"Europe," and it's off the Pasta menu. It's fusilli pasta tossed in a buttery garlic Alfredo white wine sauce and mixed vegetables.

Small, 'hole-I'm-the wall joint with outstanding food. We will be back! A week later, we came back...SO goood!

Over and beyond our expectations! After a brief walk through the restaurant we were taken away by the beautiful outdoor garden setting and made a reservation as we were having a family celebration in a few days. We were told they were closed on Sunday; however, after a chat they said they could open up the restaurant just for the 12 of us, for a nominal deposit. Appetizers of ceviche and guacamole, all 12 entrees were enjoyed (I had the isla de pasion ) and dessert of oreo cheesecake was out of this world! Afterwards, the all members of the family run restaurant came out and we thanked them all. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our celebration, thank you Chardonnay!!

Great atmosphere and presentation. Fresh seafood. We ordered chef special (800 pesos) that came with seafood fajita, shrimp cocktail, deviled jumbo shrimps, coconut shrimps, conch ceviche, .. It was yummy. Mango margarita is good.

Wonderful place a block away from the main promenade. Looks like a jungle, so many plants and overall it's an amazing ambient. Almost like a botanical garden! The waiter told us his wife takes care of the plants and it really shows. We ordered Mexican plate for 2 persons and it was excellent. Great way to try out many different dishes at once! We also had mojitos and both mango and limon margaritas - the drinks were faboluos! The staff was very friendly and the prices were very affordable.

Tucked back a couple blocks off the main street is this little gem. We stumbled upon it and decided to give it a try. Food was extremely fresh and flavorful. I ordered a Bahama Mama and it was hands-down the best cocktail I had my entire trip. You could tell it was made with real bananas vs. syrup. The pico de gallo was by far the best Ive ever had. We tried various seafood dishes and even the pasta - all of which were amazing! The waiter and entire staff were super friendly and accommodating. The owner even came out to meet us and took a picture with us and gave us a cute seashell souvenir. Great hospitality! If you're visiting the island and want some great food, I would highly recommend this place!

The mango margarita I had was a little water down - something wasn't right about it.

With beautiful trees growing through the floor to the ceiling, the gorgeous lights that twinkle and bring romance to the space, it is all perfect. The staff! Wow! We never felt rushed but always were attended to. The food came with the perfect attention to detail and timing. At no point did I feel rushed or a burden to anyone. What an amazing feeling. Now the food! I am from a very prominent Italian food area and I was very impressed with that selections. The lasagna was stunning, the carbonara needed nothing and gave you that sweet hug from the inside you dream of. I got the ravioli with butternut squash and ricotta. I was stunned. It has been over a week since I had it and I still dream about it at night. What a hidden gem!

We were looking for a place and as I was checking reviews, I noted that La Terraza opened in place of Primas now, so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated by the owner. Service was excellent. We ordered Beers while looking over the extensive Italian menu. Much of the menu items were the same as Primas, which leads me to believe different owner, same Chef? We started off with the Blue Cheese Salad, then ordered the Coconut Shrimp, Chicken Picatta, Shrimp appetizer, and the Lobster Pasta. The food was OK, portions were big. The salad was overdressed, Lobster in the pasta was bland and overcooked. The pesto on my toast for the shrimp appetizer tasted old and looked brown. The Coconut Shrimp and Chicken were good though. Atmosphere: very nice, roof top dining, Service: excellent, Food: OK

Although Yelp still shows it being open and the last look on yelp shows "Opens in 20 minutes." Couldn't possibly be. Im sure Cozumel is having some tough times due to the covid-19 issues. La Terraza was a favorite in Cozumel, that's for sure. The first time I went there, many many years ago, it was called Prima. Prima closed down and moved to the top of another building but it didn't last long there. Then La Terraza opened back up where Prima used to be. The same great food as before and it seemed to be doing ok. The reputation brought people back there time after time. I know it did me too. So if you happen to get on the island and are expecting to go here for dinner, at least now anyway, plan on being disappointed, because it's no longer open and be prepared to go elsewhere. Really too bad. Ed and Shannon (the owners) were pretty nice people.
