Although this beauty supply is really big and has a lot of things to choose from this store is very overpriced! I really visit this location, but I was over this way and really needed to stop and get some hair so I came here because I knew I would be able to get what I needed because the selection is so big however they are a little bit more expensive than other vehicle supply store. some of the workers aren't the friendliest, but the younger girls and some of the guys are more friendlier. my opinion 3.5 OVERALL read more

I used to love Chapel Beauty, but I will never shop here again. Over the past year, prices on many products have more than doubled. At the same time, they quietly removed price tags from the shelves. That is not an accident. That is a strategy. I am not shopping anywhere that hides prices from customers. When prices are not visible, it allows them to be changed at the register or adjusted constantly without transparency. That is deceptive, predatory, and unethical. Customers should know exactly what they are paying before they get to the counter. Full stop. This business model relies on confusion and pressure, not trust. It feels like prices are being changed on a regular basis with no accountability, and the lack of posted pricing makes it impossible to make informed decisions. That should honestly be illegal. I will not be back, and I strongly suggest others shop somewhere that respects customers enough to show clear pricing and operate with basic honesty. Of the 5 employees that I encountered there, only 1--a very nice Black lady in the wig section--greeted me and offered to help me. I found Chapel Beauty by accident trying to avoid traffic. I happened to need a product that I can only find in beauty supply stores, so I decided to give this place a try. It's so much bigger than you would think. It's friggin' huge. So much so that I've never walked through the whole store. It's about the size of a TJ Maxx. And it's a beauty supply store. I only buy beauty products and occasionally toiletries. But they sell so much stuff here - clothes, shoes, jewelry, every kind of hair accessory imaginable, and anything a makeup artist or hairstylist needs. The quality ranges from cheap to good quality, and there is a lot to choose from. There are several familiar name brands with prices comparable to what you would pay at a typical retail store. And I've never seen so much fake hair in one place; if I ever wear weave again; I'm buying it here. I've only asked for help once and the guy who helped did it with a smile - mainly because what I was looking for was right in front of me but I hadn't managed to focus on it. $400 for a wig that shedded everywhere and became extremely tangled after getting wet! The wig was supposedly human hair and it was NOT!

I purchased damaged clothing and attempted to call the store right after I realized but nobody answered the phone. I do not live in this area so I wasn't able to come back within the next two days. When I was able to come back the manager, Diana rudely told me that I should've tried to call back again the next day and maybe she would've been able to do something for me. I have a full schedule and I doubt that even if i did call the next day that she would've been kind. A good business would have at least tried to accommodate my issues considering THEY sold me damaged goods, I did not damage it myself. Keep in mind, the rips in the clothing make them unwearable. They have a great selection of items but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They need to do better. read more

I'm not sure if ppl are stealing wig caps or what but they made a huge deal I had tried on 3 wigs so I purchased another wigs cap to try on three more. The other attendant didn't know I had purchased the second and was about to make a scene and I had to explain I had purchased another wig cap already! I was trying on a $300 wig do you really think I need to steal a 50 cent wig cap. I've heard them have confrontations with customers in the wig section EVERY TIME I go in there. I bought a pack of hair on Friday night right before they closed and the hair I bought was color 27 since my hair has blonde highlights and I wanted to do a high ponytail. Got home and did not like it since it didn't blend well with my hair. I never took the hair out the pack FYI everything was still in intact. Went back SATURDAY MORNING to return it because I did not like it. They gave a attitude and was very rude but ended up giving me store credit but the moral is they attitude was STANK! I absolutely love this beauty supply store. They have everything in more that I need. I can Spain at least 45 minutes to an hour walking around picking up things I don't need. The staff is friendly and the store is always clean and organized. My only complaint is that every time I go there something wrong with the bathroom. This is not in my neighborhood and are usually come on my way home from somewhere else. It would be nice to be able to use the restroom before or after I shop. I have been here three times and each time is there some issue with the bathroom. One time somebody had had a number two accident in it and no one was willing to clean it up. read more
