Starting with the good: tha location is good enough for someone without a car, the publix is a 5…read moreminute walk and Aldi is a 10 minute walk. The FSU bus stop is also a 7 minute walk. There is a Walgreens, nearby, the gym on redpoint is good, the swimming pool is nice. I did not have issues with pests other than in the beggining of the summer during a couple of days termites would invade the house but they left some days later. It is mostly silent. Since they are townhouses you do not struggle as much with being crowded with other apartments. The West Tennessee St. can be loud sometimes specially if your room faces that side but nothing insane unless you are an increbly light sleeper. The maintenance team is awesome, they will fix anything no problem ever. On the bad: Why is the garbage disposal so far away? there is one (1) garbage disposal in the whole community and I had to carry my trash bags all the way over there each time. If you move here you will see people with cars put the bags on top of their cars but I had to do it by hand. The people at the office are absolutely incompetent, they are children who dont know what they are doing. They love charging you stuff on your lease that you cant get rid off and they will do nothing to help you, they charge you for not having renters insurance, I sent them my insurance but they outsource the checking, to some other company who responded that my insurance did not comply with their requirements, I told them it did, but neither this third party nor red point helped. I tried a second time hoping this time they will notice my insurance complied but the same thing happened, again they did nothing. So I was stuck paying their fee for "not having insurance" and the insurance. I never felt unsafe, but in the year I lived there, there were at least 3 car break-ins. Now this is not unique to redpoint, I think you will struggle to find any place in tallahassee with open parking that does not have break-ins. I did not have to worry since I do not have a car but it is something to consider, this is not a gated community. Finally, the house was fine, they do not keep them in perfect condition but they are ok. like the tables are scratched. and there are paint drops around from their many paint jobs they give after every moveout but for a college house it is pretty nice.

Stay away FSU unless if you want to continue to pay well after you move out!

We had a tour scheduled and confirmed via both phone and email for Saturday, April 5th. We made a 7-hour drive north specifically for this appointment, only to arrive and find the leasing office empty. After such a long drive, we were understandably frustrated and exhausted. Unsure if the office was closed or if staff were simply unavailable, we waited for over an hour and a half while trying to find a way to contact someone--especially given the time, tolls, and high gas costs involved in making this trip. Eventually, we were able to reach Destiny. She sincerely apologized for the mix-up and, despite the situation, immediately took ownership and assured us she would do everything possible to make it right. True to her word, she quickly coordinated with Mark. Mark stepped in without hesitation. Even though he was off that day, he arrived within minutes and greeted us with a positive, friendly, and professional attitude. He was incredibly understanding of our situation and took his time giving us a full tour of the building, amenities, and apartment. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and never made us feel rushed. What truly stood out was not just that Mark showed up--but how he showed up. Despite the inconvenience, he maintained a warm and welcoming demeanor the entire time. He even went out of his way to greet and assist other prospective tenants who arrived during our visit, offering tours with the same level of enthusiasm and professionalism. Mark and Destiny turned what could have been a very disappointing and costly day--14 hours of driving, early morning travel, and significant expenses--into a successful and positive experience. Their commitment to making things right speaks volumes about their character and dedication. If this is how issues are handled at this community, it gives me great confidence moving forward. I would be happy to rent here for my two daughters knowing that this level of care and accountability exists. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and amazing Destiny and Mark were. They both deserve significant recognition for their efforts and for setting such a high standard of customer service. I am still waiting to hear back from management, but I sincerely hope their actions do not go unnoticed.

During summer there's no security so the homeless people break in because you're on the brink of a bad neighborhood and the "homeless pond" is ten feet away from the apartment. When you email no one responds for days to weeks on end. We recently just spent four days with no ac during an extreme heat advisor, the emergency maintenance man on call ignored us because he had his kid and it was raining. We've also had continuous issues with the wifi, roaches, break-ins, loud neighbors, trash filled up so high you can't open the door, and smelly hallways since we moved in two years ago.

We…read morewere not permitted to see the actual unit before signing the lease because it was still occupied. Instead, my daughter was shown a beautifully maintained model apartment that bore no resemblance to the unit we ultimately received. When we arrived on move-in day, we were stunned by the condition of the apartment. The carpet was heavily stained, the floors were so worn that sections of the subfloor were exposed, and the entire unit was clearly unprepared for new residents. To make matters worse, the roommate assignment completely disregarded the preferences we submitted. My daughter and her friend, both STEM majors, specifically requested studious roommates who did not party or drink. Instead, we walked into an apartment that had clearly hosted a recent party--complete with visible bottles of alcohol. My daughter suffers from allergies and migraines. The smell of weed permeated the apartment upon inspection of the apartment. As it is a trigger for her, we had to quickly leave the premises. Because I live over 800 miles away and had to return to my home state, I had no choice but to immediately secure another place for my daughter to live. The unit was simply unacceptable and uninhabitable. Despite the fact that she never moved in or stayed there a single night, we are still being charged rent and utilities for this apartment. We have paid a reletting fee but it remains empty three months later. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and distressing. I strongly urge prospective residents to demand to see the exact unit they will be leasing and to thoroughly inspect it before signing any agreement.

They prioritize profit over the well-being of their tenants. Through three supposed management changes in one lease year, the lack of accountability and integrity was simply criminal. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a safe, peaceful living space. The management does not maintain the building, address residents' concerns, or honor their responsibilities. The most egregious and unsafe of all of our concerns is a recent issue with their electronic locks that did not allow a large portion of their tenants their ability to leave their homes and lock doors. Our family had to drive hours to move our daughter into a safer place. Management should have acknowledged the weeks-long issue despite numerous phone calls and visits to their office. Also, management has been known to enter residents' apartments without proper notice or consent. This is a clear violation of privacy and has caused many students to feel uncomfortable in their own homes. I advise any parents or students considering living here to look elsewhere.

The rent was mid-range, more expensive than renting from an owner, but cheaper than most of the complexes in the area. They tried to raise the rent about $100.00 every lease. On our second year, it got too expensive and we moved somewhere better for cheaper (Myers Park duplexes on Jennings St.). This was back when there was management on site in the office and the manager had a big drug problem, so he would try to get the rent from us in cash. I did not trust him. Whatever you do, only pay with a check and keep a carbon copy or make a Xerox copy for yourself. Because they tried to say that we did not pay the pet deposit of $400.00 one time, and I had to bring the carbon copy of the check to them to prove I paid for it. This also happened a couple times with the rent, where they said that we did not pay it and wanted to charge us late fees. So, I brought my copy of the check to the office and they looked really stupid. So beware of this, I hope it is not a scam that they run. Some of the neighbors said that they had rats, but we only had three large roaches come inside within two years, which was not bad. I did like that the units were mostly tiled, and the large walk in closet in the bedroom with the washer dryer hook-up in it. I did not like living here during football season, where all of the FSU football game patrons would park all over the lawn and in your space, then proceed to spray-paint and trash the place. This is going to happen regardless, no matter what management there is on it. Just FYI, our electric/water bill was $283.00 a month here for a one bedroom!

First, the room I was assigned to was built with very bad ventilation. I later learned so all of the other rooms in my apartment also fell victim. My roommates had to do the same. We also encountered a very large amount of bugs, our apartment was close to the door to get outside so we assumed that was why, but that didn't make matters any better. This really is though your typical college apartment complex. It's over-priced and cheaply made, however we had an absolute blast living here.
