I texted them for a tow and then my phone died. Ten minutes later a beautiful state-of-the-art tow truck showed up. They tried to call back, and when it didn't go through came to my rescue anyway. The tow truck had a great hookup and a hydraulic comfy passenger seat. He was really nice, polite, and calm, during a time of high stress for me. PA Towing totally saved me! I had a tire fly into the NB Lane of the Glen Jackson Bridge and it totaled my car. They came and got me safely off the road and to the shop in less than 15 minutes. The driver even called my husband (who called to arrange the tow) to let him know I was ok and where I was at. Very professional and caring. I called PA Towing today because my car battery was apparently dead, and I had a very important doctor appointment at the hospital about 1/2 hour or more north from my house, when I discovered that my car would not start at all. I have had this problem before a few times and had to call someone for jump starts, even though my battery is fairly new, and my lights to my knowledge were not left on, as all of these incidents were in daylight hours. I thought that maybe my hand was somehow accidentally hitting the light switch handle which is very close to the left side of the steering wheel. So, the mystery was solved today! I called my auto insurance for a recommendation of new excellent rated towing companies as I have had nightmare experiences with some incompetent companies in my recent past. My insurance company gave me the names of three companies with excellent ratings. I chose to call PA Towing, and it was my lucky day. Not only did they come to my house almost instantly, but they found out that the problem had nothing to do with my headlight arm switch at all! It turned out, from the beginning of his exam, that the problem was completely due to the faulty battery connection! (NO one else from ANY of the other companies I had called before EVER bothered to check the battery connection, which was the first thing that PA's did)! So, it seems that the past few battery jump starts I've had to get were actually because of the bad battery connection piece and not due to my maybe bumping the headlight arm switch. I have been getting my car serviced at a 4 star company in Portland for 9 years, and somehow they were totally unaware of the faulty battery connection piece, after all this time and all the standard auto service appointments I have had with them. I would also like to add that not only was the owner of "PA Towing" at my house in just a very few minutes, but that he was a very kind, pleasant and professional person, who obviously takes great pride in his company, and the quality of his services. I HIGHLY recommend PA Towing, over and above any other possible towing company. If in the future, I ever need a jump start, tow, need fuel, or have a lockout I will ONLY call PA TOWING. Yesterday I picked up my car from the mechanics, after taking it in for a brake inspection. Within 2 miles my car was excessively steaming from the engine bay. I was forced to pull over in a nearby parking lot. I was on my way to work & beyond upset. I called numerous local towing companies for quotes. I decided to use PA Towing. They were straightforward, AFFORDABLE, fast, and KIND. With all the car stress of yesterday, I accidentally gave the wrong pickup location. It wasn't just a little off, it was entirely across town! When PA Towing arrived to the location and couldn't find my vehicle, they reached out over phone. I was away from my cell and I didn't answer. For 20+ minutes Pavel from PA Towing was at the incorrect location, I GAVE. When he was finally able to reach me, I felt to stupid for my careless mistake. My wife and I were taking a 1994 XJS Jaguar sports convertible to a repair shop for starter problems on Thursday morning. When leaving I-5 at the Mill Plain exit, my wife went to apply her brakes to slow down as she was following me, things went to hell. The brakes went out, pedal to the floor and she wanted to avoid me as I was in front of her. We were still doing almost freeway speed and slowing down, when things happened very quickly. The car pitched sideways and heading right at a big tree blowing a tire. At the last second hit the bottom of the tree ball and pitched the car air born and turned it 180 degrees landing some ten feet away in the brush. It was a miracle that it stayed upright. Many people stopped to see if they could be of help and was greatly appreciated. Thanks to all those kind citizens!! I needed a toe truck and tried several in the area and told them of my situation but they were all too busy. Being new to the area I was at a little bit of a lose of what to do next. So I did one last try and called PA Towing. A very pleasant fellow answered the phone and I told him my situation. In a very comforting reply he said he would be there in minutes. Upon his arrival he introduced himself as Pavel, shook my hand and assured me everything was going to be alright. He could see I was shaken as I had seen all of this happen in my rearview mirror. He took full control of the situation and took every precaution in loading the car. When he delivered the car to where it needed to go we settled our account at a very reasonable rate. Needed my car towed from WSU campus area in Vancouver, Wa to the Volvo Dealership in Portland Oregon. Speed's Towing wanted $180. Chapelle's Towing wanted $200. PA did it for $125. This is a family owned & operated business, a father & 2 sons, no employees. Pavel showed up, impecably dressed in the company uniform within a half hour in a fine looking flatbed, had the car on the bed in 10 minutes & down to Portland in 20. He was very considerate of the car, taking extra precaution that it didn't scrape on the driveway as he loaded it up or getting it off.
