I came to Chapman Hyundai to see their deals on the Ioniq 6 and see my options to lease or purchase one. I told them I had already driven the Ioniq 6, liked it and wanted to see lease pricing. Their response was unless I was serious and wanted to buy today they weren't interested in showing anything. They also tried their usual smoke and mirrors that their online promotion of $7500 Hyundai lease cash was limited time only even though Hyundai has been rolling that promo for months now since Teslas price war made their 50k EVs over priced. If these guys act like this in the first 5 minutes imagine how they'll treat you once you decide to purchase a car with them. Don't waste your time and if you really need an EV that bad go get a Tesla Model Y who don't play games and actually let you drive their cars for 37k OTD. If you need an ICE car check out Penske, Avondale Toyota or Centennial Auto and Leasing for honest transparent service. Edit: business replies that I refused to show their quote I got from a competitor when I brought up their Ioniq 6 leasing deals. I had not contacted or visited a Ioniq dealer before this and was responding to their Hyundai America leasing promotion stating $189/mo with $7500 lease cash for an Ioniq 6 SE. Luckily after two bad experiences with local Arizona Hyundai dealers that wouldn't show pricing or what was on their lot I was able to get in contact with Harbor Hyundai in Long Beach which was transparent with their inventory and leasing options. A year ago I started using this dealership for oil changes and thought they are decent. I normally have synthetic oil change for my Hyundai, it costs more, but give me.peacw of mind since I have a Hyundai Santa Fe 2017. A few times I paid $120 for a synthetic oil change, they charged me for the synthetic oil price, but gave me the regular oil. I had to take my SUV back to make sure they fix the problem. Two months ago, I brought my car in for a another synthetic oil change, as always they tried to sell.me stuff that I don't need. I usually ignored it, being a woman, I know they tried to scare me. After the oil change, my car started leaking oil. We had a couple of rains the last two months so I thought the leak was from the rain water. We also flew to the east coast for 3 weeks and didn't use the car since. When we came back, it was a huge puddle of oil in the garage. I know right away that the dealership messed up my vehicle. I called them up and said asked them to take a look at it. The scheduler told me that the dealership will charge me $275 just to run the diagnostic test on it to see what caused the leak. I told her that there was no leak prior to bringing my car in and they should take a look first before trying to charge me. She stood her ground and said that they'd still charge me at least $300 after tax for the diagnostic. I was outraged with the low quality of customer service, un-accountability, so I asked to speak with the manager or GM, she said she would pass the message along, but NO ONE called me back. I decided to take my car to John's automotive service in Apache Junction that is highl recommended by my friend, Thomas. They are a bit far, but they are so kind and took my vehicle in right away. Chris, the auto mechanic, took a 5-minute look and told me that the deal *F-up* my engine drain plug gasket by over twisting it and broke the seal which created the oil leak. Chris replaced the engine oil drain plug gasket for $20, INCLUDING DIAGNOSTIC & LABOR. Im so grateful for John's Automotive Service in AJ. They have saved the day. Chapman Hyundai Scottsdale Dealership is a CRIMINAL & SCAMMER!!! Please do yourself a They will F-up your vehicle and tried to over charge you for additional mess that they created. They care about their BOTTOM-LINE, definitely do not care about you. If you try to complain to their supervisors, good. luck!! NONE of them will get back to you. We work hard for our money, we are the working class, but they will have no sympathy and will rip you off regardless.
