    Porterhouse for Three (48oz)

Food was good but not worth the $$$. Idk, I was expecting more for that kind of money. To add to the ambiance we had a couple call over the manager to complain about the waitress for petty little things like bringing the food too early. Next time I spend that kind of money I'll just go elsewhere.

Everything was great but our server could have been a little more enthusiastic. The tables next to us had a server with a lot of energy. He told them of all the specials and sides while our server was very quiet and more to the point. I ordered the surf and turf medium which was excellent and my boyfriend said his burger was the best he ever had. We also shared a loaded baked potatoe qnd the corn for our sides. The corn was soooo yummy and tasted so fattening. It was my Dad's birthday so we shared a banana bread pudding which was quite tasty. It was definitely a good meal and we will be back for a special occasion.

It's been a while since I've been back. The renovations are beautiful. The outdoor area is perfect. The service was quick. The wait staff was very attentive. I attended a bridal shower. For appetizers we had gnocchi. The sauce had a spicy kick. It was delicious. We had a Cesar salad and then the main meal. I had the chicken milanese with arugula, tomatoes, and mozzarella. The chicken was tender. It was a large piece of chicken. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie with ice cream. The brownie was gooey and tender. The food was plated elegantly. Making it appealing to the eye. I ordered a lemon drop martini. The alcohol and lemon juice were perfectly balanced. I can't wait to come back and try other menu items.

This was my first time trying a Char restaurant! There are a couple in New Jersey. At first we were sat near the bar and it was very loud, but then a hostess came by to move us without us asking - it's like they read my mind which was nice lol. We got sat in the back instead in the more formal dining room. We got the crab cocktail, Asiago truffle fries, kung pao Brussels sprouts, porterhouse for two and the sea salt chocolate chip Nutella cookies for dessert with chocolate gelato. For drinks I got a strawberry basil mocktail which was so yummy and a glass of Argentinian Malbec wine. Our server was great - so friendly, chatty, enthusiastic and personable which is so welcoming at a restaurant. The crab cocktail was so fresh. The Brussels sprouts had such a nice flavor to them. The fries could've used more of a crisp in my opinion but still had a yummy taste. I love a more crisp fry with steak. The porterhouse was delightful! There were some tough pieces in the meat that I couldn't chew but I feel like that always happens. The cookies tasted stale and were dry which was a disappointment ! I was expecting a nice warm and fresh cookie especially for the cost of the dessert.

Had an amazing time here with my family as we celebrated closing on my first home. Nothing better than being surrounded by family and great food. The lamb chops were amazing. Can't wait to come back to try more things that caught my eye on the menu. Top notch service too.

Without a doubt it was 5 Star service and food. The hostesses were awesome and owner, Matteo greeted us and welcomed us. We really enjoyed the perfectly cooked steaks and all side dishes The waitresses and servers were amazing as well. A great high level Steakhouse that is well worth the price.

Food was amazing Steak was amazing But with that being said I sat at the bar for about 2hours And I watch the hostess sit black people In the back near the kitchen every time a black person came in or couple was sat away from the main dining area and seen them sit all the white couples and family In the main dining room I was so disappointed seen it happen over 12 times I'm not even the person that looks for things like this but I did I even waited to see if I was seeing things but it was definitely happening this was disgusting and hurt me to the core I'm extremely upset and hurt I will be seeking legal advice for counseling

The main course was decent, the appetizers were the real stars of the show. Good spot for a large group to gather.

