I have a rare spinal disease and finding the right doctor is very important to my health. I am so happy with Dr. McCrory. He not only listened to my every need he knew about my disease. I can't tell you how secure this makes me feel. I usually go to doctors and they ask me how to spell my disease because it is rare. He checked on me while I waited to see him then he sat with me for 45 minutes as we went over all of my health issues. He took the time to find the right neurosurgeon and neurologist to refer me to. My one star rating is due to the unprofessionalism by this Dr. and staff. I was seeing Dr. McCrory for a pinched nerve I had. His recommendation was to come in 2-3 days a week for an adjustment. This MD is also a Chiropractor so instead of referring me out he did my adjustments there in his office. I had asked one of the receptionist (Katie) if she could give me an estimate of what these visits would cost because I knew I'd be paying out of pocket as my deductible is very high. Her response... I don't know what you'll be charged because sometimes the insurance will still pay a portion. I was just looking for worse case scenario so I didn't schedule more visits than I could afford and she refused to give me any information. On another visit I asked Dr. and he at least told me with the adjusted rate I'd pay about $65 for the each visit. Not bad. But what he failed to tell me is that on top of the $65 fee I'd also be charged an office visit. I received my first bill and questioned if I was going to be charged an office visit for every appointment I had. I was told yes because he's an MD and everyone pays an office visit. Had Katie given me the information I requested I would have known before I scheduled 2-3 appointments a week and ended up paying over $1,000 . I am very disappointed and feel robbed! I could have seen a Chiropractor for $60 a visit. This Dr. did nothing special for me. Appointments always felt rushed. I've never been to a Dr's office that didn't perform all vitals upon check-in. The only thing I received upon check-in was my blood pressure taken and a couple times they checked my pulse. Lastly... the unprofessionalism by Katie (back desk receptionist) should not be tolerated. She made a comment to me to not waste her time or my time if I didn't think the ultra sound treatment Dr. recommended worked for me. The reason for her comment was because I had declined the treatments at previous appointments. Regardless... you don't ever tell a patient to not waste your time! On another visit while waiting for Dr. in one of the rooms she (Katie) was talking to an intern about another employee that works at the front desk. The conversation being had was actually about me asking the front desk receptionist if she was in training upon one of my check-ins because Katie was helping her and she was apologizing for not knowing how to look something up. Katie was talking shit about this employee because of her lack of knowledge and how long it has been taking her to learn things. Katie mentioned a patient (me) had asked her if she was in training. She failed to realize that the patient (me) was sitting in the room hearing the entire conversation. My only reason for mentioning this is to make you all aware of the unprofessionalism that takes place in this MD office! I would NOT recommend this MD office to anyone. Very unprofessional and not forthcoming with information. I hope Dr. and Katie read this review and will learn something from it so they can better serve existing and new patients. Terrible! He does not understand anything about the drugs he prescribes. He prescribed my boyfriend a prescription for sleep and when he had an adverse reactions he came back in for help. McCrory did nothing to help and had to leave the office frequently to look up the medication he prescribed! He was very unprofessional and, frankly lacking in compassion. I am extremely disappointed in his inability to help a patient in need and would not recommend anyone use him. I am disgusted by his lack of knowledge and professionalism. Not only did he fail at his job but we learned he prescribed a drug that is known for causing problems to the user. He spends no time getting to know his patients and only knows what is written down for him in their charts and even then he gets it wrong. Office staff is very friendly. After years of being treated like a medical experiment in the past where Drs just want you to take this pill, that pill, another pill, more pills, etc..... I finally have a Dr. you know cares to figure out what is happening and how to treat it. I have more insight to my issues now than I ever have. But I also have a Dr. now who actually listens and doesnt push you to try things you arent comfortable with. You can tell after about 5 mins with Dr. M that he actually cares about treating patients and helping us live more comfortable lives. He seems like a good doctor, I have only seen him once for now. The staff is nice too. But if you need a referral just make sure they don't forget to send it. I called after a week to check why haven't I been contacted by rheumatologist by now to find out that doctor forgot to send it. And no sorry at all, nothing as if I was the one who made a mistake. Dr McCrory is a complete quack. Misdiagnosed a heart condition for my husband, which we then spent over $1000 on cardiology tests only to find out he's completely fine. Misdiagnosed a concussion for my college aged son. Check every box on a lab slip for blood work when only supposed to be doing blood sugar check... got a bill for over $500. This review relates to my initial patient visit to my and 1 year and 4 months since then. My first impressions were ok at best. I struggle with acute and chronic hip dysplesia and was recently diagnosed with MS primary progression. Spinal manipulation has been highly beneficial in alleviatieing pain as well as other chiropractic modalities. On a refferal from a friend I was introduced to Roseville Adavanced Medical Group( RAMG) under the care of Dr. MCrory. Also, Katie T. front office medical assistant was my mainline of communication and interaction at this office. Reluctanly, on my first visit, encouraged by the doctor I had my blood drawn days later. Uncovered insurance charges were then charged to me. Then the unethical practices in billing and medical practice began to surface. Inquires to staff and especially Dr. Charles Mcrory went unanswered ( what doctor does not return inquires into patient concerns) I was billed through insurance or cash for an office visit. Dr. Mccrory apparently , disconnected from his office staff including his wife ( Deborah McRory) who is listed as office manager for (RAMG) ,were not there to hear my concerns unless