Very average place. I can't read what this place is trying to be. The menu is super small. It feels like it's more of a cocktail drinking place than actually good food. I got the gnocchi. Rosa and the noodles felt super soft. I also don't like a red sauce with gnocchi normally and this confirmed that belief. I feel like gnocchi should always be with pesto. $22 for hardly any pasta and hardly any flavor. The sauce, though it was red was creamy And tasty. The staff is very kind and attentive. They always served us. Our waters on time. Nice seating inside. Nice lighting and big windows. Not a ton of places to seat.

Been here a few times and always good. Highly recommend the crudo and the beef tartare. Pastas change from time to time. The Agnolotti

This place was a perfect place for a few appetizers on the go. We got fried chicken and fries and were super pleased by everything. The staff was kind, we could tell our server wanted us to order more food and get drinks. We aren't the type to get drinks usually, just water. But, with his persuasion we got a non-alcoholic mojito. It wasn't our favorite, kinda tasted watered down. But the place is gorgeous and has a really cute inside. Definitely a good place for some wine and freinds!

Didn't like this spot very much, it was super overpriced and food was mediocre. The servers were nice and friendly, and it was easy to get seated on a Friday night but the only thing I really liked was the complimentary focaccia bread and the farro salad. We also had the Tuscan fried chicken, hand cut fries, gnocchi and saffron cavatelli, which were all okay. The olive oil cake was not as good as other ones I've had so would pass on this place.

Enjoyed a dish from each section of the menu and was pleased until the mains! My friend knew the chef personally and was gifted the new pasta dish and the amazing arancini! Aside from the mains being unpleasantly small everything tastes amazing! Love how the chef has created a menu thats very cohesive! The lovely server was kind, attentive and very friendly! The cocktails I personally wouldn't get again but were very refreshing. Dessert was delicious!

A friend and I made 8pm reservations for dinner at Charlie Bird this past Sunday evening. It's a cozy, semi-romantic, chic spot with great energy and a delicious small menu. We tried the raw oysters (super fresh), the Saffron Cavatelli (just the right amount of heat and a layered, complex flavor), the Gnocchi Rosa, and the Chocolate Budino for dessert (which was yummy enough that we ordered a second helping). I enjoyed a Soho Rickey off of their cocktail menu, as well. The servers were so sweet and welcoming. The music wasn't too loud, and we had an overall positive experience. I have already referred Charlie Bird to a few friends.

Charlie Bird has a great summer terrace to sit and relax. The world goes by when you sit and listen to hip hop. The menu is unique and leans towards Italian flavors. Although they had fried chicken on the small plates. There was a fusion happening for sure. We ordered a burratta with peaches as our starter. It was delicious! My favorite part of the meal! The service was quick and not rushed. The seating outside is by far the best option.

This place is cute and pretty spacious, great for larger groups. Their Monday burger and martini special for $30 is a steal! Separately, martinis are $15 and burgers are $20 on Mondays. I had the 50/50 martini and it was delicious. We also had sides of broccoli rabe and cauliflower. The food was good, but not exceptional.

Food was delicious. We had the crudo tasting, farro salad, tagliatelle, fries and pork chop. Delicious flavors and great service.

They say that their plates are designed to share, but honestly the portions are small, and you would need 3 pastas and some small plates or a large plate to fill up 3 people. The menu is very small, and changes from time to time Each of the pastas will come with some chili oil and it is such a good combination, but I didn't feel that the pasta itself was anything special. I would come back only for the chili oil combo with the pasta The Foccocia bread is great, and good to snack on while you wait since it takes a bit of time for the pasta/mains to come out

"Continental in the Village" In terms of food, this restaurant rises above a lot of average places in the Village. What's to cheer - solid dishes that all come out of the kitchen with high quality - great array of apps and starters, including a great hamachi crudo. - good service What's to jeer - the wine list is super over priced and it's hard to find much under $80 a bottle - lots of west side pretentions - pricey - not a lot of bigger course options Not a destination place, but if you are in the hood it is a worth a try.

What is the difference between patio and sidewalk patio seating? Which one is covered?

The patio is fully covered/mostly enclosed. Some of the sidewalk patios are covered by an awning but for the most part are exposed to the elements.

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

This means those dishes aren't truly gluten free for people with celiac disease or anyone who has to avoid gluten. When I pointed that out to my server, he just gave me a blank stare. I tried to explain why labeling those items as gluten free is misleading, but he seemed completely disinterested, even annoyed, dismissed what I was saying, and simply responded that the pasta is gluten free. I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The food was okay, definitely not enough to make up for the poor service and handling of a serious dietary issue. Needless to say I will not be returning.
