Terrible company. Charged me $726.98 to tow a 29 foot toy hauler trailer 8.1 miles, PLUS $150.00 per day storage PLUS $149.00 fee to pick up my trailer on a Saturday for a total of $2258.67! PLUS they lied to me about not having the keys when they did all along. The phone number on the form to duspute the charges went nowhere - wrong number. They were assigned by AAA and I was given a 2hr ETA. Just over 2hrs later AAA called and said they would be there shortly. 3hrs after my initial call I get a text that they are an hour away. When they finally show up the driver was overly chatty and complained about how little he makes on AAA tows and has to rely on tips. The tip comment came up SEVEN times. This is why you're getting a one star review. Your driver was great in every way. Car was loaded securely and he clearly took care doing his job but basically begging for a tip and oversharing his life added at least another 20min to the job. No wonder from initial call to drop off was over 6hrs. Here is a tip for your drivers be fast and friendly. Your customer has a broken down vehicle that will most likely require money they may or may not have to fix. Your issues are your own. Don't ask or beg for tips. I have tipped drivers in the past but of my own free will not because they were begging for one. read more

I've lived in Clark County for over 50 years and have used Chappelle's on a number of occasions, twice within ten days recently. It was a great experience. Both drivers were polite, well groomed and competent, showing care for one's vehicle. Evidently they've merged with Speed's Towing which provided my first tow. I called Chappelle and ended up with a Speed's driver. They asked me if there was any problem with such. I said nope, just send someone. Regardless both were great. I highly recommend them both. if zero stars was an option, that would be my choice. they were very unkind and manipulative, i called the receptionist out when she talked down to me and she got even more angry. it was so hard to deal with these people. ADDITIONALLY they tow without warning from my buddies complex. I asked one of there employees about it once and he said HE WAS TOWING A PARTICULAR CAR BECAUSE HE DID NOT LIKE ONE OF HIS NEIGHBORS...as in, the tow truck driver lives in the complex too and he was towing his own neighbor because he thinks they are annoying. wow. this was so shocking and angering. I will end with this, they do not wear masks at their facility or when they are out towing cars, which is really selfish and adds to their unprofessional demeanor. read more

Insurance contacted this company and they arrived over 3.5 hours later. After 1.5 we called for ETA and received rude response and told 60 more minutes. After additional 90 minutes same rudeness when providing ETA of additional 45 minutes. Tow driver rude upon arrival and stated he tried to call but being so was on phone with my ins agent to get a different tow company and I missed it yet he left no voicemail. Attitude anytime is not okay but certainly not when customer has been waiting for over 3.5 hours and already stressed over car issues. Will not ever use this company again and will notify my insurance agency of the poor service. Note; when on call with 800 ins agent she also received rude communication from tow company when she called to follow up. read more

Driver was very rude and unprofessional. He went to another group of people which happened to be a group of ladies. When got his attention he was not very helpful. He had me back the car out of a parking spot with a totally flat tire. The tire almost came off the rim! He dropped the car off at Les Schwab and did not even tell them that the car was there. As I didn't use the business but had to have an interaction with whoever was driving down Mill Plain today on June 26th 2022, at 2:30pm as they were extremely tailing every single car & almost ran us off of the road. He then proceeded to curse at us when we asked why we were being tailed off of the road when he could of passed us. Claims he "was on a police call & when his tow truck lights are on to get the f*** out of his way" as we have a toddler in the back seat of our car & again, we were on Mill Plain where there are multiple lanes & he could of passed us & all the other cars he was tailgating. Called Triple A (AAA) and they sent Chappelle's Towing to help me fix a flat. I waited the standard 1 hour time which I have always had to do for a AAA call. When the man arrived from Chappelle's he was super friendly, knowledgable and funny. He explained what he was going to do, why and why not things occurred with my tire and provided suggestions to me when I took my car (and tire) to my dealership. I left my car parked at my freinds house for far too long. I know that was my bad. It was towed by the city becouse he lives close to downtown area. I went to go get it out. Paid them and all was well, very freindly. Untill they explained to me that one wheel was messed up very badly....I couldnt get it out without buying a new wheel and tire. I didnt think to take pictures of my car before it was towed so I could not prove anything of course....fun experience. If they tow you get pictures of your car before to document damage. I understand being towed I would forget my head if it wasnt attatched but this was a rare 1982 datsun sunny. Original wheels. If you've ever been in a situation where you are stranded and just can't get a tow truck to come help, you sure appreciate when one finally shows up. There is a driver shortage in this industry, so a lot of people have likely experienced that. With this particular situation, the car was not drivable, and Speeds Towing was first contacted. I won't go into details, but they kept telling me "40 more minutes before he gets there." Ultimatey, he just didn't show up, at al, and gave me no call or explanation. Thankfully, Chappelle's Towing was the complete opposite of that. He was there within 30 minutes and was professional, courteous and skilled. read more

Tommy was quick, efficient - got the old wheel off and our replacement put on - and on top of that, was friendly. The worst company in the US after Verizon and Comcast. They tow on a Friday evening and then charge $89 to get the car on the weekend ( they are close Saturday and Sunday) on top of the $189 for the tow, and $40+ to store it. Shame on Chappelle's. That's some sketchy business. read more

My granddaughter parked too long at a friend's apartment. Chappelle's towed her car. We went to get the car and paid over $200 to get it back. When we went out to the car we noticed the front license plate missing. They said it was like that when they got it; not true. My granddaughter drove off to work and said the car seemed off. She's only 16 and not that experienced. She went to work and I got a call at 11 PM to pick her up because her car was dead. Our insurance sent out a tow. The car is destroyed! I had just had the car checked out a week before (oil change, etc.) and it was fine and running good. I am now waiting on results from the mechanic as to what possibly happened. This company is a joke I have watched them drop cars down a hill they towed my boyfriends car for being parked over two lines and it wasn't. When we went to pick his truck up we watch them drag a car that's wheels were locked up. They have terrible customer service and they broke stuff on our truck so after we paid the ridiculous amount to get it out we went to a shop. Don't go here unless you want to pay more to get more stuff fixed. read more

Do not use this company if you need a tow and have an expensive car or one you'd hate to see damaged! They throw drivers in off the street with limited training, who will damage your car due to a lack of experience (note driver admitted to this!) and\or to working long hours! I believe in giving 2nd chances; however, after stating they would take care of the damages to my car as the driver admitted to the mistake\damage, they have since screened all calls and emails regarding the cost to repair the damage. Their business practices need work as well as their drivers knowledge of how to properly tow vehicles, if requesting tow from AAA, you have the right to request another company. read more

My van died on me in a really creepy pay of town. After getting a taxi home I called AAA to have them meet my husband. Michael came and told my husband he didn't need to wait, to just go ahead and head home. After he got to the house with the van he tried really hard to get it into our uphill driveway.
