Came here for a friend's bachelorette dinner, and am so glad we did! The service (hi heather!) was impeccable. She came out and snapped candid pics of us throughout the evening, kept the bride's drink filled, and overall went out of her way to make us feel very welcomed. We were able to take advantage of the Thursday night tapas special. We ordered 6 of the tapas, and the ones I could eat were really good. The only one I didn't love was the meatballs. The andouille sausage was fire! From the group, the feedback on the ones I couldn't eat (I have a food allergy) were also great. They said the crab Mac and cheese was the best. We also ordered dinner and we were so stuffed after the tapas, we absolutely didn't need it. My steak was cooked as desired, but I didn't love the seasoning on it. Next time, we'll stick to the tapas!

7/2/20 covid update. Staff all wear masks and gloves. Paper menus used. Tables appear to be set up for social distancing. Indoor and outdoor seats. Stopped in for dinner at six PM with a reservation. Outside seating is in the full sun with no fans, so be prepared to sweat. Took advantage of the three tapas for $30 Thursday special. There was some sort of mixup/kitchen failure as it took an hour to get three tapas, and even then they didn't come out together. Server told us they had no more plates left so we had to eat from the serving platter. A couple next to us who arrived 20 minutes after us were served long before us. All in all, a disappointing experience.

    Place sucks

Foods fine (I guess) as I still haven't gotten it. Sat in the restaurant for 2 hours, without receiving my entree. Waited over 25 minutes to be acknowledged after having been seated. Watched my beer and a friends drink sit at the bar for 20 minutes before receiving it. Waitress said "tapas are like large appetizers", the tapas couldn't feed a bird. Honestly PO'd. I rarely give bad reviews, but I have too. Some of the worst service I've ever received. Restaurant isn't crowded, it's a Sunday night, we had a reservation. Never coming here again, and I will actively tell people to not come here. Edit: Fries weren't cooked all the way, girlfriends bun ;) was cold, and a larger group that was seated 30 min after us, had finished their entrees before we received our appetizers. This place seriously blows. Very disappointed. Edit again: complained for the second time in my life. "All they could do" was 15%. The manager didn't come over and apologize, which is absolutely unacceptable. Poor leadership at this restaurant. Literally went to McDonald's for dessert, as I know the food will come out properly made and in a timely manner.

My twin sister and I picked this restaurant by going to Google maps and searching for restaurants in Saint Mary's County, MD. We were able to call and make a reservation for a river window table. They however don't show up on Open Table. I had the rockfish stuffed with crab imperial with asparagus and rice pilaf. I didn't eat the rice as i am trying to lose weight. It was excellent, especially the crab. My sister had the salmon stuffed with crab imperial. She said it was also great. We topped it off with a bortle of prosecco, which complemented the meal nicely.

Talk about an overlooked Jewel.... Stumbled upon this place while out for a walk. They were closed for lunch. This place has so much character and charm, I had to come back for dinner. The staff was friendly, ambiance and setting was really intimate. I wish I came during sunset, its beautiful here. Came on a Thursday night and surprise it was $30 for 3 tapas and 1/2 price draft.... (even local IPA) I got 3 Tapas for appetizers and 2 out of 3 were amazing..... only one I didn't really care for was the sesame crusted Tuna. Felt like it was missing something. Filet MignonBruschetta- Slices of grilled tenderloin topped with tomato, garlic, basil and feta cheese served on top of a thin slice of toasted baguette Sesame Crusted Tuna- Fresh tuna crusted in black & white sesame seeds, pan seared served with our sweet chili sauce and smoked paprika Salmon Board- Thin sliced smoke salmon served with onions, capers, chopped egg, cucumbers, Tzatziki sauce and French baguette For dinner we went with an 8oz Filet Mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, Wild mushroom cream sauce. And added crab imperial topping for an addition charge. Steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors was amazing. The crab added on top was delicious and I'm soooo glad I added it.

I love that this place serves tapas and we could order a bunch of things to share. Some of the highlights was the ahi tuna bites and the crab mac and cheese. We've tried a variety of crab/lobster mac and cheese at amazing restaurants and this place was my fiancee's favorite. One dish that I probably wouldn't reorder was the duck wrapped in phyllo, which I thought was pretty dry and lacked in flavor. Overall, this was a lovely place to spend a evening and I would definitely return.

Crab fondue. Crab Mac and cheese. Fried Oysters Rockefeller. Lamb (omg get this) Cream of Crab Soup. The bread is amazing.

