Up front, I want you to know, this is a NEGATIVE REVIEW. I…read morewent in to get an opinion on whether I needed a root canal redone. I did not have the CT scan done and talked to the endodontist for around 15 minutes. I was billed for having the CT scan and some other charges along with it. I was told I'd get back the difference and they'd call me. A month later, no call. I was then told a month later, after a call, I'd be getting around $200 back and someone would be calling me. No call. I called back a few weeks later and was told they didn't know about it and someone would call me back. Again, no call. It's now more than 2 months later. I'm not sure they really care, and I'm sure they're just going to keep my money. Why does anyone have to pay the full out of pocket expense up front being told they'd figure out how much they own you back anyway? Even after this review, I won't be surprised if I never hear from them.

This place is like no other as it reminds me a mini mall but for dentist specialties. I went for a cleaning and x-rays. My appointment was around 7:30am and I was down out in 50 minutes which is not too bad. I wish I knew about the mini-arcade that they have in there, but then again I would be occupied and not want to have my appointment nor head to work. The only downside is they do make you fill out a lot of paperwork and it is on your phone which sometimes it makes it hard to fill out. I wish they have an option to send it through email and fill it on the computer as doing it over the phone can be tricky. Xrays was not too bad, they have this machine that does a 360 xray which was fun, they do the other x-rays which where they stick the film in your mouth and take a snapshot. It is not too bad, but that takes around 20 minutes. Then, they did my teeth cleaning which took around 15 minutes. I spent the other 10 minutes waiting to get my teeth clean and then 5 minutes for the dentist to come in and check out the teeth. Overall, I do not mind coming here for my future visit. Staff was nice and friendly and patient.

She was incredibly thorough, friendly, and took the time to explain what she was doing throughout the process. One thing that really impressed me was how advanced the technology was. The imaging and diagnostic tools they used were clearly state-of-the-art, which made the evaluation process feel very precise and reassuring. At many medical offices, you can feel like just another number, rushed in, rushed out, and treated more like part of an assembly line than a patient. That was absolutely not the case here. Every member of the team was personable and genuinely focused on patient care. I never once felt hurried. Instead, the staff took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable along the way. After the initial x-rays and testing revealed the issue, Dr. Berto came chairside. His chairside manner was exceptional. He carefully walked me through the images, explained exactly what the tests revealed, and discussed the procedure in a way that was both clear and reassuring. Again, it didn't feel like I was just another patient moving through the system, he took the time to make sure I fully understood what was happening and what to expect. The procedure itself was completed in less than an hour, Dr. Berto kept checking in with me to ensure I was ok, and the entire team continued to be attentive, caring, and professional throughout. Afterward, the post-procedure instructions were explained clearly, and both Denise and Dr. Berto made sure I felt comfortable before leaving. I'll also add something that really surprised me: a day later I have zero pain from the procedure, and more importantly the original tooth pain that brought me in is completely gone. That may just be my personal experience, but it's definitely worth noting. That being said, you need to really look over your EOB (explanation of benefits) and make sure everything is correct. We had to pay out of pocket because our insurance information wasn't available yet as my husband had started a new job. They filed for us later after we had our info, and the insurance greatly reduced the amount we were to pay. After finding out we were due a refund I contacted their office and was told the person in charge of all that had unfortunately had to have emergency surgery, which is completely understandable. Over a month later after reaching out again, we finally had a check written out to us for $1000 when I knew by the EOB I was owed $1700. After discussing it with the person, she did write another check of $700. I'm truly hopeful it was an honest mistake, but I would caution anyone to check every insurance EOB and make sure you are being charged correctly.

Luckily, I found 2 other Endodontists that had availability and one of them booked me right away. I guess they are so busy they don't want any new patients. Not sure but I was not impressed with the lack of empathy from the person that answered the phone. If you know you need endo, you know you need endo - I think the lack of trust in a patient for knowing their own body is a pretty big insult. Like I said, there are plenty of other Endodontists that don't act this way... I'd skip this place and look elsewhere.

We've always paid our estimates at time of service and any additional balances in instances where the estimates may have been slightly off. They continue to state that we have a "family" balance that has to be paid before they will schedule follow up visits. This balance has been reviewed with the business office against the EOB from my insurance in which the EOB does not reflect any patient responsibility. They are trying to balance bill for amounts they should contractually be writing off. This alone has put a bitter take in my mouth and forced me to start looking elsewhere for treatment. ​
