Carne asada could have been a little more tender but otherwise filled my protein fix. Everything was seasoned very simply and the ingredients tasted fresh. I appreciated the slivers of avocado and toasted bread. The cheese is where it's at with this sandwich and I was pleasantly surprised by the two types prepared :) Agua Fresca was standard and refreshingly tangy and sweet. Parking isn't so bad because it's on the edge of York, and you can always try to find residential parking. Pretty good spot! Came here after being completely ignored in the neighboring spot "El Huarache Azteca". They served us almost immediately and the food came out pretty quick (~5 min). I got a shrimp quesadilla and a chia licuado. Overall it was about $18 or so, which isn't bad for the area. I'd recommend a more conventional licuado, the chia one wasn't that worth it. This is the second time we go only to be told they're closed. It was an hour and a half earlier than listed on Yelp. We point it out to the young man at the counter and he just says "I don't know." We ask well what time do you close? He says if it's slow we close early. We point out they should change their hours as this is the second time this happens but the attitude of the dude said he could care less. Two others walked in after us as well to be turned away. I'll also point out that the guy was just standing there when we walked in. The door was wide open and their signs were still out on the curb. So misleading but their attitude was worse.
