While the exterior looked inviting, the experience of having gone to Eat here was then less exciting. I'd hoped to have exceptional conversations with my servers about the Indian cuisine I enjoy, and to see what they offer as specials- moreover, what they like or what other guests seem to make popular ... you know, "specials?" or Server suggestions? There was sadly no such interaction. The servers simply "just passed the time" while I ate very basic, unenthusiastic Indian fare, at one end of the restaurant-- while sat directly facing me chatting boringly with oneanother at the opposite end of the restaraunt facing me (so not FENG SHUI!) they sat at the other end in the heat (they really need to improve the AC UNIT at this location! It was much too hot in there). The staff was incredibly unenthusiastic, and the "experience" of eating here was definitely less than hoped for. i'm gonna be really honest about my first time experience with this establishment. I ordered through Uber eats for dinner.. I am a huge fan and will order every time, butter chicken. 3/5 butter chicken: Look like butter chicken didn't taste like butter chicken. It was OK at best.. it lacked the bold flavor that Indian cuisine offers. I just don't think I would order this again.. 3/5 tandoori chicken: Again that bowl flavor was lacking and maybe even blasting a little salt, the chicken leaned a little towards the dryer side and it was OK at best. 3/5 lamb chops: I was seriously looking forward to these, again there wasn't anything special about the flavor and again it needed salt. 3/5 garlic naan: If you're gonna label something like a garlic naan, then I better taste garlic and this is so weak in the garlic flavor that you almost had a question if it was garlic naan. And the chew of the bread was just not that delicate delicious flavorful naan that were so used to.. I don't think I would order from here again and I respectfully say that because what I ordered tonight is typically my go to dishes and if you failed short on these, I'm not interested in anything else on the menu. Bobby is such a fantastic server. Beautiful restaurant located walking distance to the metro train station. Beautiful views of the happening city of South Pasadena. Patrons should take a walk in this cute shopable area after your meal. I prefer being seated indoors since train does come every few minutes. Food has always been delicious. Indian food is made with such love and tasty. I have had them catered a few times. Always on par service here. My fav are the naan and curry. Butter chicken and cauliflower I have to order every time. There is free parking in the building. Love to support small business too. read more

If you walk in knowing what to expect, it's a great experience! I went on a weekday evening, so it wasn't very busy. The owner and waiters are so friendly and helpful, they actually shared some suggestions of items they could make, that were not on the menu (since some ingredients are seasonal). It's a nice, cute eatery with a twist on Indian food... but not overly different than the original dish. The flavors are AMAZING! I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We had a reservation for 7:00 PM, yet we weren't seated until around 7:20 PM despite having booked in advance. After being seated, we had to wait a long time for our food, which made the evening even more frustrating. The service also left a lot to be desired. Our waitress wasn't very welcoming or attentive, and the overall customer service didn't make us feel valued. I understand that busy nights can cause delays, but between the late seating, the long wait for the food, and the lack of friendly service, the overall experience wasn't enjoyable. I hope the restaurant improves its reservation management and customer service because it has the potential to offer a much better dining experience. read more

South Pasadena. I enjoyed my meals at Radhika and love this neighborhood resto. Radhika serves modern, inventive and delicious Indian food. I also love the cool art and environs. It is located across from the South Pasadena metro stop so it's super convenient to get here if you prefer public transport. Radhika is the only Indian restaurant in the area and I love eating here. They serve Indian beer also. Service is helpful and informative. Sometimes the owner is about and checks in on the customers. Super nice. I have only ever order take out so I can't speak on the ambiance but the food, well that speaks for itself. They often have deals that make their decently priced food even better. I love the butter chicken and garlic nan it's a regular go to for my family. Ooo and if you really want a treat get the mango yogurt drink. read more