Seafood tower 9.86/10- this was fantastic. Includes lobster, crab meat, tuna tartare, east and west coast oysters, shrimp and clams. All the seafood was so fresh, and their presentation was also great. The condiments were also great, however they didn't include melted butter which would have been great for the lobster. The tuna tartare was also phenomenal, honestly one of the best I've had. It was so fresh and flavorful and I'm not the biggest fan of tuna. The oysters were so good and they give small Tabasco bottles for it which was pretty cute decor. Lobster Mac and cheese 9.94/10- so good, includes bacon, scallions, and truffle. I really liked the breadcrumbs on top as it added texture and lots of flavor too. The pieces of lobster were also huge, and there was a lot. Portion size was also great. The truffle made the Mac and cheese very decadent and rich in flavor, without being overwhelming. The lobster was also definitely buttered in this dish Crab cakes 9.96/10- these crab cakes were so good like close to Gulfstream level. The crab cake was breaded which was a really interesting take but highly complemented it. The crab cakes had huge chunks of crab meat in it. The dish was complemented by fire roasted corn and spicy aoili which gave it a hint of spice. The photo doesn't do justice, we were in a rush my bad. Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em 10/10- this cocktail was excellent. Made with mezcal, Averna, grapefruit licquor, lime, and ginger beer. We were all intrigued and got it lol. Really strong drink, but the ginger beer and like surprisingly balanced it well and it was kind of refreshing too. Highly recommend this steakhouse, they have a pretty extensive menu and you honestly can't go wrong with any of the options on the menu. The service is also great, and they have a wide variety of breads to start off with. Definitely a more intimate restaurant highly recommend. Great start to sidepiece

Too expensive for mediocre food. Ambience is ok, services average. We did like the tiramisu cake.

The ambiance was exactly what you'd hope for from a traditional steakhouse: dark wood, comfortable seating, an impressive wine display, and a lively yet refined dining room. It felt special without being overly formal. We started with fresh oysters, which were cold, clean, and incredibly fresh. The bread basket was also a pleasant surprise and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, the ribeye and filet mignon were cooked perfectly, with a beautiful crust and rich flavor that showcased why Wolfgang's has such a strong reputation. The fries and Brussels sprouts complemented everything nicely. Service started off strong, but once the entrées arrived, it felt like the table was forgotten. I had planned on enjoying a glass of wine with my steak, but despite placing my empty cocktail glass prominently at the edge of the table, no one stopped by to check on us or offer another beverage. By the time I was finally able to get our server's attention and order a glass of wine, I had already finished most of my steak. For a restaurant operating at this level, I'd expect more attentive service throughout the meal. That said, the quality of the food helped make up for the inconvenience. We finished with the molten lava cake, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic dinner. Overall, Wolfgang's delivers where it matters most: outstanding steaks, quality ingredients, and a classic steakhouse atmosphere. With a little more attention to service during the meal, this would easily be a five-star experience.

The planked salmon was well cooked too as picture represents. Server did not ask salmon preparation selection. We each ordered one of the dessert items which are cake or similar in a shot glass with frosting or mousse or some other topping. They were good, again nothing great. No specially prepared sauces for the entrees to make things pop or standout, just basic dinner fare. My wife and I stopped in after meeting my Corvette club for the weekly cruise night in Somerville -- it was the perfect way to cap the evening. We started with the grilled octopus and the crispy calamari. Both were excellent. The calamari is very light. When I used to frequent the lounge on Fridays and Saturdays, if I hadn't had dinner, the calamari hit the spot. The octopus had a good char on it and was tender throughout. For entrees, my wife had the seared ahi tuna special and I went with the pan seared duck breast. Her tuna was cooked perfectly - rare. The duck was well seared on the outside with just the right amount of pink inside. Portions were the right size -- filling without being excessive, which left just enough room to share the chocolate ganache dessert. Got here around 2pm to an empty restaurant so it was nice for my overtired but refuse to nap toddler and my 9 month old daughter who refuses to sit still. Restaurant was very simple with tables along the left side and restrooms on the right. I wouldn't say it's a big place but it's a decent size. Since it was just us, we ordered right away. I got the birria tacos and my husband got the steak enchiladas. Holy birria those tacos were fantastic. The taco shells had just the right amount of crispy softness where it wasn't overly cooked to make it a hard shell. When you bit into it, the juices came out from the other side of my taco and the meted cheese was nice and stringy- if you know what I mean. The meat was cooked perfectly where it wasn't too dry and chewy. I drowned my tacos in the sauce they give you and housed my 3 tacos. It was the perfect amount where I was full after eating but not overly stuffed. My husband loved his steak enchilada. I tried a few bites and I loved the spicy kick to it...so if you're not a spicy eater, I'd skip out on this.
