunday ONLY! I learned eating a Tandoor Chicken Caesar burrito totally hits the spot around 10pm when all the kids are finally asleep and those spiced masala fries are soo good that ketchup is not required. Definitely worth checking out!

The naan was buttery and fresh, the curries were rich and delicious, and the samosas with all the different sauces were sooo good. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the food here The atmosphere also felt really warm and family-owned, which made the experience even better. Definitely such a fun spot if you want to try authentic Indian food or discover new snacks and ingredients!

From the delicious food to the wonderful customer service, New Flavor of India is the best. I love the music and decor of the place, too! I highly recommend the Chicken Pasanda (medium spicy) with a side of garlic naan!

Haven't been back here in ages, but all I can say is the food still hits…read more Came on a Saturday night with my brother and started with the samosas. Perfectly fried, not greasy at all, and the filling was packed with flavor. The real standout though was the trio of chutneys. The tangy tamarind, spicy chili, and fresh mint-cilantro all complemented the samosas so well. For entrees, we ordered the chicken vindaloo and saag, plus garlic naan (which is a must). The naan was perfect for scooping up all the sauce, and the pilaf rice that comes with the dishes soaked everything up nicely. The chicken vindaloo had great flavor with a solid spicy kick. The saag was a bit on the bland side, but still enjoyable and had a nice chunk of cheese in it. Service was great. The staff checked in on us and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The ambiance was quiet and made it easy to actually have a conversation, which I appreciated. Parking is free but shared with other spots, so it can get tight on busy nights or during lunch rush. Definitely planning to come back, especially to try their lunch buffet.

They immediately brought me menus. I ordered the Maderas Margarita and Tikka Shrimp Salad with an upgrade for the garlic naan off of their lunch special menu. They had really fun names for their cocktails. The Maderas Margarita was interesting. The taste of the jalapeno was bold, the way it should be for a spicy margarita. There was mashed mint and cilantro in it. The drink tasted more like a mojito than a margarita. Nonetheless, it was well presented with a jalapeno on the rim of the glass for decoration and the drink was very much enjoyable. The Tikka Shrimp Lunch Salad was full of flavor. There was grilled mushrooms, diced cucumbers, diced tomatoes, and mozzarella cubes in it. The grilled shrimp was deliciously grilled. The house dressing seem to be done your of Indian spices vinaigrette which was very interesting. I would say that the spice level on this was mild to medium. I enjoyed this dish. The garlic naan bread was served fresh. It was the perfect thickness where you can experience both the crispiness and the soft bread at the same time. The garlic flavor wasn't overpowering. It was nicely done. I would definitely return to try other items and perhaps their happy hour menu.

If you're not specifically looking for this place, you can easily pass this place by. If it wasn't for seeing a tic tok video on this place, I would still be driving by this place. So in describing this place, I would say it's like a small Panda Express, but for Indian food. Don't expect to see a steam table offering of orange chicken & egg rolls, but all of the most popular Indian cuisine, butter chicken, tiki masala, goat curry, numerous vegetarian dishes. There is also a menu to order ala carte, tandoori chicken, samosa, bryiaani rice dishes, and as well pain & garlic naan. The restaurant itself was small, with about 6 to 7 small tables, classic mom & pop restaurant. The Lady handling the front was super nice, friendly & helpful. The food itself was surprisingly amazing. We tried 3 different types of chicken curry, all tasty & moderately spicy, the tandoori chicken had great flavors, a little bit on the salty side, but paired nicely with the baasmalti rice. The tandoori chicken is cooked to order, so there is about a 15 to 20 minute wait, recommending to call and order ahead of time. We'll definitely be coming back for our Indian food cravings!
