Da Vien has jumped to the top of my coffee spots list! Their drinks run on the sweeter side, so I order 30% sweetness and it's absolutely perfect. The matcha and ube foam are my favorite to add to the Vietnamese coffee -- a real energy boost and so yummy. If you're caffeine-sensitive like me, they also have lower-caffeine options so everyone can enjoy. The staff at this location are always really welcoming and friendly! Parking here is okay, the plaza is a bit small but you can get in and out pretty fast!

A friend recommended we check out Da Vien Coffee, and I'm so glad we did. The place was busy when we arrived, and the smell of fresh coffee and sweet drinks throughout the shop was absolutely delicious. They had so many interesting and unique drink options to choose from that it was hard to decide! I ordered the Vietnamese egg coffee, and my husband got the coffee with the ube top. Both drinks were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Vietnamese egg coffee was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, while the ube topping added a fun and unique twist. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the menu definitely makes you want to come back and try more. We'll definitely be returning to sample other drinks next time!

Da Vien Coffee is a Vietnamese coffee shop with multiple locations across the Southern California area. It started in Little Saigon in 2021 and this location in Alhambra just opened recently. It's located in a small plaza with free parking in the lot. I've come a couple times and have tried the marble drip ($5.50), Vietnamese coffee ($5), and the Vietnamese egg coffee ($7) which were all good. There were some tables to sit and free wifi to use to work or study. The prices were relatively affordable compared to boba shops and it has a modern aesthetic with minimalist interior and natural lighting.

Located in the plaza with my favorite banh mi spot. Parking can be tricky but if you are there just for picking up an order, they have 3 designated parking spot right in front just for that. I ordered off the app and my order was ready once I got there. There was a little mistake on one of my orders and they were happy to help me remake the drink. Super helpful. Clean inside and staff were helpful. Nice little addition to Alhambra.

Been to the Rosemead location? was my first time at the Alhambra one. Small location but nice parking lot! Tried the banana latte, it was on a boho special! It was okay there's just too many good drinks here glad I tried it but wouldn't get it again mixed it was delicious but the cream on top was overwhelming by itself. But I know everything else is amazing quality as I've ordered from here before. Service was quick they have a walk up register and a kiosk to order.

I am so happy there is a location a little closer than the Rosemead one. The plaza is very busy and the parking lot gets busy as well. Luckily I have the app and can order there and do pick up. It was my first time trying the strawberry cream oat latte and I enjoyed it a lot.

My sister got me their banana latte, and it has a lovely thick cream with a very strong banana flavor. Good strong Vietnamese coffee. Line is usually longer the closer it is to noon, but if you go early enough, it's quick.

I had a good experience at Da Vien Coffee (Alhambra). I ordered the Ube Cream Coffee ($7 - Large - 20oz). It's STRONG and TASTY. I felt the urge to scream in profanity as my pupils dilated from this coffee's strength. I arrived at Da Vien Coffee (Alhambra) on Wednesday (around 10:50AM). The parking lot is cramped and crowded. Fortunately, I found nearby street parking; sign says, "1 Hour Parking - 9AM to 6PM." Staff exclaim, "Hi. Welcome," as customers enter. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or counter. Staff looks fatigued, but Staff is diligent. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time! As mentioned, I ordered the Ube Cream Coffee ($7 - Large - 20oz). This HUGE Vietnamese coffee is dessert-like, but it's also very functional. Its caffeine is POWERFUL. The drink holds a shy, bitter coffee bite; however, the coffee flows like dark chocolate mixed with fresh, sweet ube. It's delightful! On ambiance, Da Vien Coffee (Alhambra) is modern, clean, and useful. There's customer internet with password; details are displayed near the counter. And there's about six electrical outlets. The location also has a gender neutral restroom, and soft music plays aloud. Da Vien Coffee (Alhambra) is small, but the tall ceiling makes the location feel more spacious. There's about five tables inside. Fortunately, everything felt very clean and comfortable. Overall, I had a good experience at Da Vien Coffee (Alhambra). The prices are very competitive; the coffee is extremely functional and tasty; and the service is quick and efficient. If you enjoy strong coffee, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.7out of 5

