Starting with the good: tha location is good enough for someone without a car, the publix is a 5…read moreminute walk and Aldi is a 10 minute walk. The FSU bus stop is also a 7 minute walk. There is a Walgreens, nearby, the gym on redpoint is good, the swimming pool is nice. I did not have issues with pests other than in the beggining of the summer during a couple of days termites would invade the house but they left some days later. It is mostly silent. Since they are townhouses you do not struggle as much with being crowded with other apartments. The West Tennessee St. can be loud sometimes specially if your room faces that side but nothing insane unless you are an increbly light sleeper. The maintenance team is awesome, they will fix anything no problem ever. On the bad: Why is the garbage disposal so far away? there is one (1) garbage disposal in the whole community and I had to carry my trash bags all the way over there each time. If you move here you will see people with cars put the bags on top of their cars but I had to do it by hand. The people at the office are absolutely incompetent, they are children who dont know what they are doing. They love charging you stuff on your lease that you cant get rid off and they will do nothing to help you, they charge you for not having renters insurance, I sent them my insurance but they outsource the checking, to some other company who responded that my insurance did not comply with their requirements, I told them it did, but neither this third party nor red point helped. I tried a second time hoping this time they will notice my insurance complied but the same thing happened, again they did nothing. So I was stuck paying their fee for "not having insurance" and the insurance. I never felt unsafe, but in the year I lived there, there were at least 3 car break-ins. Now this is not unique to redpoint, I think you will struggle to find any place in tallahassee with open parking that does not have break-ins. I did not have to worry since I do not have a car but it is something to consider, this is not a gated community. Finally, the house was fine, they do not keep them in perfect condition but they are ok. like the tables are scratched. and there are paint drops around from their many paint jobs they give after every moveout but for a college house it is pretty nice.

We have told them about all the wear and tear that was there BEFORE we got there. There are too many reasons why no one should live here, but the main one is that whoever took over management is stealing from students and is gaslighting them into thinking that the amenities they failed to provide were somehow our fault. Like, seriously, their trash situation is ILLEGAL. They found a loophole to not get caught.

During summer there's no security so the homeless people break in because you're on the brink of a bad neighborhood and the "homeless pond" is ten feet away from the apartment. When you email no one responds for days to weeks on end. We recently just spent four days with no ac during an extreme heat advisor, the emergency maintenance man on call ignored us because he had his kid and it was raining. We've also had continuous issues with the wifi, roaches, break-ins, loud neighbors, trash filled up so high you can't open the door, and smelly hallways since we moved in two years ago.

We had a tour scheduled and confirmed via both phone and email for Saturday, April 5th. We made a 7-hour drive north specifically for this appointment, only to arrive and find the leasing office empty. After such a long drive, we were understandably frustrated and exhausted. Unsure if the office was closed or if staff were simply unavailable, we waited for over an hour and a half while trying to find a way to contact someone--especially given the time, tolls, and high gas costs involved in making this trip. Eventually, we were able to reach Destiny. She sincerely apologized for the mix-up and, despite the situation, immediately took ownership and assured us she would do everything possible to make it right. True to her word, she quickly coordinated with Mark. Mark stepped in without hesitation. Even though he was off that day, he arrived within minutes and greeted us with a positive, friendly, and professional attitude. He was incredibly understanding of our situation and took his time giving us a full tour of the building, amenities, and apartment. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and never made us feel rushed. What truly stood out was not just that Mark showed up--but how he showed up. Despite the inconvenience, he maintained a warm and welcoming demeanor the entire time. He even went out of his way to greet and assist other prospective tenants who arrived during our visit, offering tours with the same level of enthusiasm and professionalism. Mark and Destiny turned what could have been a very disappointing and costly day--14 hours of driving, early morning travel, and significant expenses--into a successful and positive experience. Their commitment to making things right speaks volumes about their character and dedication. If this is how issues are handled at this community, it gives me great confidence moving forward. I would be happy to rent here for my two daughters knowing that this level of care and accountability exists. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and amazing Destiny and Mark were. They both deserve significant recognition for their efforts and for setting such a high standard of customer service. I am still waiting to hear back from management, but I sincerely hope their actions do not go unnoticed.

There is one elevator in the entire building and it is ALWAYS broken. It shakes and it always smells like fish. One time after Halloween there was throw up in the corner for a whole weekend. In one of the staircases by my apartment, there is throw up on the top stair and it has been there for 2 weeks now uncleaned, and will probably still be there for another month. Moving on, the office people SUCK and do not do their job that they are literally getting paid to do. They have attitude when you ask questions and are lazy to put in your packages, so most of the time you won't get them until 3 days after it gets delivered. And if you go to the office to pick them up the office people are rude and don't help you WHATSOEVER. The gates to the parking lot suck and are always breaking. One time I couldn't leave the parking lot because neither one of the gates would open and it took them a couple hours to fix them so you couldn't go anywhere until they got them open. What really SUCKS about this place are the TV's. They're a weird brand I've never even heard of and they DON'T work. We requested a new TV for our apartment in AUGUST and it is MAY now and we still haven't gotten one. We bought a Roku for our TV, however it lags and the sound is never synced up to the picture so we constantly have to go out of the movie we're watching to re-sync the sound and picture. The only good thing about this place are the maintenance men. They are very fast and do a great job and are some of the nicest people ever. Our apartment always needs maintenance, so the maintenance men know us by now and say hi to us if they see us. Overall, do NOT live here. The amenities are incredibly mid for how much you pay to live here and most of the time something is always broken and an inconvenience. For 2 months only one of the treadmills in the gym worked out of 5. Save your money and live somewhere else.

No one had cleaned the living area in years. The oven was damaged. The cabinets were damaged. The couch was torn to shreds. Only one treadmill worked the time I was there. Half of the year the gate was either broken or just open for anybody. - When I moved out they tried to pin the damage to the living area on me which I clearly marked in the form checking in. After disputing that and paying whatever was left, I get a text 2 months later accusing me I never paid it and I was going to be sent to collections unless I did. Again I had to dispute it. Like I said before, the staff here was usually very nice and helpful but it doesn't make up for the conditions and the administrative problems I experienced. You can find a much better place for cheaper I promise you. I don't know how but this place continues to be a headache for me even after I moved out over 2 months ago.

No matter what unit you are in be prepared to not have hot showers. Or working toilets. Or working vents or AC. I loved living in a townhouse but it was definitely the least nice conditions I have ever seen especially for the price. They also are the type of people to charge you for additional things until you notice. We were charged several times for "Carpet cleaning" in a townhouse that had completely wood floors No carpet anywhere in the entire building and definitely no one ever cleaning anything. They refuse to talk to residents, the staff has no idea what's going on (which it does not seem like it's their fault) and they do not care about the safety or the living conditions of the people that pay over a thousand dollars a month to live there. I am surprised they are still making money and I truly hope they have some management changes soon. I can promise you the extra 5 minute walk to campus is worth it, do NOT live here.