I paided for a visit to see the doctor. Office visits ICD 10 codes have been manipulated by staff, at Drs recommendation to charge insurance companies the maximum while the patient pays more out of pocket. Co-payments are paid directly to this office instead of the carrier, and you the patient pay double for a quailty of care found with the most basic chiropractor. Katie T. is a new graduate former intern of this office who has been put in charge by herself it seems. Any communication about my care is communicated in an ¨if so¨ demeanor lacking any professionalism or patient care . She appears unhappy and is highly opinionated on even basic questions. As I waited for the Dr. in a patient room which the door was left open Katie R. made a statement ¨if the Dr. isnt making any money, I am not making any money. This was my last vist to this office. Insurance continues to bill me months later, be cautioned this office is a doc in the box that probably should retire as care is minimal unless money is made and charges are exacerabated! My fist visit with McCrory was fine. At my second visit I had to wait quite a while while I listened to him chatting with his patient about their personal lives. I am very busy so this was frustrating. I was late to the third visit. I called in advance and was told to still come in. I am a medical professional and had an emergency patient so I appreciated the flexibility. I arrived about 20 min later than expected. I again had to wait, which is understandable when I did not arrive at my appointment time. However the front staff member was impolite and when Dr. McCrory was again chatting away at the front with his patient and stated "wow, I can't believe I'm running on time and no one is waiting" the staff member did not say anything about me waiting in the room just behind him listening to everything. She just let him return to his office while I continued to sit and wait. I had a dinner engagement so after waiting at about 30 minutes, I had to leave and was told by the staff member that she wasn't sure if she could waive the $25 no-show fee because I wasn't seen and I was late to my appointment. If I was Dr. McCory and knew of the way this staff member was treating his patients, I would have terminated her employment. There is no place in healthcare for this kind of treatment in my opinion. The doctor seemed amiable and competent if a little too talkative for me, but the staff member I had to deal with was disrespectful and condescending so I have chosen to see another doctor. read more

I've been seeing Dr. McCrory for the past 8 years and have nothing but the best to say about Dr. McCrory and his staff. My husband has been seeing him as well and very happy. Dr. McCrory is very special. He has supported me during very tough times during BC but made me feel alive and wonderful not like the other medical community that just sees you as a "patient". His staff is very supportive but the positive atmosphere lifted my spirits giving me the ability to conquer anything. I started seeing DR. McCrory around 2 years ago. I have an older gentleman friend who him and his wife are like family that referred me to Dr. McCrory. I was a little reluctant as to his age and wanted someone more my age who understood that I was out to find someone that was up on all the updated and cutting edge medical technology. I went only because I saw what he was doing for my friend and how well he becoming and as quickly as he was. I was impressed not at only how invigorating Dr. McCrory was but how knowledgably he was and how attentive he was to my needs and wants. He was very extensive in looking though and telling me about my trouble spots regarding my blood test. He was able to help me get down in weight and bring my chronic ales and problem areas under control quickly and for good, if I decide to keep doing what he tells me to do. He's also not someone to just through things at you to see if they work. He is very calculated and knows what works and what doesn't. Needless to say I was very happily surprised and he is now and always will be my primary care doctor. The big thing for me was that I just recently I was in back to back motorcycle accidents. The first one breaking 7 vertebras and a rib. The second one breaking 11 ribs, shattered my scapular, punctured my lung, and did a number on my hip. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital for that one. If it wasn't for Doctor McCrory, I would not be where I am today after those to major accidents. He was able to get me back to work in 4 week's time. If it wasn't for Dr. McCrory, I can only imagine where I would be if I listen to the other doctors. Now, I'm not one of those people that like to sit around but all the other doctors where telling me that it would be months before I was even really walking around and that an operation was in order within the first 6 months. I won't do anything without consulting Dr. McCrory first, that's how much I believe in him. I've had doctors and especially lately that have told me that there are things I would not do for at least a year that I am doing 2 months later. If it wasn't for Dr. McCrory, I really can't tell you where I would be and I know I've said that a few times but it's true. I can however tell you where I wouldn't be and that's where I am today and typing this letter. The time he takes with you vs just blows in and out of the room in the first 5 minutes only to be seen again on your next visit like I've had with other doctors is not something Dr. McCrory does and it makes me feel like he really cares and that's something I look for when it comes to someone that really needs to do just that, care about you! So, the biggest thing for me is that he listens so intently and is able to find the answers if he doesn't already know them to make your life the best it can be and I Truly believe whole heartily in that, in him, and his staff, Tiffany Banks, James, Kelly, Vanessa, and Kammi. Oh, you'll even get to talk to his wife who is fantastic. It really feels like a little family and I always feel great and a TON better when I leave there. Dr. McCrory is top notch. He's friendly, knowledgeable, takes his time with you and covers everything in great detail so you are well informed about your health. I have been seeing him for 7 months and in that time, he has helped me to take steps to improve my health greatly. He told me what to do to lower my blood sugar, adjust my thyroid, stop my acid reflux, improve my cholesterol, and decrease inflammation. Side effect: my allergies are gone! All areas of my health are improved and I feel so great. I have made Dr. McCrory my primary care doctor since I found him to be much more knowledgeable about my issues.
