    Texas Patty Melt
    Grace W.

I think they are understaffed. We went for dinner on a Thursday night during our trip to Catskills, it was full house with just one waitress working. We waited for a looong time for service and food. Despite the wait, they do served up pretty solid food. We got the soup which was quite salty but the Texas Patty Melt (burger) and Pesto Chicken Sandwich was tasty and flavorful. Causal joint with a full bar, even the waitress was by herself but she's pleasant and really nice. I suggest to go early to avoid dinner crowd and the wait ;p

    Blueberry French toast special

The staff here was very friendly. My daughter got the hot chocolate for kids but it had too much sweets on top... next time, I would probably ask them to leave off the whipped cream and marshmallows so it wouldn't ruin her appetite for her main meal. Kids got the chicken fingers lunch, and order of bacon. I got the blueberry French toast which I really like. My bow got the regular French toast. We also got a pot of the French press. My favorite was the French press and I did like my blueberry French toast. I wish they had pizza during this brunch hour as I believe my sunwood have eaten more pizza than he did. Chicken fingers. Was very quiet that morning and the setting was very calm.

We visited Chappie's while staying in Roxbury. It's located at the center of a very small town and Main St. There are just 2-3 restaurants in town, but they definitely don't slack on the quality of the food. The smoked trout appetizer is excellent, as are the fries - they are made fresh from real potatoes and not frozen. The menu is better-than-casual gastropub fare (burgers/sandwiches, artisanal pizzas, salads, wings, apps, and a couple of entrees) - pretty simple but done well, and we enjoyed our burgers. Service was great.

I visited Chappie's on a Saturday night so it was definitely extremely busy but it was a little shocking that we made a dinner reservation for 5:45pm and I don't think we were served any food until after 7pm. The food was INCREDIBLE though, I have to say everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great, my group enjoyed everything we ordered. Lighting was nice and dim, a little cramped overall but the food was so good, it makes sense so many people want to eat there!

Excellent BLT. Staff was very friendly. I had to get takeout because they were closing. Next time I'll get there earlier.

chicken pesto pizza (pizza of the day) and goat cheese salad with hangar steak

We were in town to get away from the city before the summer kicked off. Lucky for us, Chappies is one of the only restaurants open before Thursday, so automatic bonus points for availability. We had popped in for an early dinner so we could enjoy the sunset in town afterward. We were quickly seated at any table we desired, as the indoor dining space was mostly empty sans a group of 4 in the back. Service was quick, pacing of the meal was fine. Select local beers on tap. Brief but exciting menu. Started with the wings, because why not, and the goat cheese salad with hangar steak. Finished off with the pizza of the day (chicken pesto) and sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Wings were a little overcooked and undersauced, but nothing a little buffalo sauce on the side can't fix. The goat cheese was super tangy and steak was perfectly medium cooked. The pizza was fantastic and a testament to always hearing out the daily specials. The sticky toffee pudding was an instant classic dessert.

Can't recommend this place (and Roxbury) enough. Stopped in for lunch on the way home after hiking randomly... Great service/great food. Fries could maybe have been cooked for 2 mins longer and at a slightly higher temp eg crisper.... But every thing else was perfect so can hardly complain. We didn't have desert but we saw the carrot cake at another table.... And if we could of, we would of.

As the only restaurant in Roxbury (currently), Chappies enjoys a distinct competitive advantage. As such the place can get very crowded so reservations are recommended. (We learned this after waiting awhile to be seated during our first visit). Chappie's is a fairly small place with pubby decor and an outdoor deck facing the main road. We ate indoors both times b/c all outdoor spots were taken, and honestly the room temperature was uncomfortably warm. Our friendly server Rob did his best to deal with the hungry hordes. Loved Chappies' version of regional specialty smoked Catskill trout, served with crusty bread and grainy mustard. Their brick oven pizzas are authentic and scrumptious; I especially savored the white shrimp and bacon pizza topped with fresh arugula. Organic greens with chicken was a nice lunch option too. Chappies' beer and wine menu is just OK. We were told the dinner menu is more extensive on weekends but we weren't there to check it out. Very good experience overall, will try them again once COVID-era short staffing issues are resolved (a common problem in this area now).

