Fantastic experience with this dental office and Dr. Burke for myself and my family. Everyone is always kind, professional, and Dr. Burke is a very straight shooter, always explaining what he's seeing and providing options without any pressure. His staff also seem really happy and like they really enjoy working there! Was looking for somewhere to leave a review and saw there was a weirdly low number here on Yelp, which can make it hard to suss a spot out, (but there are like 700 five star reviews on google so def check that out if you need a push!) :) read more

Dr Burk is very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. This was my first visit and I went for a cleaning / X-rays, the annual exam. Isabella, the dental hygienist, was kind and did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth. Allie, dental assistant, was very kind as well. After six years of searching, I've found my new dental home! This place is amazing from start to finish. Reception is super friendly, and have all of the Covid protocols down to a science. My hygienist was genuinely personable and friendly, and I could tell that she absolutely loves her job and loves where she works. Plus, she was incredibly communicative about working in the more sensitive areas of my mouth. Dr. Burk was excellent as well, if I ever need work done I trust him to do a competent job. The office is very high-tech with their equipment (some of the most comprehensive imaging I have ever seen) and yet down-to-earth with their personnel. You can tell it's a well run office, and the staff is happy to be working there. As for me, I'll be happy to visit them for all of my dental care! read more

Dr. Burke is a very nice man. Unfortunately, he totally missed the tooth that was causing me problems. He kept insisting it was another tooth, that indeed has issues to be taken care of at a later date, and not the area I was complaining about. It took going to a different dentist for that dentist to IMMEDIATELY see that the tooth that was bothering me had a loose crown. You messed up Dr. Burke. I just received a letter "releasing me as client." This review was not clear I had released him? This was direct payback to a bad review. Legal? read more

We were on Albuquerque on vacation, my son's tooth broke on a Friday... right before a 3 day Holiday Weekend! I called everywhere, but all dental offices closed early. My Aunt comes here and suggested I call, so I did. They too were closing early, but both the dentist AND staff stayed until we got there! They were pleasant(not angry that they were waiting on us after hours), they were efficient(took my son back with my mother as I filled out paperwork), and my 9 year old son actually felt comfortable because both the dentist and staff spoke to him in a calming, adult like manner(he's used to this with our dentist back home). All in all, I would highly recommend Peach Tree Dental. read more

A couple weeks ago I had to get a broken tooth fixed. We are new to Albuquerque so I was going to a new dentist (not Peach Tree, another one) who I had not been to before. Long story short (read my review of Family Smiles Dentistry if you want the long story long) I was very unhappy with my experience. I was also not able to get my teeth cleaned the day I got my tooth fixed. I had a general exam, and Xrays, but no cleaning. So I still needed a cleaning, and I still needed a good dentist. Encouraged by the positive reviews on Yelp, I made an appointment at Peach Tree Dental. For a cleaning. I was specific. "I need to get my teeth cleaned, " I said. "Great," they said, "come on in." So today the office called me several times before my appointment. The first time to ask if I could come in early (nope, I can't. I'm a busy person on a schedule, that's why I made an appointment). The second time they called back, I missed the call. When I listened to the message they left, it said they needed me to call them about my insurance, but they didn't give any more details than that. It was only a short while until the actual appointment time, and I was in a really busy place. Now me personally, I don't like to give lots of personal details like insurance related information, over the phone in a busy public place. So I decided to go in a little bit earlier so I could get whatever it was taken care of. SO I drive all the way over there, and the receptionist is like, "Oh we called you, your insurance told us you already had your general exam for this year." I said, "Right, I don't need an exam, I made an appointment for a cleaning." "Oh no!" says the receptionist, "We can't do a cleaning without an exam." "Of course you can," I say. ""Nope," she says, "We wont, we always do a general exam." Now I'm mad. "Can't you call and get my X-rays at the other dental office," I ask, "I literally just had an exam two weeks ago." "Nope," she says, "Sorry." But she doesn't sound sorry. So thanks for wasting my time Peach Tree, just so you could get a lousy $80 extra bucks from my insurance company. You could have cleaned my teeth, and then when my next exam came around I would have been back. But now I certainly never will. My quest for a good dentist in Albuquerque continues. ***UPDATE*** Dr. Burk contacted me this morning and said that he heard there was a "misunderstanding" yesterday. He wanted to let me know that he did need to do a general exam in order to follow a "standard of care." He said it was important to him that customers not be unhappy, however, so he wanted to offer to do a free general exam, and then he could perform my cleaning. I appreciate that Dr. Burk took the time to call me personally. So I am adding a star to my review. But after thinking it over, I have decided not to return to Peach Tree. Aside from the fact that I think its an ethical grey area, accepting a free service from a business after giving them a bad review (whether they saw it or not, I don't know), I don't have time to go all the way out there again. What I wish had happened yesterday was that the receptionist had said, "Oh, I don't think its possible to do the cleaning without the exam, but since you've come all the way down here, let me go and see if something can be worked out." Then, even if it turned out they couldn't accommodate me, I would have felt like they valued my time and my business. Hopefully, they will do better next time for someone else. read more

Dr Burk has been a great dentist. They have a high tech office and friendly staff. A few years back, when I broke my tooth on a bagel and was not established with a dentist he was able to get me in quickly. He was open to exploring the least intrusive route possible. Unfortunately it needed to be removed completely. Dr. Burk did a great job with the replacement. read more

The staff at Peach Tree are amazing. You are always treated very well and I have always been seen on time. I have been to a few dentists around Albuquerque and this is the only one that doesn't seem to charge an arm and a leg. Glad to find a good one! read more

I live in Las Cruces, NM and I drove to my appointments in ABQ to see Dr. Burk and his absolutely wonderful staff for every single appointment. It's what I chose to do even thou I have dental insurance. Dr. Burk and his staff are the greatest. In the area of costumer service the entire staff goes above and beyond; which is something that really impressed me. In other Dr/Dentist offices that I have been to, the staff is robotic and are just trying to get by until the end of the day; or they are not interested in the patient but what gossip they have going on in their office. On the other hand with Dr. Burks staff they welcomed me by my name every single time I walked in the door. Now for some people that doesn't make a difference but I have worked in costumer service all my life and know that is it imperative to keep your patients/customers happy. There is no wait time from when you arrive for your appointment to when you are called back. Dr. Burk meets with you as soon as you are seated. Dr. Burk goes into detail on the procedure he is going to perform on you before he starts. He makes sure you completely understand the process and asks you for any questions. What I want to say is that Dr. Burks office is absolutely wonderful and if you are looking for a dentist do yourself a favor and go visit Dr. Burk and his staff!!!
