My Good Ole Burger cooked "right on" with Cheese was very good (8.7), along with an order of Hand Cut French Fries.... Got a chance to check out the new Charm City location in Boca. Same great menu just a new updated and renovated location on NW 1st Ave down the street from the Brightline station. Charm city is a landmark in Deerfield and this one is a welcome addition to Boca. Same casual vibe, high-quality comfort food and reasonable prices. Order and pay at the counter and they will bring the food to your table. I had the Foodie- grilled chicken topped with sautéed mushrooms, swiss cheese and a garlic aioli. My husband ordered the Cheffy. He said it was the best sandwich he's had in a long time. Grilled Chicken, bacon, grilled onions, house bleu cheese, sweet chili sauce, lettuce and tomato. I really like this location. It's a little closer to home so when I have that craving for bugers, chicken, fries and onion rings...I know where I'll be heading. read more

I'm truly digging the new location ! I used to frequent the Deerfield Beach location somewhat regularly but at times I avoided because beach days bring is the crowds, events in the Cove plaza attracts many and good food of course will keep the place busy; it's not huge so it gets crowded and tables were (at times) limited.... so Boca Raton location is a welcome addition. I remember way back in the day this was originally the Alcapulco Grill and then another restaurant or two... but being a Charm City is the best resident yet... and more importantly, the place is great. They managed to capture the "charm" of the Deerfield Beach location and yet it feels different. It's larger and has more tables... I would recommend specific burgers or other dishes but why bother... everything is good. Even the side dishes.... fries, tater tots, onion rings; all good. And those milk shakes.... oh yeah ! Most importantly the food is consistent and same flavor as the other location. Like I said, I am truly digging the new location ! read more

Finally got to try the famous Charm City Burger now that it's in Boca. It definitely lives up to its fame with unique creations and fresh ingredients. Try to dine in instead of takeout because a lot of the burgers are saucy and by the time we got home, unfortunately the buns were squishy and not toasted anymore. The flavors were still amazing though. My wagyu gruyere burger on a brioche bun was amazing. The meat patty was cooked perfectly medium or as they call it 'Right On!' My husband ordered a holiday special burger and it had blue cheese with a beef patty. He loved it but you definitely need to have a deep love for blue cheese because it was very potent. We ordered a side of sweet potato fries and it was a huge portion. Again it would've been perfect to eat on site. After being in a paper bag for 15 minutes, the fries were a bit limp. read more

We finally got to try the new Charm City location, and it did not disappoint! It's located in a great spot near Mizner with plenty of parking available. I ordered the Super Grilled Cheese, and my boyfriend ordered the Little Sloppy without the egg. We also got a side of tater tots to share. My grilled cheese was really good. It came with several different cheeses, garlic confit, candied bacon, and bacon jam. I got the blue cheese spread on the side. The sandwich was delicious, although it did have a bit of spice to it. Just be aware that the garlic confit includes quite a few whole garlic cloves. My boyfriend loved his burger and finished it so quickly that I barely got a chance to ask how it was! The tater tots were the star of the meal, perfectly seasoned, crispy, and absolutely delicious. We're looking forward to coming back and trying different items from the menu! read more

We'd had a late brunch, but for some reason I was craving a hotdog a few hours later. We were passing nearby and drove over to check out the "new" location of Charm City Burger. We used to go to their Deerfield beach location all the time. This location is a separate building with its own parking lot on the north side of the street just west of the railroad tracks. It's bright and airy inside. The staff was very nice and helpful. Both while ordering and on delivering our food. You order and pay at the counter and they give you a number to place on your table. My hotdog was grilled well done as requested. I got mustard and ketchup from the side bar near the drinks machine. Relish packets on request. The hot dog was very good! So glad they're here. Next time, I'm definitely trying their blue burger. And their onion rings looked wonderful, too. read more

Normally steer towards smash burgers, but I heard this burger spot couldn't be missed. I stopped by after finished a Spartan Race, and was famished! I ordered the southern belle and sweet potato fries. The burger was enormous! It was fully stuffed with bbq sauce and caramelized onions. The burger patty was thick and juicy. It was amazing! The fries were so crispy and soft on the inside. Definitely one of the best burgers I have tried in SoFL. read more

We have always been fans of Charm Ciry so were excited to visit their new location in East Boca. They did an excellent job renovating this old building and it feels welcoming and clean. There is counter service and open dining room seating with some tables on the open patio. We were greeted at the counter and they explained some.options and specials. We opted for the black amd blue burger which was a large burger with blue cheese and bacon. We also ordered the Emporor, tater tots, and onion rings. You can order burgers alone or as a combo with a side and drink. The food was delivered to our table pretty quickly. You can order your burger cooked to your liking which is great. Everything was delicious! The burgers are among the best in the area. Great buns, perfect burger patty, and generous toppings. The flavors they put together are amazing. We really love their onion rings, too. Great choice for a quick amd reasonable meal. The staff is very friendly and make you feel appreciated. read more

've been curious about this spot ever since I used to drive by the original location in Deerfield. It always seemed packed and clearly has a loyal following. I've been looking forward to this new location opening for about a month. It's actually in the space where a Mexican restaurant I used to visit years ago was located, so it was fun to see something new move in. My burger was excellent. The beef is grass fed, the toppings were fresh, and the charm sauce is seriously next level. Each patty is a third of a pound, so my double cheeseburger was more than enough and definitely left me full. I'd probably skip the fries next time. They were a bit too greasy for my taste, and $5.50 for fries and a drink feels a little steep. I might try the onion rings instead since they looked great at the table next to me. Overall, really solid burger and I can see why people keep coming back. read more

