I really wish I would have gotten a photo of the before to show how horribly warped my rings were, I've lost 50 pounds and lift weights a lot so they were very bent and the prongs were lose. I walked in and was given amazing help in the short amount of time I was there and my rings look brand new. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Over the years, I've had ED Marshall fix lots of jewelry and watches for me. The last time I came in, they fixed my Breitling watch by replacing the scratched crystal with a new sapphire crystal that's much tougher and harder to scratch. It was done relatively quickly and it looks new now. They've also adjusted my watch bands and replaced batteries a few times before. Fast, fair pricing, and professional every time. Even though it was a hectic on a Tuesday morning, I got my watch batteries changed super quick by Jessy. They also had so many nice watches to pick from, and it's great that their store is so close to my place in Phoenix. The service was top-notch and speedy. I was impressed by all the watches and jewelry they had for a smaller store (I used to live in Scottsdale and had visited their main store on Scottsdale Road before). I visited their store on a Saturday right before they were closing to get my watch battery replaced. Jesse was incredibly helpful and replaced the battery very quickly for me. He even kindly tightened up the clasp and buckle on my watch band as it was loose and coming off from time to time. I'm really happy I discovered this shop. We purchased a ring for my husband when he lost his wedding ring, we also purchased a lovely picture, and have purchased several watch batteries. We also brought in some gold pieces that we no longer wanted and received a fair price for them. We have always received friendly, kind, honest, and reliable service from the professional employees of this particular store. Although the store has a nice seating area, I always enjoy browsing the jewelry selections while I wait for the batteries to be changed. Lots of parking and no mall crowds to contend with. I was so nervous not knowing how this works and what to expect. The gentleman at the counter may have sensed my nervousness. While not a customer, I called them twice so see if they could do some work. First instance they said the work had to be shipped to the Scottsdale office and would take over two weeks. Second call was to ask if they would replace some watch batteries. Was told yes but they couldn't guarantee the watch would remain water resistant after they worked on it. Good grief do they hire high school kids to work this office? I'll drive to downtown Phoenix where I know of a competent jeweler who can do some simple tasks. read more

I just went into this store to purchase my daughter a 20th birthday necklace. Maybe spend 2k. There was one salesman and one other customer. The sales man and customer were not wearing masks as mandated in Maricopa county. The sales man told me to " Have a seat there" and pointed to a specific chair. I asked if he minded me looking at the display case. He said "Well I guess you could sit over there." Kinda had a bit of attitude. I told him I don't have time nor the patience for anyone like him and left. Went to Kays and recied excellent service and only spent $1500. What a deal!! I went in to sell some gold and a Tag watch I had and was surprised to see they would not make offer on watch, no big deal there is a soft market right now for watches. Ok now the Gold it was 14K I think it was about .47 so he offers $40.00 so I said no not much money no big deal. So I drove down to Bell Rd to get 2nd opinion. Miss you watch does need battery have to send back to Tag to keep warranty. The place I went to put a battery in $15.00, and there ya go ticking. He offered $400.00 I passed but I was amazed at the cost difference on the gold, he offered $120.00. Horrible! Tried to go in to possibly sell a ring with my girlfriend and was stopped at the door. The gentleman sitting in his butt watching tv asked if we came to sell, we said yes. He then proceed to tell us I'll be back at 9am tomorrow I'm pretty much closed. This was 5:40, 20 minutes prior to the posted closing time. I can tell you I'm not much of a jewelry person, but I went in to have my battery replaced in my Tag watch. Not only did he replace my battery he put a new pin in the wrist (at no charge) that he pointed out was about to fail. When I left I felt as if I owe them more money. They were closed 30 minutes early. The person inside didn't have the decency to come to the door and apologize for closing early. They just whistled loudly and used hand gestures to signal that they were closed and to leave. After years of seeing their commercials, in which they offered to pay more than any one else for gold in fine jewelry, I decided to take some gold jewelry to this business for the purposes of selling it. They made me an offer for that was hundreds of dollars below scrap value for gold on that particular day. I was able to go to a coin dealer who buys scrap gold and received a $300 more than the offer from ED Marshall. Obviously there commercials are not truthful and I would discourage anyone from selling gold to this business without checking scrap value other places. They will rip you off. read more

Run as fast as you can. Today I went into E.D. Marshalls to sell a necklace so that I could make my mortgage payment. I had been hit hard financially this month and had to make the hard decision to sell a necklace that was dear to me. Not only did the gentleman offer me a ridiculous amount, he informed me that he gets a lot of unscrupulous would be clients. I do not know why he felt that I needed to know about his clientele, but I found his behavior offensive and suspect. So the bottom line is that he offered me half the amount that other local businesses were offering and his professionalism left a lot to be desired. read more