First things first. Jon (I hope I spelled this correctly) last Friday was AMAZING. One of the best servers I've ever had. He gave his opinions on the menu genuinely and was so nice and attentive. The food was ok. I will def come back for the lamb. THE BREAD. Even the things that were just ok were 10x better with the bread.

We were very excited to try new menu items and the famous gimlet. Service was great, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. What made our experience go from good to bad quickly was what seemed to be the chef coming to our table reeking of cigarettes and alcohol and proceeding to hover over us for what felt like an inappropriately long time. Our server looked embarrassed as if this is a reoccurring event. Although I appreciate the chef coming to check on us it was a bit uncomfortable. Very easy 5 star review to write - I'll definitely be back for their weekend brunch special!…read more I met with a group of friends for their $35 bottoms brunch on a Saturday; this includes a wide array of bottomless tapas and greatly discounted drinks ($1 mimosas, $5 margaritas, $5 sangrias). The food was really really delicious. While the first wave of tapas took a little longer than expected to come out of the kitchen, the rest of our dining experience was smooth as butter. Every dish I tried was wonderful - the steak breakfast bowl, chicken tostada, and beef sliders really stood out in a special way. Each dish was seasoned well and came out hot; some of the tapas came out in fairly large portions (like the beef bowl and papas) and should be shared between a few people. I appreciate how expansive the menu is; we ate like kings and queens and barely got through tasting half the menu. The drinks came out quickly and were well made. They offered all sorts of flavored mimosas and margs (at a small upcharge); I stuck with classic OJ mimosas but friends at the table loved trying the variety of options. Overall, service was great. Our waitress was attentive, quick, and kept great track of all the tapas we ordered. As I mentioned, the flow and timing of receiving our first round of food could've been improved - but it didn't ruin the experience. Looking forward to my next brunch here!

I looked it up and I was immediately intrigued. $35 for AYCE and brush drinks start at $1 ($1 OJ mimosa, $2 flavored mimosa, $5 margaritas & sangrias). It did take a while for us to place our first order, but I was not the first there, so I am pretty sure that the staff were waiting for our entire party to arrive. About 5 minutes after the last people arrived, we got taken care of and everything was amazing from there. This is the first bottomless menu in a while that I genuinely could not get all the way through because there were that many options. It was fascinating to see items like hummus, deep fried oreos, arepitas, and baleadas... which were actually some of the best things! I could go on and on about the items I tried and how enjoyable the mimosas were. Tamarind and lulo were my favorites! If you enjoy tapas and brunch and are in the NoVA area, this is the place for you. The decor inside is lovely too!

HH prices are really good, $9 cocktails and $8 bites. I got a spicy margarita, where they put some fresh jalapeños in it. My friend also got a margarita. We started off with date wrapped with bacon, and patatas bravas! The date wrapped bacon was soo good, the dates just melt in your mouth. One of the best I have had in a long while. Patatas bravas were also good. We wanted to get their stuffed spring rolls but they were out of that so we ended up with empanadas, one chicken and one beef. Both very tasty! The HH experience was lovely and with great company too! Lots of really good conversation, making a new friend, excellent service and very good food. I looked at the menu ahead of time and already knew I wanted the Ultimate Seafood Platter, mainly because it included a crab cake. We also ordered oysters as an appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. Hands down, this was some of the best seafood I've had from a restaurant in a long time. The scallops were plump and juicy, and the fish portion was very generous. I'm usually nervous when a crab cake is included as part of a platter because I expect something small or previously frozen. That was definitely not the case here. The crab cake was a great size and tasted fresh. They offer a traditional version and an "angry" version. I ordered the angry crab cake, and it was seasoned to perfection. First off, there seemed to be only one waiter handling around 7-8 tables. Tables on both sides of us were visibly getting frustrated with how slow the service was. We came to enjoy ourselves and weren't in a rush, so we didn't mind waiting as much, but the service was noticeably slow. Interestingly, the actual dishes came out fairly quickly, but everything else--ordering, drinks, checking in, and getting things we needed--took a long time. For a restaurant at this price point, I was also expecting the overall experience and atmosphere to feel a little more elevated. It didn't really feel particularly upscale or special, and the bathrooms were noticeably dirty, which was surprising and definitely took away from the experience. Overall, the food was decent, but between the understaffed service, cleanliness, and atmosphere, I didn't feel the experience matched the price. Restaurant Week is usually a great opportunity to try a higher-end restaurant and want to come back, but unfortunately I don't think I'd return at the regular menu prices.
