Eagle Rock BBQ

Thank you Eagle Rock BBQ for being apart of our BrodyFest at Reseda park this past Saturday! Your guy's food was so delicious and we appreciate all your kind staff to our guests at the park! Looking forward to working with your company next year and beyond. Thanks for being apart of our special day in the 818! You guys rock!

Chicken Sliders and the worst Mac and cheese I've ever had

Might be the worst food I've ever had in my life, expensive, bland and an insult to not only BBQ but food itself. Spent almost $20 for 2 sliders and disgusting inedible Mac and cheese. If I was starving and needed to eat Eagle Rock BBQ to live, I would welcome deaths sweet embrace. At least when I'm dead I'm not in the same world as Eagle Rock BBQ.

Meat to Bun ratio is blown

I had the pulled pork sandwich at the SoCal Corgi Nationals. It was dry, bland, and didn't come with the coleslaw that was listed on the menu. The bread was dry, and there was way too much of it for such a small portion of meat. I had higher expectations for a $16 sandwich, this would have been a disappointment even if it was half the price. The fries were pretty good though, so that bumped it from a one star to a two star.

They accept credit cards and apple pay now…read more $2 for a taco and they give you heaps of meat on it. The carnitas is the best one, and it's towards the crispy side. Fast and friendly service. They'll ask 50c extra for salsa though.

Highland Park's Best Carnitas -- A True Neighborhood Gem!…read more This taco truck will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up in Highland Park, and my parents used to bring me here as a kid. It's one of those spots that instantly brings back memories the moment you pull up -- same truck, same incredible flavors. Their carnitas are hands down the best I've ever had -- flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right every single time. I've tried plenty of places over the years, but nothing compares. Ive always loved their burritos and tortas, but lately I've been hooked on their nachos, which are a newer menu addition and absolutely delicious. I'll even have my boyfriend drive me all the way from where I live just to get them! What makes this place truly special is its consistency. The food quality, the service, and even the prices have stayed solid throughout the years. In a neighborhood that's changed so much, it's comforting to know this hidden gem is still holding it down and keeping that authentic Highland Park flavor alive. They're parked right in front of a 7-Eleven, which makes parking super convenient -- definitely a plus in this area. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Always great food, always good vibes. This spot will forever be one of my favorites.

DO NOT COME TO THIS TRUCK!!!…read more I chose this truck late night last night out of 3 other Mexican food trucks on Eagle Rock Blvd and I regret it all the way. I would give 1 star but I'll give 2 just because the Asada Fries I ordered were decent. But for the prices they have??? Oh h*ll no. Who do they think they are charging people 21$ for a medium box of food. On the truck the price of the fries said 17.99!!!! That's already a lot but I decided to order them feeling like spending money for a good meal and when I order with the guy at the register you can just tell he wants your money. Obviously their business isn't going so well so they have to overprice. After reading the price on the truck the guy says ,"that'll be 21$". I'm in disbelief but I'm not cheap and have pride so I just gave it to him. These people are not for the community at all and I do not recommend. You'll be better off going to Leo's taco truck or the place in front of target. Listen to the reviews or you'll be money grabbed like me. I don't usually write reviews but I cant let that slide again. Not to mention the fact that I couldn't even get a fork with my meal and the make you get the sauce yourself. With prices like that you'd think they cater to their customers a little more. I promise you they don't care. Do not eat here.

I got the suadero, carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor tacos (multiple rounds). I love that it has the onion and cilantro side bar as well as grilled onions on the side. The taste of the meats was very good. Everything was cooked fresh in front of me with a giant stew pot in the background too. Overall, decent cheap tacos. Free parking in Little Tokyo area is a plus and I could also walk over the the mini mall and look around afterwards.

Now located just outside the parking lot at the Vons supermarket in Eagle Rock, it's easy to combine a trip for groceries with a quick snack or dinner in the parking lot. Their amazing tacos are still just as good, with the al pastor, asada, and chicken being my favorites, with a plentiful assortment of salsas, limes, chopped onions and cilantro, and radishes to top it all off. At 2.25 per taco, you can splurge a little bit without dropping too much cash (and yes, this is a spot where you should bring cash!) but they also have started taking Zelle. Be adventurous and order a couple different types and find your new favorite! This place offers very little in terms of ambiance, seating, or tables, but service is always quick and efficient even when the spot gets crowded--usually late at night and on the weekends. Be prepared to take your food to go, eat in the car, or stand around in the parking lot while you enjoy your food. Have plenty of napkins and hand sanitizer ready. Trust me when I say you will need them!
