WOW WOW WOW!!! This was an Awesome Family food adventure, this place has the best mini donuts I have ever rated in Florida!!! Small place in a plaza with big taste burstin out the donuts. ALL DONUTS ARE MADE TO ORDER, WAIT, what what, ALL DONUTS, COFFEES AND SMOOTHIES ARE MADE TO ORDER!!! SO SO SOmany Flavors we had to try as many as we could as it being our first trip to Charlie's You can get different size packs, but for us 5 we found getting the 25 mini donuts for 20$ the best deal = 5 a piece and we all got full!!! I can say there was not a single donut that we did not like, of course there were favs, but there were no donuds or dud's without the quirk intended, lol. Top 5 Favs: Snickers, cotton candy, coconut, Oreo & krispy Rice!!! They have what you see on the menu and more!!! The coffee's and smoothies were enjoyed by all. For coffees we got the cappuccino, triple shot espresso and the vanilla mocha latte all were great tasting and their espresso really had a end kick to it!!! For the Smoothies the kids tried the strawberry and the strawberry/banana, both were real fruit smoothies and the kids loved em' For our family of 5 we spent 42$ with tip!!! What a great deal and everyone's hunger was satisfied!!! We drove 40 minutes to get to Charlie's Mini Donuts and it was definitely worth the trip!!! From the first time I saw the sign boasting "mini donuts" I have been dying to go- and it did NOT disappoint! There are so many options for donuts it's almost kind of hard to choose because you want to try everything! Something I think is cool is that all of the donut options are Celiac-safe, and almost all are completely gluten free! My roommate has Celiac and she has such limited options of what to eat at a lot of places so I love how far Charlie's goes above and beyond to make sure every person is accommodated for. Along with mini donuts they also have a lot of coffee choices as well. But the donuts are the star- they are delicious, as tasty as they are pretty! They're also made to order so they're super fresh (and messy with the frosting haha) I especially enjoyed the pop rocks donut, such a unique flavor that I'd never, ever think of making but it all works together nicely. There is not a donut I've tried that I haven't liked. It's also really nice that what they offer are "mini" donuts, so if you eat half a dozen of them it's really only like eating one, one and a half regular sized donuts and you don't have to feel as bad or sick if you over do it, lol. I didn't think the prices were too bad either. Great place and definitely recommend!!!
To begin, we've only ever had Charlie's delivered. We've never actually been inside. We typically order via the DoorDash app. You're able to choose individual types of mini donuts and, as long as they have them in stock, there are tons to pick from! Even if they replace one with a different flavor, it's still great! You can add notes if there are dietary or allergy concerns, as well. These are some super tasty, itty bitty donuts! And their smoothies are wonderful! We've never been disappointed in anything we've ordered.
Absolutely love this place! I used to do DoorDash and the staff is SO NICE even tho I hadn't bought anything. I am not a loving customer and if I want mini donuts: Charlie's is my go to! The lattes are also VERY GOOD! You can see them make it and it's all very clean! I feel safe eating here.
Found this place while on vacation. The doughnuts are small hence the name mini, but they are made fresh to order and the novelty of the flavors are phenomenal. The wife and I got a 24 pack so we could try all of the flavors. Cutting them in half makes for the perfect bite size. So if you are looking for something just a little bit different but very delicious give Charlie's a try. You won't be disappointed.
I've been so sad ever since mini donut factory closed down. I haven't really tried looking for a new mini donut place. But it was destiny I guess that I work 3 minutes away from Charlie's ! I drove by and had to stop in. They have a pretty good selection of mini donuts and some different kinds of coffees. My mocha drink kind of tasted like pure chocolate milk , but the donuts were amazing. They were still hot and the syrup drizzle melted all on top of them. So yummy! Also the lady who took my order was not the friendliest, she was on the phone talking to someone and seemed kind of annoyed that I walked in. But maybe something was going on so I won't judge based off that. The donuts were good and that's all I care about haha
Cute little donut shop with a unique business model. They serve mini donuts which are about 2-3 bite size for adults. The interior is clean and welcoming. They offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate and smoothies in addition to the delicious mini donuts. There are a wide variety of donut flavors to choose from to satisfy any taste. I will definitely be back!
This place is super cute and great tasting. I love a mini doughnut idea because you're able to taste a couple of different flavors of donuts without a calorie overload or too much sugar. Flavors were very fun I really enjoyed them we got the peanut butter and jelly which was one of my favorite the maple bacon which was my absolute favorite it tasted like pancakes with bacon and syrup. He also got a fruity pebble donut which was a hit for the kids a Fruitloop donut the Oreo doughnut and the pop rocks . so the pop frogs didn't really crackle after being sat on top of the donut but it was a very cute presentation and we will be back!
An experience at Charlie's Mini Donuts and Coffee is always a happy one. This charming cafe makes mini donuts fresh and to order. We have visited many times and always look forward to our next visit. This is a great distance from our home otherwise we would stop in more often. We have not tried a donut that we don't like and the coffee is very good as well. I'm trying a cappuccino today fir the first time here and it is really good. The owner is almost always here and he welcomes everyone that walks in. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful as well. This is a wonderful place any time if the day.
My family and I had driven past this place a few times and decided to stop in! I will say that the donuts themselves were amazing, and the place itself has a cute decor. Although the food was really good, the service was okay! I felt like the person who took our order wasn't very quick and struggled to take our order. She had to repeat it a couple of times. I've driven by this place so many time. I finally stop and my goodness these mini donuts are pack full of big delicious burst of flavor. The staff were nice and patient with my choices. I just keep going back and forth thinking which choices I wanted to try. This place is decorated very oddly. Later I found out that on Tuesday and Thursday they convert this place to an Egyptian restaurant. For that I can't wait to try that out. I love middle eastern food. read more

