We confirmed the time and place again one week prior. She was an hour late for my hair trial, then cancelled entirely (morning of) a week later for my scheduled haircut. Then, she didn't show up on my wedding day. After calling/texting for 30 minutes after she was supposed to be there, she said she had a sick dog and couldn't make it. Just a heads up to any future brides.

As I have very fine, thin hair, I wanted someone who could make sure it stays healthy. I was completely sold when I met Mikayla and saw how knowledgeable she was (she was not the hairstylist who ended up doing my hair). To the point, I drove 5 hours to ensure I was doing what was best for my hair. Due to scheduling conflicts, they had to switch stylists. Within the first day of installation, I had K-tips coming out. I approached the salon about the issue. They took several days to get back to me. Even though they were aware I was not local. By this time, I had more than 10 K-tips fall out. When I met with the stylist, there was little to no accountability, and she said that she would contact the owner. I contacted the salon on Friday and heard nothing until midday on Sunday, and I was the one who sent the follow-up text.They said it was my brushing. I had no contact from the owner- or solutions sent to me. I would've expected a more timely response and better education with how much I paid. Since then, I have switched to brushing exactly how the stylist recommended (from a video taken after their resolution), and they continue to fall out. The hair knots easily, and no matter how much conditioner I use at the ends, they slip out, and the knots stay. Tonight, I had 5 k-tips slide out after brushing it very delicately. I would not recommend this salon purely due to their lack of accountability, their unwillingness to fix issues, and that they will not resolve things in a timely manner even when they know you are from out of town. I was so excited as a paramedic student to have extensions that would hold up to my job- yet they can't even hold up to normal daily tasks. I'm incredibly disappointed- and frustrated with this result with how much I paid and how they presented themselves. Save yourself the money and time.
