Their response was that, I needed to fill out the forms before the appointment. They made me cancel the appointment. Very rude and not helpful staff. The reason I made the appointment was because they have good reviews but they fooled me because the reviews that I read were old( 11 months ago, the most recent one). I do not know what changed but I definitely do not recommend this office to any seniors not familiar with filling out forms online

I am extremely fearful and my autoimmune diseases cause extreme sensitivity with extreme flare ups, Dr. Le was VERY understanding and attentive during my procedure, asking continually if I was OK and did I need to take a break ( highly unusual in most cases). The Dentist today was so mean to me today!…read more Sonrisa Family dentist said I needed five crowns but they took my insurance, and some filings. They wanted to charge $5000. 2nd dentist, I got a second opinion. They are usually my primary dentist, but they stopped taking my insurance. I had them look at the five teeth the 1st dentist said I needed crowns on. 2nd Dentist said that the were just level two cavities and I didn't need crowns. I paid out-of-pocket for this dentist to fill them. I had to go back to the Sonrisa to get the teeth filled that were covered by insurance. He was so pissed that I already got the other teeth done. He was such in a rush and so mad the whole time filling my teeth because of it. He also gave me a speech at the end saying that he doesn't like people to go back back-and-forth to other dentists and not to come back until they finished all the work they're doing. Are you kidding me I am never going back! He's just mad because I got a second opinion and they fixed my teeth, and it didn't cost $5000. Do you research, because so many dentist offices are such a scam. Also, when you go get a second opinion. You are allowed to ask for copies of your x-rays and take it to the other dentist office. A lot of people don't know you could do this. This will save you money!

We were very happy with each phase of our first day with this company. They set us up with their 1st available appointment that was over a month out, but put us on a call earlier list if there is a cancellation. This was great for us, because as retirees we could be available at a days notice. Both of us got calls to come in earlier than our scheduled appointments. Front desk staff were very efficient at processing Maggie & I as 1st time patients. The dental team makes the 1st appointment 2hrs long to do a very thorough exam. They want your input to get your level of involvement in the dental care process. The equipment they have is top of the industry standard. It gives the patient a good view of dental issues, allowing a more knowledgeable choice by patient & Dentist. We never felt pressured to additional care that wasn't truly required at the present time. We were given a break down priority list of items needed & told they would work with us on payment steps based on the priority list. Even given discounts on how payments can be made. While we were trying to resolve a payment issue due to an expired card, I called their office line to find an alternative way to pay. While explaining to the phone representative that the front desk wasn't explaining the charges clearly, Cole interrupted and defensively snapped that he had already explained it. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. While we both may have been having a stressful day, his customer service was completely unacceptable. Hoping to resolve the situation, I tried to schedule an appointment with the manager last Thursday to explain what happened. I was promised a callback from management that never came. Instead, when I arrived for my scheduled appointment the following week, I was told they had canceled my appointment and would no longer service me. While I respect that businesses have their own policies and I have no desire to return, their complete lack of communication and failure to address a customer service issue is deeply disappointing. The tooth in question was closest to my ear. Apparently had a large cavity upon which Tran decided to replace with a filling. He came at me with no topical and a needle to my upper palate which hurt! I told him I had never had an upper palatal shot before upon which he assured me I had. I was going to the same dentist for 15 years until he retired and I knew every shot I was given and for what. Then he proceeded to give me the fastest filling I ever had declaring he had an emergency enroute. Prior to this he wanted to know why I had checked depression on my health chart. When I told him it was due to sudden death of my husband he laughed! I went home with a filling that began to throb. I called the next day. He was out of town. Within the next three days I began to hear a hissing in my ear on side of the tooth. He offered to replace the filling as I mentioned a persistent ringing in my ear he blew it off. I ended up with a case of tinnitus since and two trips to ENTs. I ended up back at my dentists who told me the tooth should have been root canaled or extracted. It is too coincidental that I now live with persistent tinnitus. I feel nerve damage was done during procedure. Did not care for this man in his so called talent or chair side manner. My family has been seeing Doctor Goebell here since we moved to Rio Rancho because he was recommended by another family member. We did enjoy his care but I'm so tired of dealing with the rude front staff and the obscure charges that no one ever explains what they're for. Even the family member that originally recommended this dentist has said she's stopped coming to them due to the rude front office staff as well.
