Lunch menu is served 11:30-3p DAILY, which includes weekends :) Lunch menu prices are great which includes a main dish served with Aloo Mattar, Dal of the Day, basmati rice, naan & salad. If you want garlic naan is $1.00 extra. I had the LAMB MASALA LUNCH for 16.95 - it was a great deal! Definitely enough food for a second meal. Service was good -- server was friendly. The place was well ventilated and spacious and they had TVs along the north and south walls playing the World Cup games :) Restrooms: 2 gender neutral and spacious - clean Parking: the parking lot behind the restaurant is very small and typically packed. Maybe 4 spots at most. I'd recommend just finding parking along the street the restaurant is on. It was 2 hr free on weekends and not hard to find in front of the restaurant. One of my fav spots, but my first time getting the lunch special here which is a great deal! The Tikka Masala Lunch special gets get a while platter of the curry, rice, a side salad and 2 side dishes. I decided to stop by for lunch. The restaurant is bright and nicely decorated with Indian decor. I was immediately greeted by 2 staff members of the restaurant and was seated. They immediately brought me menus. I ordered the Maderas Margarita and Tikka Shrimp Salad with an upgrade for the garlic naan off of their lunch special menu. They had really fun names for their cocktails. The Maderas Margarita was interesting. The taste of the jalapeno was bold, the way it should be for a spicy margarita. There was mashed mint and cilantro in it. The drink tasted more like a mojito than a margarita. Nonetheless, it was well presented with a jalapeno on the rim of the glass for decoration and the drink was very much enjoyable. The Tikka Shrimp Lunch Salad was full of flavor. There was grilled mushrooms, diced cucumbers, diced tomatoes, and mozzarella cubes in it. The grilled shrimp was deliciously grilled. The house dressing seem to be done your of Indian spices vinaigrette which was very interesting. I would say that the spice level on this was mild to medium. I enjoyed this dish. The garlic naan bread was served fresh. It was the perfect thickness where you can experience both the crispiness and the soft bread at the same time. The garlic flavor wasn't overpowering. We came here with friends as we're British and have high expectations of Indian food. We've now been here a few times and I must say the quality of food is excellent and the service is a very good standard. The owner walks around and checks in on all the guests. The ambience is very relaxed and the experience is fantastic for a local restaurant. They have a location in Pasadena and another one in Glendale. I have been craving Indian food so I went onto Yelp to see what were some options around my area. To be honest there wasn't that many but this restaurant came up as one of the highest rated Indian restaurants in the area so I was really excited to give it a try. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and there was no line so we got seated right away. We got served menus and water and was able to place our order relatively quickly. We got their mango lassi pani puri shots garlic naan and their chicken tikka masala to share amongst two people. The pani puri shot was my favorite dish out of everything that we ordered. It was also my very first time trying this dish and it was so good. It was crispy and flavorful and the sauce gave it a burst of flavor all in one bite. I definitely recommend you ordering this dish if you ever visit this restaurant. Everything else was just OK. The mango lassi was thick and not that sweet. It was leaning more on that tangy side, which I personally do not like the garlic naan was not bad. It was fluffy and garlicky but I personally like my naan more on the dinner and crispier side. And then lastly, the chicken tikka masala was also just OK. It was definitely more on the saucy side and less on the chicken side and this dish does not come with the rice so you would have to order that separately. Came here for dinner and the place is just absolutely beautiful! I love the attention to detail in the decor. Service staff were friendly and attentive. One thing I didn't care for was the decor of the restaurant. It is very minor; it's simply personal taste. Another thing I didn't like was the parking situation for this place. The parking in back of the restaurant is very small and crowded. It is best not to park there. It's hard to get in and out of that back alley. Try to find parking on the nearby side streets. I can overlook these minor issues since I enjoyed the food and the service. We feel so welcomed and invited. They have table/chairs and booths, all clean, neat and comfortable. Love their interior design and