I've been coming here for years for batteries & to get simple things adjusted or fixed (and they never charge for most of that). This past week I finally brought in several pieces of jewelry I got from my aunt after her death. I thought it was mostly junk. Steve sat down & spent time with me, going through it all for 90 mins or so. Not only did he tell me what it all was & if it was worth anything, he paid me for most of it & took it off my hands for a very nice price as it was not something I'd ever wear or use. He also told me which items would be better to keep for myself & why so I still have a little something to remember her by. Whether it's replacing something with those tiny batteries, verifying an ECG device with another weird battery was still working, adjusting a bracelet, watch or ring, telling me what something was made out of & if it was worth anything, or going through several bags of random jewelry I inherited, he does it all & I appreciate his honesty & that I have such a good resource right in my area. read more

Best place to go if you need any repairs to jewelry. Went in on a Saturday and although extremely busy Steve was friendly and welcoming. I had called a few places around prior and everyone has given a 7-10 day turn around with a cost of 60.00+ to have a wedding band resized. Steve asked us when we needed it by and we told him it was no rush since the husband and I were leaving for Europe that upcoming Tuesday. Steve offered to have it ready of us the next day a Sunday. They aren't open on Sunday but because he saw how important the ring was to the husband Steve took care of it immediately. When we picked up the ring on Sunday the shop was closed but Steve opened the door for us, the ring looked better than when we purchased it and it was extremely affordable less than every other store we called. Beware. Stay away from this place as far as you can. I took in my watch to have a part replaced. They said keep the watch, we will call the company and have it replaced. I had to call back so many times. Then they said come pick up the watch, we can not find the part. Fine. I went to pick up. Watch was taken apart. he puts it back infront of me and I see the seconds hand is missing. Guy says it's missing when i dropped it. I told him, if it was I would ask you to fix that too. You took it apart. He said i will call the company and have them send a seconds hand. I told him I am taking the watch back but call me when he gets the part. He refused to fix it if I don't leave the watch. He didn't want to take the number or any info he needed for the watch. Refused to do it for no charge even though he lost it. They should change their sign from "we can fix anything" to "we will take days and days and ruin your stuff" Stay far away from this place read more

Customers Beware this guy Steve the owner. I used to trust this guy and brought all of my watches in for new batteries. I even referred other people to him. I recently brought in my gold chain to get soldered for repair which I had him do in the past but I had actually waited there the first time he repaired it so I brought it in again when it broke. When I went to pick up my gold chain two days after I dropped it off, I realized he had swapped my gold chain for some other cheap flimsy chain that was all kinked and tangled and could not come apart. I called him and said that this was not my chain that I had dropped off. He asked me to come down and discuss it but all he did was deny that anything was wrong and insisted that that was the chain that I had dropped off. I obviously know my own jewelry and was very upset for this to have happen from someone I had trusted. After this experience I just want all to beware if you bring in your jewelry that things can be swapped and that he will deny that anything is different. read more
