Like many other reviewers I agree that there are much better burger places not far from this location. My burger was dry and crispy unlike others that were greasy. FAILURE. Against my better judgment, and wanting to please my dad, we ordered two turkey burgers online for pickup. They had different toppings and that is all we ordered. My dad went to pick them up and when he got home we found the young employee had given him the wrong order!!! We had to drive back over there to get the issue resolved. I spoke with "Sam", who I was told was/is the supervisor. I asked for the manager and was told "Savans" was not there. "Sam" looked somewhat confused and naive while being apologetic. I told her that staff there have made mistakes with our order several times in the past and I wanted her to "make the situation right." She indicated she would issue a credit (but could not give me any sort of receipt). I cannot speak for my dad because he lives in Keller, is a picky eater, and there are very limited dining options in town (I live in San Antonio and lived in Austin before that, and Keller has nothing in comparison). I will NEVER eat or order anything from Chapps again. The staff are either poorly trained, apathetic, or a combination of both. Perhaps a responsible adult manager or supervisor onsite would help? It has been a long time since my last review, so doing a refresh. :) A good spot for high quality beef burgers; much better than fast food type burger places. Good fresh vegetables as well. Stopped by hear this weekend due to the hype I've heard on Yelp, and of course I took the bait. The establishment is clean, and restrooms were clean, so that is a plus. Customer service was ok, nothing special. Ordered the 2 Baby Chapps, one order of fries, and 2 drinks, and for that, it was over $30? I really was expecting a burger that was out of this world, and this burger was as plain as fast food. I'll even admit, that the presentation of the burger was great, but it really fell flat on flavor. Thank goodness for the rest of the toppings on this burger. I read a yelp review that this burger house was mouthwatering? The only mouthwatering performance on this Chapps visit was me when my mouth stayed open looking at the bill. I guess these days, your going to have to expect shelling out extra on mediocre meals, and have your bank gouged. I suppose this does qualify as "gourmet burgers", even though I still tend to at least personally put on the extra-top end of fast food burgers, just 'cuz it's counter service. But that's just "classifying", it's super good. And if you're like me and occasionally in the mood for something less beefy, I not only really like their turkey burgers, and even their veggie patties, that I'll come specifically for it. I almost never give a one review. Tonight was a horrible show of customer service for Chapps. My wife and I came out of a late appointment one block over and walked into Chapps at exactly 8:50pm. Now I'm usually the guy that hates walking in late but we both really wanted a good burger. There was still people eating and an Open sign on because they close at 9pm. We stood at the counter with a young man for 5 minutes and he was taking our order. I sensed that he was nervous and found out why when he took my credit card to pay. The nerve of this kid to take my credit card then stop (it's now 8:55pm) and say "we close at 9 and it's my brothers birthday today can we make it to go for you". I may be old school but this is really bad business. We turned around and walked out and will never step foot in again. I certainly hope this is isn't the way management teaches them. read more

There are fewer options than some other places and the fries are good (but not the very best), but it's just so reliable! I've taken guests before and all six people so far have approved. Friendly service, good burger, yummy sides. As an ambassador to Goodstock by Nolan Ryan, they have quality - high concern for animal welfare - beef, which comes with a price. UPDATE: I just scrolled through the reviews and notes the business owner commenting their default done-ness for burgers is MEDIUM WELL. If this is not to your liking, let them know at as you order. I tried Chaps 10 years ago when it was at the old location. Never went back. I figured it's been awhile and they have a new location, I'll give it a try. Place is clean and bright. The burger was uninspired and overcooked. They flagged it with a Nolan Ryan Beef flag: I'll pass if this is what his beef is like. I ordered the burger with onions and they put fried onions on it, not raw. Not sure if this is their default or if it was a mistake by the counter person. The fries were like little pieces of fries. I've never been to Chapps in my life. The other day we happened to be shopping at the town center, and it happened to be dinner time, so we happened on in. Two of us had the baby Chapps combo and the hungry teenager had the regular burger and fries. Everything was fresh and tasty. We visited this new location for the first time. It was good, not great. The location in North Richland Hills is way better based on this visit. Not kid approved! First time here. My burger was good. But they don't have kids burgers. Instead the choice is chicken or grilled cheese. My 5 year old got grilled cheese. I thought it was a decent enough burger. They are not offering dine in due to Covid, but the food was made to order and came out in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the small chapps combo which came with a smaller hamburger and a side of fries. It was $.8.42 after tax and was plenty of food- larger than a kid's meal which is what I thought it was. The food was fresh, flavorful and hot. I liked that you can make it your own with a variety of toppings. Reminded me of 5 guys, but half the cost. My friend ordered bacon as an add on and they totally forgot it and trying to get condiments was a hassle and not provided but only available upon request which is annoying. Keller Favorite. Just made another stop at Chapps recently and was reminded what a good burger they have. A thick, juicy, Nolan Ryan beef burger with plenty of good topping choices and well-fried, but tender fresh cut fries. I'll admit though, my favorite is their Big Dog with Chili and Cheese! A lightly toasted bun, what must be an all-beef hot dog and then great tasting chili with melted cheese, grilled onions and mustard to put it over the top!
