Went on a Thursday night about 7:30. TLDR: It's typical Mexican-American food. It's nothing to write home about, but it's consistent with my expectations. I was seated quickly and was brought some chips and salsa roja. The seats definitely need reupholstering as my booth was a little threadbare. The salsa roja was pleasantly spicy with definite notes of onion and cilantro. Not really chunky but it didn't sog out the chips either. Senor Taco's is definitely better. It was about ten minutes before my waitress came to greet me, but once I put in my order, she had my drink out very quickly and the same with the food. My margarita wasn't particularly strong but it tasted decent. I couldn't taste any real lime though. I ordered the beef taco, enchilada and Spanish rice. Everything was overcooked - the beef, the rice, and the tortillas. The flavors were good, but it ddn't blow my mind either. The waitress stopped by a couple times to check on me - and made sure my mouth wasn't full when she did so. That's a huge bonus in my book. One of my favorite Mexican spots in Senoia! There is a lot of similar restaurants in the area, but I find this one to be most authentic. Always very quick and friendly service from staff! They have great combo options along with other great meal options. Price is very affordable. Cheese dip and chips were amazing- not all restaurants have good chips and dip! I choose this location over other modernized Mexican restaurants : definitely a hole in the wall! read more

If you are looking for a fancy hip Mexican restaurant this is not it. This is an old, tired, rundown, family owned cantina. It screams authentic Mexican. The tables are worn, The paint is chipped. etc. I could easily see this place in the middle of East L.A. The silverware and tables were spotless. The salt and pepper shakers are clearly wiped clean daily. The music is tuned to festive Mexican and Ranchero music. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. This place will even modify your meal to accommodate your tastes. The drinks? Weak. I wondered if there was actually alcohol in my frozen margarita. All in all it was a positive experience. You just have to look past the tired decor. I saw another review comment on the bathrooms needing cleaning. I did NOT visit the bathroom so I can't confirm or deny that. read more

We had eaten at the Chapultepec in Tyrone and liked their food. We wanted to try someplace at least marginally different but assumed maybe this one (being within 10 miles of the other location) was related. After dining here, I'm not so sure. We arrived on a Saturday before 6 p.m. The restaurant is on GA 16 a mile or so north of Senoia. They are at one end of a strip mall, and there is plenty of shared parking. There are several adjoining strip malls here, so even if you miss the first entrance off the main road, you can take another one and double back. We were seated promptly. The menu here was different than the one in Tyrone, hence my questioning whether they are related at all. Their food was okay and the service was friendly (more so than some other nearby Mexican places), but it is somewhat further to drive for us. It would have to be a real stand-out (on some index) to merit us driving past multiple other Mexican places to come back. If you live in or are visiting the Senoia area, this is worth stopping by. read more

We are regulars here! I don't like to eat out much or try new places nowadays because service is usually terrible and good food is a hit or miss. We come to Chapultepec several times a month because the service is constantly amazing, fast, and food is always great. Their salsa is my favorite, a little smokey and a little spicy kick. If I could give this place a 3.7 Star I would. At first glance, this restaurant looks small from the inside. When you enter you immediately notice the capacity is much larger than expected. The initial greet was confusing, because guests were paying as they leave and guests were waiting to be spoken to and be seated at the same time. The wait on a Friday around 5:00 p.m. was minimal max 5minutes. That was awesome. We were immediately given menus (they were filthy) and need a good disinfectant wipe down after each use. The bathrooms were not as clean as they could have been either. We were greeted with chips and salsa quickly and minutes later greeted by one of our servers. We ordered The Mexican Guacamole (our server reassured us everything was made in house). Another server arrived a minute later and took our order. Luckily, we knew what we wanted that fast. The Guacamole arrived and it was delicious. It tasted so fresh!! Not too long after we finished our appetizer our food arrived. It was hot and ready to eat. I ordered the Trio with Flauta, Burrito and Tostado. My Flauta was incredibly crispy almost burnt and my tostada soggy, but everything else was very tasty. Overall, the food was ok for all parties involved. We will come back and give this place another try, but they need to give a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant, food presentation and their checking in/checking out process. read more

I hare giving low reviews- but I feel compelled on this one. The service was absolutely fantastic and they were friendly- however the food was an absolute miss. This place is terrible! The food was absolutely the worst mexican food I have ever been served. Three Tacos with a mealy texture for meat tasted like it was mostly beans. Each one had nothing but a little lettuce and a teaspoon of white cheese. You can get better Tacos at Taco bell for much less. My wife's Taco salad was just a larger version of my Tacos, the only difference was it had Guacamole on it which was terrible. We were charged around seventeen dollars for about four dollars worth of food. Two dollars and fifty cents for sweet tea? Really? I had to look around two of three times because I thought we were being Punk'd. I would not recommend this place, and will not be returning. You've been warned. Just Wow! read more

Went here once a few years ago and didn't plan on returning. A family member picked here to eat today... it was awful. We were here over two hours because the service was so slow. Our table was completely wobbly. We were told they don't have coloring sheets for kids. We were given chips/ salsa immediately but no napkins. The chips were stale and the salsa was not at all spicy and was extremely watery. Our server didn't greet us for over 5 minutes. It took another ten minutes after that to get our drinks. The cheese dip wasn't the best, but wasn't awful. The staff wore masks but they got SOOO close to me every time they came to the table. ConstAntly reaching over me to sit things down/ pick things up. Drink refills from both the bar and for regular soft drinks took forever to get. Our order took a long time to come out. One person was missing their entree. By the time she received it others were completely done eating. Someone else was missing a portion of their meal and didn't get it until they were basically done eating their food. Our food came out and was dried out and like warm. It definitely say in the window for a bit before getting brought out, and when it was brought out they rolled it out on a roller tray ! Not a food tray! Some of the food was on the bottom of the tray which was inches from the floor. Let me say, I worked in the restaurant industry for over 12 years and this place was not sanitary and was not following proper practices. I'm afraid to see their health score and if I wasn't eating it with a group of 8 I wouldn't have eaten there at all. I hate leaving bad reviews. But eating here seriously Grossed me out ... and that is hard to do. My mom And I ordered a small cheese dip to pour over our food because ours was so dry, and it came out half empty. I had ordered a togo for my boyfriend and the tiny salsa container wasn't even full when we opened it. It was the tiniest container and was so empty. Definitely will NOT eat here again. I will say another review said it was expensive, I actually think it's cheap. But the reason is probably because it's awful so it's they have to be cheap in order to get business ? read more

Visited the place cause of a friend working there overall service was excellent!! I loved that the guacamole is literally homemade and cheese dip is to!! I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes which is my favorite dish at a Mexican Restaurant! Very good the beef was very well seasoned the chicken was a little tough but with the sauce it made it eatable. I also had the house margarita which was only $3 which was delicious. Overall good place very quiet. I went around 3pm when they are slow. read more

I decided to give this place a try yesterday. I got steak fajitas I knew when it came out it didn't look good. It was tough steak and lots of raw onions. I didnt feel good driving home from this place and boy did I pay for it last night. I got food poisoning and bad. I was up night and I am still in bed I feel so sick. I have never had it this bad. I ordered salsa and cheese dip, got it to go, the total was $16.06. I did not leave a tip and signed receipt. They added a tip of $4.00 themselves to my receipt which is steeling.