Radhika offers up some delicious dishes and great views of the metro racing by every few minutes (big hit with the kids!). Looking out into the neighborhood, it feels like being in a quaint town faraway from LA. I absolutely loved the Dry Fruit Banana Chicken Korma, which came with garlic naan. I hadn't had a korma quite like that before and would definitely order again. The Paneer Tikka Masala was also amazing. I found the food to be quite flavorful, and the Taj Mahal beer served in a large frosty beer mug was completely refreshing, The service was also polite and attentive. My mom and I shared the Chicken tikka masala, an order of basmati rice, and garlic naan. It was all AMAZING. And plenty of food for 2 people. We had Lam vindaloo and Chickpea Curry (both spicy)We also had the Chutney Papadum. both dishes were extremely rusted with flavor and the spice was just right the way we like it - Hot! this location is about an hour from where we live, and I would definitely say it was worth it! Part II because we've come back in 2025. This evening we enjoyed the vindaloo (with chicken) and the tikka marsala. We also ordered rice and the bread basket. Every component of this meal was a hit!We ordered it spicy, but also we're given a ramekin full of very spicy spread in order to kick it up even further --which we did!!! However our meal was sadly bland, so much that, if it were not for the friendly service and nice atmosphere, I would give 2 stars. We ordered 5 different stew/curry dishes and they all tasted the SAME--very fatty and barely spiced. The description of the meals on the menu were not accurate. The fish curry, scallops, fish chowder, samosas, garlic naan and Brussels were disappointingly lacking in flavor (the latter two dishes being just ok). They offer a variety of cheap wines that pair well with the foods but I wish that they could invest a little in their wine offerings to have a few better choices. Decided to check this place out after smelling it from the street and I am so happy my boyfriend and I came in. The owner was so nice and personable and even gifted us a mango lassi. I am actually writing this review as I sip on the mango lassi from and I honestly wish I had gotten another one it's so good :,) perfectly tangy and the texture is nice and creamy. We got the full butter chicken, with basmati rice and the naan platter. The butter chicken was good and not too spicy, however we did get a full size and that was way too much food for us (not an issue, was pleasantly surprised) and the rice was nice and aromatic and the naan had a good texture as well! This review is long overdue. The owners and their employees are so amazing in all that they do to serve and prepare the most delicious Indian food you'll ever have in LA. Decor and ambiance are warm and inviting. Tables and seating are always clean and the serving dishes and linen napkins are always freshly cleaned. If you order a beer, they bring you a frosted mug to pour it into, so your beer is ice cold. If they see your mug has turned to room temp, they'll offer you a new frozen one. Needless to say, the service is unmatched. Staff are so friendly, the owners really are passionate about their recipes, and they even have a little friendly competition amongst each other when it comes to their fish stew- which is EXCELLENT. I've tried many of the items on their menu and nothing has ever disappointed. My faves are the lamb shank, fish stew, samosas, garlic naan, chicken tikka, scallops....and I'm sure I'm missing a few because as I've said,, nothing has disappointed! I love Indian food, but the fact is most Indian restaurants have essentially the same menu. There's only so many times I can order Lamb Vindaloo or Goa Shrimp. I've got some favorite spots that do it better than others, but there seemed to be no surprises in Indian cuisine after awhile. Radhika has many of those old classics but also innovative fusion dishes (tandoori lamb tacos, Indian-styled ceviche) and other items I've never seen before (sautéed squash??). It's a really surprising menu that adds much needed excitement to your average Indian dining experience. This is now officially one of my all time favorite Indian restaurants, and probably one of my favorite LA restaurants, period. read more

I ordered through Uber Eats. Firstly, I feel like it should be disclosed whether or not there is rice included. Every Indian restaurant I've ever ordered from automatically includes rice, so I would have liked to have known that I needed to order it separately. Secondly, I have no idea what they gave me, but looking at other pictures, this does not look like what the amritsari butter chicken should have looked like. It was disgusting. It was 95% oil, and even when I tried to mix it up, there was absolutely no "gravy" like there should be. It was inedible and disgusting. I'm appalled that they sent this to somebody to be eaten, much less charged me $18 for it.