Family service, delivery was good, food came as ordered. I wish they had more fresh options. A good spot if you're in a bind...

The service was wonderful, with the owner and an employee willing to answer any questions, and the ambiance was so warm and welcoming. I can't wait to stop by again!

I found Tay Tea after a friend recommended it and I stalked their website, and wow... I'm so glad I…read moreactually went in person. It's not just a tea shop - it's a world of tea, clothing, apothecary goodies, all in one space and a true hidden gem in Delhi, NY. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by Nini, an absolute ray of sunshine. Talking to her is like getting a warm hug, but don't get it twisted - she is not a pushover. Once she knows you, she'll give you gentle reality checks when you need them. She keeps it real, no fluff, and she's so authentically herself that it's inspirational. This is her tea shop, and you can instantly feel how much hard work, love, and energy she pours into everything. She has an insane variety of tea - not just a couple basics. There are hand-blended signature teas and straight organic single-note teas: floral Persian Rose, rich black teas like Duchess' First Love, fun names like Better Than Sex, plus soothing herbal, rooibos, and classic teas for purists. My top two picks were Azul (Blue Butterfly Pea Flowers, lemon verbena, lemongrass) and Catskills Harvest (apple, sumac, rosehips, hibiscus, lemon verbena, wild roses). Azul is amazing iced, and with a splash of apple juice it's even more delicious. There's a huge tea bar counter where you can taste teas while you're there. I sat at the bar, trying different teas while talking with Nini as she explained what was in each one, what it's good for, and the intention or story behind it. She also has coffee, which was delightful, and I completely forgot to buy some... another reason to go back. She also sells baked goods and food like empanadas (so good), and from our conversation it seems everything is gluten-free and vegan, which is phenomenal if you have dietary stuff going on but still want treats. After my tea-tasting session, I checked out the tea section and that's where you really see the variety. There are testers everywhere so you can open, smell, and see exactly what's in each blend. Everything is loose-leaf and every package has the ingredients listed on the front so you know exactly what you're getting. I asked Nini a ton of questions - including personal health things - and asked what she thought would be best for me after I had already picked out my selections. She is clearly not just in this to make sales. Instead of pushing me to buy everything, she paused and gave thoughtful, intentional suggestions. She speaks from a real, genuine place and cares about every customer who walks in. She helped me choose products for my stomach and for sleep, on top of what I'd already picked, and I never felt pushed or pressured - just supported and understood. Once I finished picking my tea, I wandered through the rest of the store. They have a plethora of other things - clothing, gifts, apothecary and self-care items - and that's when I started talking to Jean, the other person working there. Jean greets you with open arms and has a strong, courageous, resilient spirit. Just like Nini, she genuinely cares about the people who walk in. I asked about her favorite products, she showed me her go-tos, and of course I bought one of her favorites because I love trying what other people are obsessed with. By the time I was done shopping, I didn't just have tea - I also had other products, including a magnesium foot cream for relaxation and sleep, plus some balms and other goodies. Then I went back to the tea bar and sat with both Nini and Jean. We shared stories, talked more, and went way past basic small talk. My favorite thing about them - and this shop - is that they do not stay on the surface. They care about genuine conversation, speak from the heart, and they're not just there to sell you something. The whole store radiates good energy because they are the heart of it, creating that beautiful energy that fills the space. If you're open to deeper conversation, they will match that and give you a real connection and an experience that's much better than the usual "Hi, how are you, okay bye" retail nonsense. None of that mumbo-jumbo here. Nini and Jean have knowledge and truly care about their customers. They have your health and best interests in mind. By the time I left, it honestly felt like they were family. This business is run by an amazing woman who has done incredible things and is now sharing her passion with the world, and you can feel that in every product she creates. Jean is creating alongside her - Nini built this business, and Jean is a shining star in it as well. They balance and amplify each other in the best way. I am extremely satisfied with my visit, and their products are phenomenal. You will not find better quality or a more heartfelt, intentional experience anywhere else. Between the tea bar, hand-blended teas, fashion and apothecary items, baked goods, empanadas, and the way they pour into every person who walks in, this place is truly special. I genuinely cannot recommend this shop more