decorations too. Seems like you actually dine in India. Another person came, could be the manager to check in with me and shared they have live music Friday night. My lunch finally came and the portion is great. They were pretty good. They came with a tamarin sauce and a green sauce that was a little spicy. They were in a cone shape rather than a normal triangle shape I was used to, but I really enjoyed it. We also got the Pani Puri shots. They were my favorite part of the meal. I really enjoyed pouring the liquid and getting to share that with my family. I ordered the lunch Lamb biryani. The lunch portion was a pretty big size and it came with. It also came with a side of yogurt sauce. it was very well flavored not spicy or too salty. We also got the Tandoori shrimp lunch. We ordered the Saag Paneer, Chicken Tiki Masala, Pani Puri Shots, and Shrimp Chaat. The restaurant seemed super casual and relaxed. Pani Puri Shots: These were amazing. Hollow puff balls that have potato inside and you fill them up w/ pani puri sauce. This was super good. Shrimp Chaat: The shrimp was perfectly grilled and the puffed rice was good. Gave a lot of puffed rice. Needed one more shrimp so the ratio would finish the shrimp and rice at the same time. Saag Paneer: The Saag Paneer was a bit thicker than I am used to. The plus to this is that the flavor of the paneer comes out more. The thicker consistency also makes it heavier when eating it with rice or naan. I wish it was just slightly less thick. Chicken Tiki Masala: This was a bit thinner than I am used to, but the chicken was tender and juicy. Unlike just dry chicken breast drenched in tiki masala, the chicken tasted like it was braised in since the chicken was very juicy and tender. Portion sizes are just so slightly smaller than a normal entree sizes, but due to how heavy Indian food is, the portions were perfect for party of two. I've been to All India Cafe in Pasadena. I love their foods and drinks! Most recently, they opened a new location in Arcadia. Thought I come here to support them, too. They are located on Huntington Drive. Street parking is available. There is also plenty of public parking on the north side of Huntington Blvd where Chengdu Restaurant resides. It's only a few minutes walk from there to here. I called to placed my dinner order. The lady I initially spoke with on the phone didn't appear to understand what I wanted to order. Another lady came on the phone to take my order. Anyway, I got the Chicken Tikka Masala with mild spice, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. Total bill was $30+. Upon arrival, the staff near the entrance greeted me nicely. Ambiance is lovely and romantic in a way. Love the beautiful and colorful wall art! Lots of inside seating. Strangely, it was during dinner time, but there was only one or two tables occupied. I was really surprised to see that. I hope they are doing okay. My order was already ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, the chicken was a little dry. The sauce did not taste the same as how they make it at their Pasadena location. It was denser and thicker. My daughters and I didn't care for it. I've always loved eating here (well, at the Old Town Pasadena location) and this was my first time eating at the Arcadia location. I got what I usually get: chicken tikka masala, garlic nan, palak pander, and tikka masala. You can't wrong. The QC across both locations is on point. I enjoyed everything here as much as I do at the OTP location. Food is great, location is clean and easily accessible. Only thing they could improve on is the customer service, a little. All India Cafe is the real deal! This review is based off the DineLA menu. The dinner menu is $35pp and comes with a vast selection of food options. The restaurant has street parking and about 7 spots in the back alley of the restaurant. The staff here are some of friendliest people from the moment you walk in. We were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant is very clean and has a beautiful mural with other aesthetics decor all over. The DineLA menu was delicious. We were able to try so much different appetizers and entrees and desserts. They also offered a glass of wine or beer on the DineLA menu too. The presentation of the food came out steadily. Drinks, then appetizers and entrees shortly after. My wife enjoyed the whole experience. I personally ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with the Nirvana Tofu. The tastes of the curries were so yummy. I cosign for those selections if you're interested. Delicious! We got takeout without ordering ahead and it was ready within 5 minutes. The butter chicken was very flavorful and the garlic naan was nice and fluffy. Wasn't priced too badly either.
