DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES STAY HERE!…read more The nurses are NEGLIGENT, my Grandma, who unfortunately passed away in this nursing home due to their negligence, was screaming out in pain for a WHOLE HOUR before my mother came to drop off food. When my mother came by she had to yell at the people in the front desk to tend to my Grandma. Why did it have to take a person to yell at them to tend to an elder who is literally screaming out in pain so loud you could hear her as you walk into the building? The nurses came to tend to her gave her some kind of strong pain killer after getting approval from a doctor they were talking to and measured her oxygen and said she was fine and kept insisting she was, my mom told the nurse to call for an ambulance multiple times and the nurse kept telling her they did. Ambulances DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 15-20 MINUTES LATER. Garden Grove Hospital is THREE minutes away from the care center, UCI Medical Center is FIVE MINUTES away from this care center. They absolutely did not call the ambulance until it WAS TOO LATE, my Grandma had fainted and probably when she passed away and thats when they measured her oxygen and couldn't get a reading and started panicking, when the paramedics arrived they had to start her heart up again and take her to the hospital where the doctor had told my mother she was long gone and she had not received oxygen for FORTY MINUTES. It is absolutely disgusting and terrible how these nurses do NOT care at all this care center should be investigated. If you have loved ones that you love and care about DO NOT send them here, if anything were to happen to them YOU CAN NOT expect the "nurses" here to do anything to help, they will brush your elders off and ignore them. this is disgusting and disgraceful behavior from so called nurses and they should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. Imagine if my mother never came by, those people would've NEVER tended to my Grandma, imagine if it was your loved one and you come to visit to find out they had already passed in their bed because nobody would check in with them or care for them.

I don't know who is writing ALL these lying exaggerating reviews? I'm going to have to 100% agree…read morewith Vincent, these nurses/doctors need some compassion and more training when it comes to elderly patients. It also wouldn't hurt to brush up on bedside manners. Chapman Care Center is seriously lacking empathy. There is NEVER parking, because the lazy staff parks in visitor parking and not their own. The dated entire facility has a smelly permanent stench, so bad you can smell it just walking up to the front door. The staff does not greet upon entry because they're too busy on their cell phones. You can literally hear patients screaming in pain and nobody's doing anything to help. I would seriously reconsider sending my loved one to Chapman Care Center.

DON'T GET FOOLED. My…read moremother lived in the Memory Care unit at Park View Estates beginning in November 2024 and ending in early December 2025. Based on our experience, there are issues families should understand before choosing this facility. Yes -- the facility is attractive. At first glance it appears bright, clean, and well maintained. Unfortunately, that does not necessarily translate into consistent care. State licensing records from 2021 show that the Park View's Memory Care rooms included emergency pull cords in resident bedrooms and bathrooms, as required by state regulations at the time the facility opened. That same report also stated that all residents would be provided wearable alert pendants to be worn at all times. Even the brochure we received when visiting the facility clearly stated that the suites were "equipped with an emergency alert system installed for summoning help from your care team." However, when our mother lived there beginning in November 2024, we did not observe functioning emergency pull cords or call buttons inside her Memory Care room. The locations where pull cords would normally be installed were covered with electrical plates (see photos). They did offer wearable pendants, but they are not mandatory and there is an upcharge (an additional monthly fee). The only fixed emergency call buttons we observed were located outside the resident rooms in the hallway (see photos) which do not satisy State regulations related to in-room call systems. Because of these concerns, we filed complaints with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) in March, May and September 2025 regarding the emergency call system. In January 2026, CDSS sent us their investigative finding. The investigation found that the facility's call system does not operate from residents' rooms. After we raised these concerns and pursued the state complaint process, our family was subsequently served with an eviction notice. Ultimately, even though it was traumatic for my mother to leave her newly found friends, we chose to move her to another facility that has a functioning in-room emergency response system. Another issue families should understand involves Park View's Medical Director. This is the person whose opinion can influence whether a resident is allowed to remain at the facility or be evicted. We learned that the Park View Medical Director also serves as a medical consultant for a law firm that represents assisted living facilities against residents in resident-related disputes. This dual role, in our view, raised questions regarding the independence of the medical determinations affecting our mother's residency. Also. if you do rely on the pendant system, in our experience, responses were slow and there were many occasions where we either had to call the front desk ourselves or drive to the facility to resolve an issue. Families researching this facility on the CDSS website (and everyone should do this) should also understand that complaint investigations can take a long time to appear on the State's public licensing website. For example, the most recent investigation posted in February 2026 concerned health and safety issues alleged to have occurred in 2023, roughly three years earlier. We currently have several complaints that are more than six months old that still have not appeared on the public site. My advice is to look carefully at reviews that discuss response times and quality of care, not just comments about how clean or attractive the building appears, which will seem favorable to short-term, visitors (i.e., those not needing service in the middle of the night). There are simply better choices available for your loved ones than Park View. Especially if they have needs beyond room and board.

The level of care, compassion, and professionalism shown by everyone at Sun Mar is truly remarkable. No matter the situation, their staff consistently go above and beyond for their patients. Like any place, there were some issues along the way, but what stood out most was how promptly and effectively they handled everything. Every issue was addressed and resolved in a timely and caring manner, and my dad's needs were always their top priority. From the nurses and physical therapists to the staff who assisted with meals, bathing, and medication, every single person played an important role in my dad's recovery. Their teamwork and dedication made such a difference. I'd especially like to acknowledge Jun, Julie, Andy, Brandon, Jasper, Michael, Dennis, Christine, Mark, Stephanie, Lisa, Lucy, Celina, Cindy, Sarah, Angie, Jaime, Ben, Mark, Ester, Navi, Balgit, Shainah,( I am sure I am forgetting alot of names...) for their kindness, responsiveness, and personal attention throughout my dad's stay. I'll never forget how accommodating Jun was when I reached out on short notice. I think it was 24 hours before we needed to transfer my dad. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently, ensuring my dad could be admitted without delay. That kind of compassion and professionalism is rare, and I truly appreciate it so much!! Thank you to everyone at Sun Mar Nursing Center for your care, patience, and commitment. You made a difficult time much easier for our family, and we will continue to recommend Sun Mar to anyone in need of quality care for their loved ones.

This is a long overdue review! I highly recommend this school for all prospective CNA students…read more There were many schools to choose from and I am SO GLAD I chose this one! First, it's the most affordable school on the list of ACCREDITED CNA schools. In addition they have both day and night classes to accommodate your needs as a working student. Second, the amount of hands-on training is incomparable to other schools I looked into. They truly prepare you for your state exam which explains their high testing scores! Besides that the instructors are kind, helpful, and will challenge you to push yourself to excel! Lastly, the MVP is the director of the schools itself Dr. Kal! This man is a father figure to us students! It's been almost 6 months since we graduated and he still contacts our class for job opportunities available and updates about maintaining our license! He truly cares for his students success DURING and AFTER your program! And he's funny!! Overall, I can't recommend this school enough, I've told numerous students about this school and will continue to do so!