BOGO matcha today! Yay?? Not realliiiii What's the point of offering bogo?? Basically, the 2 cups combined equaled 1 drink. So much ice!!! I was literally paying for ice!!! Service was ok. One of the dudes standing at the register didn't bother to greet or anything. Why even stand there..I had to ask this other guy to take my order. I gotta say that this location was very efficient. I could see tons of matcha lattes waiting to be picked up. After ordering, my drinks were ready in less than 10 minutes. The downfall was really the ice. I m sure without ice, the matcha was less than half a cup...smh!

3.6 stars Alhambra's Da Vien just opened up this past weekend, which means I no longer have to drive too far just to get their beverages. I've been to various Da Vien locations and will say that their drinks are consistent from store to store. Customer service has always been decent and quick. And they have an app that allows customers to earn points. In store, there is the option to order at the register or at the kiosk. I've tried Da Vien's Vietnamese coffees before, but I have to say that Lee's Sandwiches' and Yotea's Viet coffee are still some of the best in the area. Today, I got the Banana Matcha sub Oatmilk ($8.75). Their matcha tends to be a little on the bitter side with the flavored creams softening the taste a bit. Their Ham & Swiss Croissant, normally $4.75, is $2.99 on Mondays (w/ drink purchase) in the month of April 2026 when ordering from the app. It tasted good...better than I expected! The interior is small with limited seating. So far, everything on the inside looks clean and new. Parking is free and also limited spaces. I'll be back.

4/12/26 Missed the Grand Opening, thankfully I didn't have to wait in line for 4 hours

4/12/26 Glad I missed the 4 hour long wait at their Grand Opening yesterday. Also happy this one is a little closer (than Rosemead) to me. All in all, great drinks, friendly staff, ambiance is modern but so daRn small & VERY LOUD indoors, I give it 4 stars, being generous, of course. I may deduce it's meant & geared for the younger crowd that can afford to kill off a few more hair cells in the cochlea (yet I digress). It's predictable that I would order the Ube matcha latte & banana matcha latte. I could barely hear John Ashley (order taker at the counter) as the music/background noise was BLARING (customers talking over louder because they can't hear each other), doors opening & the vent fans going off--all add to the NOISE pollution at this shop. Staff are welcoming, as they greet everyone coming through the doors and thank each customer after every encounter & transaction. There is one restroom. Hubby says is clean & modern, no paper towels, single stall. Parking is somewhat limited as it shares with other businesses in this small plaza. The beverages we ordered were made very quickly & are just heavenly delicious. The banana matcha had this creamy banana pudding mixed in- my fave! Hubby loved the Ube matcha latte but really wanted one that's pure Ube- he inquired-- nope, none YET (we hope) The one in Rosemead is probably just as loud but at least it's bigger in terms of accommodating/seating capacity. Both locations are just about the same distance from us. It's a good visit. Likely just a pick up spot because my ears cannot afford the killing of more hair cells. I think management gets the gist of this review lol

This place is alot smaller than the rosemead one. Came during grand opening and it wasnt that bad. Had to wait but i liked that they handed out the giveaway ticket so people cant randomly cut in front. They opened at 9 and i go my drink at 1015. Considering the amount of people that were ahead if me (i was around the corner almost to residental area) I got the banana matcha and it tastes the same as the rosemead one. Glad they werent stingy and kept everything the same.

Da vien hands done is my favorite matcha spot, was a little worried trying a new location because I usually go to westminister for it. However, that is not the case and the quality is still through the roof. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was absolutely delicious. I liked the inside of the place, but it was a little small compared to the other one. The barista was super nice and friendly which I truly appreciated. I'll definitely be back here because this is a lot closer to my house.

