It's been about a year since our last physical visit in the store! Cleanliness was good this time. Service and food were to my satisfaction. The Parmesan truffles fries hit the spot. Even though the more you ate the saltier it got?! But it still was fine for me with the burger. Today I got the wagyu special (can't remember the exact name but it had the green box around it) I believe it's the Cadillac Wagyu and then husband got the wagyu smash. Gotta get that soda to go with the meal. Overall great experience for me. I had to wait for my food to settle once we killed every bite before saying I wanted more cause it definitely kept me filled the rest of the night (starting at 5pm). Shout out to all the employees they took great care of us and the food was great. But honestly, I didn't care about all of that because all I could focus on was how close I was how close I was sitting next to somebody else! Boyfriend review: I got the Ahi Tuna burger w/ hot honey sage fries. Both were delicious! Service good, not outstanding or terrible. Atmosphere is good as well. This restaurant was suggested to us by a local business so we figured we would try it out. Hopdoddy has unique twists on burger and protein bowls they have walk up and order system we were given plenty of time to read the menu which is a available to hold. My husband ordered truffle fries to share - you get these as a appetizer or request that it be with your meal there's enough to share with two or three people. He then ordered the Diablo burger (not pictured) and I ordered a classic cheeseburger I asked for the sauces to be on the side. The have various drinks available teas, Coca~Cola products and etc. Once you order they tell you which table to sit at. BTW they are a cashless store so make sure you bring you cards or phone to pay. We happen to be given 11. It was a booth that could probably sit 6 average size people. The booth was comfortable and super clean they have the table number hanging on the paper towel holder on the tabletop. Drink stations are just before you go to the tables there is a nice bar in the middle of the room. It took a few minutes to get our food which is fine wouldn't have expected this place to be a fast food joint. Like we asked they brought our fries with our meals. Husband enjoyed the Diablo burger was expecting it to be a bit warmer but he said it had great flavor. I had a good ole classic burger I wasn't sure about the Doddy Mayo so I asked for it on the side along with mustard, ketchup and regular mayo. The Doddy mayo was pretty good I am assuming that it's like a Dijon mayo but it was good I dipped my burger in all three Staff was really friendly and answered any questions we had. The interior is spacious and they also have outdoor seating. They have a bar area towards the back. My friend and our little ones opted for outdoor seating. The lady that took our orders was patient and friendly. They have a few items on their kids' menu. I ordered a cheeseburger for my little one which included fries and a drink in the combo. My friend ordered their Truffle Brussels, which included truffle oil, Parmesan cheese, chives with truffle aioli. 5/5 They were so tasty that I'm craving some whole I'm writing this. Hehe he I ordered El Diablo which included pepper jack cheese, jalapenos & habaneros, caramelized onions, spicy verde, lettuce, tomato & chipotle aioli sauce. It was fiery and delicious. So my 16 year old son is huge fan. I wanted to see what all his hype was about... He must get his taste buds from his Mom because I would have never picked you all simply on price alone. You need to try these hamburgers, especially if you can stand a very slight amount of pink (you can always tell them no pink, etc). One of, if not the best hamburgers in Ft Worth. Always a good time. All the food is great. Healthy and quality ingredients. Gluten free options available. This Santorini bowl is where it's at! I've had everything here, literally and the burger bowls and sweet potato fries are the best! I don't even particularly care for sweet potatoes fries either but theirs are in a league all its own. So flavorful. The regular burgers are amazing but i typically go for low carb options personally. Service is fast, friendly and it's a great spot to take the family and enjoy beautiful weather. The seating is typically 4-6 ppl per table/booth. If you purchase a drink, you receive a cup to go to the drink fountain where the condiments are also located for self-service. Once you are seated at your designated table, the server will bring you your food possibly in the order of fries before burger (or entrée). The Buffalo Sandwich was great! There were plenty of available spacious seating. Let's dive into the best part - food galore. As I get older, I've converted from being a pizza gal to a burger gal. Hopdoddy just makes a mean burger. I love their goodnight burger. The bbq sauce and caramelized onions just hit the spot. It's been a minute since I've eaten spicy food, so the jalapeño gave me a pleasant surprise. I probably need to hold the jalapeños on my poor spicy tolerance day. Getting the parmesan truffle fries is a must! My hubby was going to get two orders of this. Good thing I stopped him. One order of the truffle fries was shareable and more than enough. The truffle aioli was so addicting. Between the two of us, we ate a good amount of fries, but there was still a little leftover. Disappointing, after seeing so many positive reviews. The burgers were unseasoned meat drowning in way too much sauce. The fries were all right. The burger called "Good Night" or something like that just wasn't good. The Classic was a bit better. But out of the four of us only one of us finished their burger. On top of that, this is one of those restaurants that has zero sound absorption, so it was extremely loud. We couldn't even hear the waiter speaking when he was trying to figure out whose food was whose -- not even those of use with young ears. My first foray into this brand was in Austin, and the place was big and the burgers were good. This location is a bit smaller, and I believe the menu is a bit smaller as well. The other location had more burgers on the list, specialty type gourmet burgers, this location didn't have all of those variations. They did have a lot of variations with he fries! Truffle fries, sweet potato fires, etc. All very good. Had the double bacon jam burger today, was very good. Good and messy as well. The plain fries are good, very slim, like shoestring fries. Comes out in a metal bowl, tho they bring them before the burger. Set up is a bit different, there are tables all around that have numbers hanging on a hook. This just labels the table, but at check out, which you go through a line to order first, then you pick a table from view, and they assign that table to you order. So pick wisely when you walk in, or grab a table before going to place your order. Strange system. Staff was ok. Wasn't overly friendly, tho not rude either. Just very quick in their interaction, even tho it wasn't busy. Then there is the tip thing, where you tip at the counter when you pay for the order, before you even get any service! So tired of seeing this tip issue before any service is even given, not to mention the only service received is the delivery of the food. The staff doesn't check on you, they don't see if you need anything, nor do they refill drinks, the drink system is open bar and you fill it yourself. So I'm not sure what we are tipping for. Music today was a bit loud in my opinion. The place wasn't even at half capacity, and with the music, it was difficult to have a conversation. Praise the Lord for Hopdoddy! We are so glad y'all put a location closer than Euless. We were sad the vid took out the Southlake location in 2020. Hopdoddy hits all the sweet, salty, crunchy and smoothness one needs. They have the healthiest gluten free buns anywhere too; even tho they burnt mine the other day. They've only been open for a week, so I give them grace. (They took over Grub burger that resided here.) Hopdoddy burgers are delicious and always perfectly cooked. My favorites are the Llano Poblano, Magic Shroom, and the Classic. The El Diablo is good too, but that spicy aioli is fire so watch out. The truffle fries are legit. My husband craves them. Crazy enough, the sweet potato fries Trump them. They are soft and crunchy, served with a honey spicy sauce that rocks. Whatever you do, don't forget a shake. They are not on a menu at this location as of yet, but the bar makes them. If you are full, take it to go. You're welcome. The only thing I would change is the noise. It's loud.