This place is amazing!!!!!!! The place is clean and the staff is extremely pleasant. The donuts are made as you order them, and then topped in front of you. The taste reminded me of a donut crossed with a zeppoli. The maple bacon is the most recommended and well worth it - tastes like a waffle with syrup and bacon. The Rice Krispie one was good tooZ. Oreos tasted good, wish it was alittle more chocolate tasting. read more

Wow what a neat place! The donuts were absolutely fresh and delicious. The owner was extremely kind and friendly. I tried the bacon donut, peanut butter donut , and Oreo donut. My favorite out of those three was for sure the bacon one. I had strawberry hot chocolate that was delicious. This place is cozy and perfect for coffee! I highly recommend going here with some friends. The prices were reasonable and the quality was fantastic! I can't wait to go back. read more

This place is fantastic! Fresh donuts made to order ... The staff is super friendly, the place is clean and the decor is great ... My friend loved the two espresso donuts and the bacon maple ... I loved my Oreo, Smores, and cinnamon sugar donuts ... Not sure which was favorite, they were all awesome ... My friend got a strawberry Italian soda, also made to order, a few other flavors to choose from ... This place is definitely going on my to visit every time I'm in Lakeland list ... Ample parking, a pizza place adjacent and a cuban deli but I've not tried either ... Drive through beverage place and pet grooming ... The other places nearby make it easy to put this on your path ... In fact I've passed it dozens of times and never noticed it, so glad my friend introduced me! read more

Charlie's Mini Donuts is a nice place to indulge your sweet tooth or donut craving. I visited for a mid-afternoon snack. My fiancé and I ordered half a dozen mini donuts to go. The donuts were soft with a little crispness on the outside. I had the Maple Bacon, Chocolate Peanut Cup, and Vanilla Pumpkin Spice Donuts. All three were sweet and delicious. read more

A great stop if you are a coffee & cake donut aficionado, located on 540A, specializing in mini-donuts. They have one cake donut recipe with 15 standard mini-donut toppings, topped warm and arriving gooey. Due to their excessive candy toppings the small donuts are the same price as local standard-sized donuts, about 85 cents. A 6-pack is $4.50. I would call this a one-time "fun" stop rather than a regular hang spot. It is noisy, both clerks and customers. On my visit, 6-8 high school giggly loud girls in a "planning session" created the din. While warm donuts were nice, am not a "cake donut" fan and these were not done in the middle. I enjoyed the flavors of the raspberry, maple bacon and peanut butter cup toppings. The rest were just "ho hum" candy-topped. It took all 3 girls to fill someone's 25 donut box rather than using each girl to fill an order (meaning they are slow), their aprons were absolutely "filthy" with goo. They have 2 hot sandwiches but they weren't priced nor on their menu and many latte style coffee drinks. ( As for me, I'll stick with the raised donuts at the quieter Hole in One!) read more
How cute is this place?? Charlie's does make to order mini donuts, so you don't have to worry about how long your donut has been sitting out. Wanting to try multiple flavors? Go ahead. These mini ones also take away the guilt of having "one too many." I took two 6 pack to work and they definitely made an impression on my coworkers. The coffee and tea are well priced!