I went to this locations soft opening in Boca Raton. This spot is cute, colorful, & inviting. Charm City Burger (Boca - 2nd location) absolutely delivered. The burger was stacked and juicy with a perfectly toasted sesame bun, melted cheese, and fresh toppings that actually tasted fresh. The fries were golden, crisp, and addictive -- the kind you keep reaching for without realizing it. Now let's talk about the tenders crispy skin, tender inside, and coated in a sticky, flavorful sauce that hit every note. No sogginess, no shortcuts -- just done right. I originally wanted the wings but they do not offer wings at this location just a heads up. As a side, the onion rings were my favorite, they were battered and fried so goood!!! Everything came out hot, seasoned perfectly, and clearly made with care. Service was great, the cashier asked if I had been to their other location and I have not so he gave me some awesome recommendations. Staff was friendly and attentive. Such a nice treat to have a new location for Charm City! It's been a long time since I've enjoyed their food, and I'm glad I went again. Hopefully I'll be able to go more often when I'm living back in Boca so I can venture and try more menu items, but this time I had to go with the classic charm city cheeseburger and tater tots! Couldn't skip out on the onion rings, even if it was a little overkill for 1 meal. My girlfriend went with the French fries, and those might've been even better than the tots and rings, but they were all fantastic. Only negative was the lack of help by the young lady who took my order, as if she expected everyone to be a charm city menu expert. A little patience when answering questions can go a long way! First visit to their new location in Boca, but have visited their original spot for years. Full disclosure, I also enjoy(ed) two of their other projects at El Jefe Luchador and Rebel House. There wasn't really anything not to like about their latest launch. Larger seating capacity as well as parking lot. The service was friendly and reasonably fast. The place had a nice vibe and even though the garage door was closed, I appreciated the potential. The fries and onion rings were freshly made, not frozen...which if you've read my prior reviews you know that I'm a stickler about that. Our burgers were delicious, not much surprising on that count. The ONLY drawback is that they didn't have their Phillie Cheesesteak as an option...yet, fingers crossed. If not in the future, then I'll head to Deerfield. read more

We have been waiting for Charm City to open in 2nd location in Boca. 201 NW 1st Ave , Boca, 33432 We arrived at 5 pm this past Friday. It was not busy but 30 min later it was BUSY. I ordered the Good Ol' Boy combo and Bob ordered the Cowboy. Food came out quickly and perfectly prepared. Only issue was the French Fries were cool. This was immediately resolved with a new batch, very fresh . I have to say the beverage cups are unique!! They list all things to see & do in Boca -good PR for our area!! Great place ! read more

You'll find the same great burgers as the original DB location, but strangely, although it has double the space, it has half the customers. I hope it catches on in Boca. It's a convenient location with their own parking lot. I wish they would figure out a way to make all the contents stay in place instead of slip-sliding and falling apart as you eat the burger. There must be a way! The lettuce and tomatoes are just too soft and wet. read more

I've been a fan of Charm City for around 10 years. Critics will say you can go around the corner to Flannigans and get their burger special for $5 less but for me it's about taste. Better beef, better bun, better fries etc... love me a Charm City burger. They also have milk shakes. read more

Unfortunately, this place didn't live up to the hype for the opening. This downtown location is very cramped and it makes parking difficult, if you can find a spot. The Deerfield location has great food, but unfortunately that is not the case here. The burger was dry, small and underwhelming. One can definitely get a better burger at Applebee's for a lower price. That's about 20 bucks when you include the combo, not cheap at all. Aside from that, they don't offer affiliate this location, the soda machine was broken and they had fans on while it was about 40° outside. Needless to say, we will not be going back. read more

I've been reading so much about these hamburgers not that I eat hamburgers but my husband's and friends do that. I thought we just have to give it a try so we went on a Friday night at 6 o'clock. I must say there wasn't one parking space available in their 30 Parking Pl. lot. People were busy walking in and carrying out and eating in there. They way it works as you go up to the front you give them your order. they give you a number and they bring it back to you at the table the hamburger my husband is the hamburger lover said it was good but not outstanding. I had the tuna burger, which I loved came lettuce, wrapped just the way I would like it. The other people had the hamburger and they said it was good. We had sweet potato fries, which I must say was outstanding as were the french fries. I would like to try it again to try their veggie burger. Today I visited Charm City Burger as I was craving a hot dog. Charm was the only restaurant that came to mind. It was fantastic, I had the hot dog with sautéed onions and American cheese.. my husband had a plain hot dog and we split hand cut potato chips with salt and vinegar. The homemade chips were freshly made and had great flavor. The ambiance is nice too, fun to watch the trains cruise by. We will definitely be back! read more

Disappointed- I ordered Sweet potato fries and a salad. The fries were soft and soggy. I had to throw out. The salad was missing some key ingredients. Drove past the Deerfield restaurant for about 10 years it's in an odd spot tough to park so I never went there so when I stumbled upon this in Boca, I had to try it upon entering a place was very clean. Staff very friendly walked to the counter ordered a single burger with fries came out pretty quick. I was first of all impressed by the soft pillow bun. The burger was good. The fries were good, but oddly there was no fry longer than about 2 inches. It was kind of weird wasn't bad , wasn't great but with all the burger places nowadays, you really have to stand out. This is my second visit. I came in on a Thursday evening for dinner the place was packed. The staff was really working hard to accommodate everyone. I tried the redneck chicken sandwich for the first time and I won't get it again simply because the chicken filet was too thick and a little bit chewy. Everything else on it was great.