We got the: 1) Hojicha Latte: -We got this iced and you have the option to sweeten it with simple syrup or something else. We got this with a black sesame flavor and just the standard milk that it came with. -Not too sweet, but the taste of the sesame or even the hojicha can be a bit stronger as we've had similar drinks to this that were more appealing. 2) Iced Chocolate Milk: -I mean you can't really mess this up to be honest. It's mixed well and doesn't taste scathingly sweet like a bottled chocolate milk. My boyfriend got a no sugar coffee here and it still tasted pretty sweet (like unadjusted Starbucks sweet) and it was just tossed into my chocolate milk because he couldn't stomach it. Overall, it's just okay. I'm not really a coffee person, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!

Their mochi is made with cheese and it's the best thing I've ever had. And I think compared to other places, their cheese cloud is tastier as well. One thing I dislike is that they generally only have one size and it's too small for me. The second thing I dislike is that they don't add much boba if you add it as an extra. It makes sense because the drinks are small but it's a dollar extra. The store is small, only enough space to order drinks. And the wait can be long because the place gets so busy. Despite all this, I think they're the best boba shop from all that I've tried in the area.

Every time I tried to ask questions and communicate about related matters, this staff member was cold, perfunctory and obviously impatient. They never treated customers with basic courtesy, answered my inquiries casually and even spoke in an unfriendly tone. I felt no respect at all during the communication. It is really disappointing to spend money but get such unpleasant treatment. This kind of service manner is far from qualified. I will never come here again, and I won't recommend this shop to anyone. It is necessary for the management to strengthen service training and urge employees to treat customers politely and sincerely.

Find me a treasure bread coffee shop with good looks and strength online!…read more As soon as I entered the door, I was confused by the box full of puffs and coson fragrance. It was completely a paradise for dessert fans Puff Want their Dong Ding Oolong and matcha puffs Dong Ding Oolong The tea fragrance is particularly strong, not that kind of dead sweet cream. At first, there is a faint oolong tea fragrance in the mouth, and the afterter sweetness is very obvious. After eating, it will not be greasy at all. Matcha Puff The source of happiness of matcha stars , the filling is thick and smooth, with a slight bitter charm and tea fragrance, and it goes well with the crispy puff shell. bread Rose Lychee Raspberry Croffin What is amazing this time is that the rose lychee is praised. The outer layer is crispy and the slag is falling off. The song itself has a rich milky fragrance, with the fragrance of rose and lychee fruit. The sense of hierarchy is particularly rich, which is a taste that will be remembered after a bite. almond cream is also with a strong almond fragrance and silky milk sauce, which is full of aroma but not too sweet. runny yolk kimchi bacon garlic roll can be praised Salty The moment you cut it, the egg yolk slowly flows out, with smoked flavor and garlic cream, salty and fragrant, which is very suitable for brunch. coffee Their latte series is also very good. Hazelnut Latte With the aroma of nuts, the coffee and milk fragrance blend very smoothly. Matcha Latte The tea is rich in flavor, and the taste is silky and smooth. It is not only sweet, and matcha has a strong sense of presence. Black Sesame Latte The aroma of sesame is strong, and it feels like a combination of Chinese dessert and coffee. We got the 4-piece set with Bischoff Crunch, Taiwan Dong Ding Oolong Tea, Marukyu Matcha, and Dark Chocolate because leaving chocolate behind feels illegal. First bite in and suddenly everyone at the table forgot manners. The puff shells were perfectly crisp and airy, while the cream inside was smooth, light, and not sugar-bomb sweet. Every flavor showed up exactly as advertised too. The matcha came in earthy and rich, the oolong tasted like tea leaves earned a pastry degree, and the Bischoff Crunch almost caused a "who had more bites" courtroom situation. Meanwhile the Dark Chocolate sat there quietly like the cool cousin at the family party before completely stealing the show. The drinks were not about to get overshadowed either. The Pistachio Cream Top Latte was ridiculous in the best way possible, especially knowing they roast the pistachios in-house before turning them into that silky nutty cloud on top. And the Lemon Breeze Espresso? Bright, citrusy, refreshing, basically summer on vacation while espresso does cartwheels in the background. Safe to say Browned did not come to play. My caffeine levels are concerning, my dessert standards are now unrealistic, and yes... I'm already planning my return like a pastry addict with a mission.
