The pedicure chairs are wonderful! Usually someone comes by with cold cans of sparkling water, which makes me feel pampered and valued. Lily C is a delight to spend time with as she does my builder gel nails. She's artistic and can do anything if you bring her an inspiration photo. One thing I really appreciate: I lost a fingernail in an accident and it has taken forever to get it to grow back in a healthy way. She's advised me on the right way to treat my nail and is always extra careful so it doesn't hurt. I always enjoy talking with her, too! I am moving to Spain next month and she will be missed. The only other thing I'd mention (and it's still 5 stars!) is that interior is dated and could use a refresh and tidying up. It would be worth closing for a few days to give the place a makeover. This is a superficial thing yet there are lots of choices for nail salons in Boulder and I'd like to see Planet Nails' interior reflect the excellent service and wonderful people that work there.

She was impatient almost the entire time and would get aggravated and would cut me off whenever I would ask a simple question about my cuticles or asking if she can cut a nail more since it was uneven. When she was cutting and filing my nails, she constantly kept nicking me and was cutting deeply in my skin on 5 DIFFERENT fingers. It constantly was stinging and throbbing even after I left!! I'm so saddened by this, especially since last time it was a great experience for me. But if one nail technician is able to hurt me this bad, I can no longer trust other technicians.
