Delicious thin sliced brisket with homemade gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans.

Outstanding diner that never disappoints. In fact, this is one of the top diners in the area for quality and price. The main chef has been here many years and has trained his crew to cook just like him. They always use quality ingredients and make everything from scratch. Diner impressive. Ordered tasty, thin cut brisket as main meal which included mashed potatoes and green beans or choice of other items. Decent garden salad and complimentary Cole slaw. Great, friendly and fast service. I love coming here.

This is my first time coming here. My husband has eaten here before with some friends. The service was so great. Our waiter was so attentive and quick. We asked for their house made Cole slaw and it was so good. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich with fries and my husband got the chefs salad. The servings were huge. The best part was the food. I will definitely be coming back again.

Delicious biscuits and gravy with home-made hot sauce for my eggs

I just moved near this restaurant and am glad to have this gem of a diner in my neighborhood! I got the biscuits and gravy, my first job was at Ihop...so I take my biscuits seriously! Let me tell you, the Golden Corner biscuits are absolutely delicious! My server Heather was attentive, friendly, and spot on with service. Management up front was friendly and welcoming. The space itself is cozy with a small town local vibe. Truly an authentic Jersey diner. Thank you for the delicious food and awesome service, I look forward to visiting often in the future as your new neighbor!

They took a while to seat us and I wish I could say the food was worth the wait but it was okay! Service was very okay.. our server kept running from us. We were a party of 5.

Excellent Saturday breakfast! Service was outstanding very friendly and personable and my coffee cup was never empty. I haven't been here in quite a while and I'm happy I returned. I had 2 eggs over easy with home fries, scrapple, and rye toast. I love scrapple and I'm always happy when I find it on a menu. My friend had the fresh blueberry pancakes and she said they were outstanding and she enjoyed them very much. I'm very happy to update my review for the great food and service!

I've lived in the vicinity of Golden Corner for many years and for some reason have never been here. Today was my first time here and what a gem! This place is a diner but not your typical diner. I'm a stickler for cleanliness when I go out to eat and this place nailed it. I noticed it right away. It's family owned and operated which I love. The food was regular diner food and don't get me wrong it was excellent but it's not about the food it's about the service at this spot. That means everything. The waitress was super nice and friendly and even introduced me to the owner as this was my first time here. Can't remember the waitresses name or owners name but they were very nice. The staff was friendly with keeping your coffee filled and readily available for anything you needed. I like this place and will be back to possibly try lunch or dinner. I'm sure they won't disappoint!

We had breakfast at the Golden Corner on Sunday morning. It is located on Route 28 in Bound Brook and has a lot of street and off street parking. The place was crowded and we had a short wait. The cashier was referring to the manager as mom, so I'll go out on a limb here and say it's a family run business. It is a typical diner atmosphere and the room was very clean. We were served coffee and tea. My wife had an omelet and I ordered eggs over medium. My eggs were a bit undercooked and runny and the potatoes were cooked with almost no fat or seasoning resulting in very little taste. The very good sausage made up for the rest. My wife got a super good omelet with pieces of bacon and cheese throughout. You made my wife happy so you get a fourth star.

Me halfway through the veggie burger!

Our party was situated downstairs at a nice round table. This really helped us share the seafood tower and pass clams around. Our group ordered the small seafood tower, and it was everything I could have dreamed of. It had a little bit of everything. The presentation was flawless. I am still in awe of the lobster. Dinner was also very good. Just about everyone ordered something different, and we left pretty happy. The only issue was the music. I don't know if this is the case for the entire restaurant, but the downstairs had bouncy ukulele covers for the entirety of our time there. It was also a bit too loud. I felt like I had to get up to hear someone sitting a few people away from me, or speak too loud to for shared space because there's a bouncy ukulele covers of Without You by The Kid LAROI. (No, that's not an embellishment. That actually played.) All in all, we had a great time, great food, in a beautiful space. Natalie was a very attentive service. But please, maybe some different music?

My Favorite Go-To Spot -- Always a 10/10 Experience!…read more I've been to Lukas Seafood & Grille probably four times now, and it's hands down one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Every single visit is consistently amazing -- from the moment you sit down to the last bite of dessert, everything is flawless. Service & Atmosphere: As soon as you're seated, they bring out fresh, cold water and warm bread with olive paste and butter -- it's so good and such a perfect start to the meal. The service here is impeccably fast -- nothing stays on the table for more than five minutes, and every course comes out perfectly timed. The staff is professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is beautiful -- cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and their covered outdoor area is a total win. It's warm, inviting, and perfect for evenings when you want that open-air feeling without worrying about the weather. Food: Every dish I've tried here has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. We started with the crab cake appetizer -- crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside, served with a creamy sauce and lemon slices. The seafood pasta was packed with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari in a rich tomato broth that tasted incredibly fresh and balanced. The chicken entrée with mashed potatoes and asparagus was tender and juicy, topped with a light buttery sauce that tied everything together. Each plate is thoughtfully presented with a decorative flower and herbs -- not edible, but a nice elegant touch that makes the dishes look restaurant-quality in every way. Drinks & Dessert: The drinks and wine here are fantastic! My berry cocktail was refreshing, fruity, and gorgeous -- garnished with mint and fresh strawberries. For dessert, we had the tres leches cake and the crème brûlée. Both were incredible -- the tres leches was creamy, rich, and soaked just right, while the crème brûlée had that perfect caramelized crust and soft, custardy center. Everything at Lukas Seafood & Grille tastes fresh and made with care. The service is fast, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is warm and elegant. Whether you're on a date night, celebrating something special, or just want an amazing dinner -- this place never disappoints.

The planked salmon was well cooked too as picture represents. Server did not ask salmon preparation selection. I wanted to try something from the lunch menu, after asking an employee, I was told that lunch starts at 11:30am. So I came back around that time to order. I've been seeing their Big Mack Smash on social media for some time now, and it looks delicious. So I decided to I order their single patty Big Mack Smash, with angus meat and American cheese, on a plant based white bun. I don't care for sesame seeds on buns, and there was no option for a regular burger bun (without sesame seeds), so I chose the non sesame seed vegan bun. I also ordered a side of fries with garlic aioli. The plant based white bun was a little dry and the burger patty was also dry and did not have much flavor. Maybe I should have done a double patty for the burger, since it is a smashed patty and a little too thin for my liking. I felt like I was eating a dry burger bun with mostly lettuce, an occasional pickle and the Mack sauce. I probably will not order the garlic aioli again, it had a sweeter and nutty flavor to it, and I prefer more of a savory aioli. I used to order their Blackened salmon with a side of greens and Spanish rice in their BBQ Ranch flavor style, from their old menu. I do miss that meal, it was so flavorful with the crispy onions to top everything off. But I understand that they made the change to better suit the business and cut back on waste. I probably would not order the big Mack burger again. But I will definitely be back to try something else from the new menu. I've been a customer for over 6 years, and have introduced some of my family members and friends to this restaurant, and we've enjoyed our meals here for that time. I love that there are many vegan and vegetarian options here. Although I am neither, it's a great place for those who have dietary restrictions/preferences. Hopefully I find my new go to menu item soon, but in the meantime I will be ordering and trying many of the other new menu items. This is definitely the place to come if you don't want a typical vegan meal. You'd be like a kid in a candy store, with the amount of options that are here. They also have many non vegan options. Turf, Surf and Earth serves EVERYONE and that is their biggest positive!
