We ordered a thin crust Italian sausage and green pepper pizza. So salty it's inedible! Had to throw the whole thing away. Never again!

The store needs to be cleaned or staff trained to clean. They don't tell you their specials before you order. They won't change it after you order. I've gotten this pizza from the Anoka branch before but decided that Champlin was a better choice tonight because it was on my way. No success getting the coupon code to work online with the pizza so called the staff. They seemed nice but not helpful. After 20 minutes of my precious life gone, I gave up. Called back later to nicely register a simple complaint about all the time it takes to just order a 2-topping pizza without getting overcharged. Just as I was about to hang up I could hear the staff on the other end, who forgot to hang up, swearing gleefully and making fun of the call / stupid customers etc. Won't be going to this location anymore and I hope the owner sees this and has a good talk with those kids about what it means to have a job... read more

Good pizza but the have no sense of time. When they say it'll be ready in 20 minutes, they really mean 40 minutes...

Never been to chanticlear before and was hungry . Its alittle on the pricey side but figured I would try it. Did pick up. A nice older man brought it out for me but the pizza was doughy and tasteless. Usually pizza leftovers are good. But it was stuck to the box and gross. 30 dollars I can get better pizza read more

They don't use gloves!! I was waiting for my order yesterday watching the gal make the pizzas and she was using her bare hands to put all of the toppings on then just wiped her hands on her jeans and moved on to the next one. Super grossed out. Wildly unsanitary. read more

I honestly have to say this is one of my favorites! Between Angeno's, Mama's Pizza and Chanticlear, this one is our most frequented pizza place. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes good and sometimes not so great. Pizza = tasty Buffalo Wings = good We normally spend $35-$40 each time with our two pizzas and bone in wings. I like the crust on this pizza, but due to our last order, we won't be getting pizza here anymore. First, when I called to order, it was like I couldn't get the person on the other end of the phone to listen or take my order. Don't ask me why. Second, we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza which, when it came, had no buffalo on it anywhere. We thought we would just contact the management later to complain about the service and the disparity between advertisement and actual pizza, but since there's no contact information online, I just decided to write this review. read more

I love their pan crust pizza!! I've been ordering it for years & I must say that tonight was probably the best pizza I've ever eaten from Chanticlear! Whoever made my pizza tonight can never leave! TLDR: Don't even waste your time unless you like being insulted, having your order show up 2 hours later messed up missing half of it at room temp and then being told after 3 more calls that you didn't actually get charged for XYZ even though you're staring at the receipt and trying to explain that to the brain dead person on the phone is more hassle than the $15 it was worth so you just hang up and create a yelp account to complain about this one establishment. And the pizza isn't "special" by any means. ------ I actually signed up for Yelp to create this post, this is how bad the service is at this place. I have lived in Champlin now for about 8 years, I had not ordered from this location in almost 2 years because of the poor service. I had someone come by my home selling a coupon book for Chanticlear in September for a fundraiser and I figured what the heck, they can't still be in business and still be as bad as it was before. I was wrong. I actually just threw out the whole $30 coupon book. This place can not hire someone to take your order to save their life. They actually speak to you like you are a pain because they are "busy". I'm sure they are busy because they are under-staffed because honestly, there can't be that many orders, or everyone is just used to sub-par customer service and it doesn't affect business anymore. Not only did my order come almost 2 hours later, they messed up the whole thing, forgot some of it, tried to tell me I didn't pay for what they forgot when I called, even though I have the receipt. That whole process took 3 calls just to find out that the staff wasn't going to bring my forgotten portion of the order. Oh and I had to write a check because even though I used the online order form and gave them my credit card for payment, they stated that they didn't run my card and he needed payment at the door. If I find out that my card was also run I'll be making more than a Yelp review I can tell you that much. And that joke of an online order system, LOL, step into the 21st century please. I build websites and I can tell you that you can find pre-built order systems for under $2000 ready to go. The order system is a joke. And when you call, they are rude, brain dead and honestly probably the worst customer service people ever in the history of food service. To make matters worse it's not even that good. It would be nice to rotate in some variety which was why I looked forward to ordering from them again, but I can say that the last 2 orders in as many weeks after my boycott of their establishment back in 2014 has cured me of ever calling this number, using the website or giving them any more of my money. I won't even accept an apology meal from them, they would be the kind of place that spits in your food. If you want to roll the dice if your meal will even show up, chance the order system online or put your dignity on the line by calling, be my guest, your best outcome will be a standard pizza, your worst outcome will be that you will be insulted after waiting 2 hours for a pizza that's being delivered less than 2 miles from your home, having it arrive messed up, room temp or worse and missing most if not all of your order only to be told you didn't pay for that and your order magically cost $50 even with the missing things you "didn't pay for". Oh and their website is not PCI compliant and the system they use to collect your credit card info is against the PCI Compliance Act. Again, something I'm well aware of and handle in my line of work. read more

BEST PIZZA EVER! I have been getting pizza from this location nearly once a week for the past 5+ years. I have had one time in all these years when the pizza was squished and they fixed it.
