Went in to close out a checking account that I no longer needed and to deposit some money into my savings account. Was met by an extremely rude and abrasive teller (female with tattoos and short hair !) they should keep her away from customers maybe put her in the drive through where people don't have to suffer through the exchange! read more

Tyler was absolutely amazing he is a 5 start....However I am making this a 1 star for teamwork and professionalism on the 2 woman present today. It was extremely disappointing to be there trying to make an appointment to come back to open an account and witnessing poor teamwork and respect. Two women that worked there with closed windows were whispering amongst each-other while interrupting our conversation and him providing excellent service. Telling him to go attend to the drive thru while there was also a line almost out the door. They didn't try to help or see what they could do to be helpful. They sat there creating a very negative situation and poor words and body language to Tyler. Tyler the whole time kept his composure and professionalism that those 2 lacked. Team work is lacking in this building. If those woman were management that's even more disheartening as they should provide support and help to staff and customers. Peter from Chase bank #146 went above and beyond normal customer service,Peter noticed that I was double charged on my mint mobile and he got me immediate service to customer service and he even dialed it up and made sure I was satisfied. I sat in the drive through behind another customer for 10 minutes did them to tell me the drive through is closed today. I have an issue walking as well as small children and will be changing banks to one who doesn't pick and choose who should get to use the drive through. read more

becareful of chase they like to put temporary credits into your account with out telling you then wait until your bank account is almost empty then take it back out and causing multiple fees that you have to pay then back. Stay away from chase bank! read more

This review is for chase employee, Dorthy. I was having a hectic day last week and needed to make a deposit. I have a problem sometimes doing things like this because I have a brain injury that makes it difficult at times. I approached Dorthy who was the next available teller. I wanted some cash back and quickly realized I would have to pull cash from several different accounts. Plus make a deposit that would be on hold. No way could I figure that out on this day. Come to the rescue, Dorthy! She quickly did all the paperwork for me. Three different withdraws from three different accounts. Plus the deposit. She didn't make me feel small and quickly my embarrassment disappeared. And Dorthy was pleasant the whole time and just plain sweet. Dorthy is a great asset to Chase Bank and the human race. I was greatly touched by her compassion. I have no doubt she will excel in life. Thank you Dorthy. read more

This saga begins with the sad news of the passing of my mother-in-law, around mid February of 2022. My wife was her beneficiary and signer on all of Her accounts .When everything else was settled (around the end of march 2022) with my mother-in-law's funeral, burial, and all bills paid, my wife went to JP Morgan Chase Bank to close her accounts which again she was a signer on. The branch manager informed my wife that the bank has policies in place which would not allow the account to be closed until 60 days had passed because the deceased had a direct deposit from Social Security set up on the account. After 60 days had passed my wife made a return trip to our local branch and was told again, that the account could not be closed, this time because Social Security may still need to take back funds that were direct deposit and that a form 4258 would be required from Social Security Administration, so off to wait in line at SSA office only to be told that no such form exists from SSA and the deceased was entitled to all funds that had been deposited, Social Security Administration Green book policy states that 60 days is the hold period to which the banks are entitled. Back to the bank she goes and relays the conversation with the branch manager who makes phone calls including to the SSA office and her upper management then relays conversations back to my wife, who is still overwhelmed with grief at her mothers passing and would simply like to refocus and carry on with grieving, and life in general, that JP Morgan Chase has (Policies) in place which do not allow for the account to be closed for 120 days. When said amount of time had passed, it was time for another trip to our local branch. This time the grieving daughter was told that she would have to make an appointment to close the account, so the earliest convenient appointment was set for a few days later. My wife returned on set appointment day and waited for the branch manager to appear. Today, 6/30/22 the branch manager appears and leads us to a cubicle, sits us down and begins looking up the account in question, submitting the required information and gets a reply that the account still can't be closed due to JPMorgan Chase Policy which states that because Federal funds were deposited the hold on closing the account is 180 days. Now, the account doesn't have a large balance, so that is not the the issue. read more

I will be writing about Chase Corporate after this review. Every time I had an issue with the automated machines, a nice man was always inside to help me out so A+ to him. What gives this branch only 3 stars is their lack of contact via the phone. You try to call to set up an appointment with a banker and you get a recording stating they were busy and to call back! What is wrong with leaving a number and having them call me back? After all, I am their customer. You are unable to leave a message - they tell you to call back later. What has happened to the Chase that I remember years ago?? So the only reason they got 3 stars is because of the nice man that is there to make sure customers know how to use their automated machines. That is how Chase is going to run things in the future...no more tellers just automated machines. read more

I wish I could give zero stars! My husband and I were interested in joining Chase and wanted to open 2 NEW accounts. It's hard to get in since we work full time (8 to 5). We walked in and no one was waiting. Two men were speaking to EACH OTHER behind the counter and didn't even acknowledge us. We asked if it's too late to open accounts and one of the men said "Yes it is but we can schedule an appointment...I'll be with u in a minute." Didn't even crack a smile! And he continued talking with his associate. We felt as though we were a nuisance. The lack of good service made us turn around and walk right back out! read more

Have your elderly parents avoid Chase. My mother has an account there and was in the hospital. I need to make a deposit on her account to cover her monthly expenses and Chase refused to take a cash deposit because I was not on the account. Now not only do I have to live through the stress of my mothers heart attach and recovery but to get the money she needs into her account I have to go to another business and purchase a money order or deposit the money into my account then use my debit card to deposit to her account - great job Chase. I will have all my mothers accounts transferred from this horrible establishment as soon as possible, if your getting along in years CHASE is not the bank for you! read more

Went in today to get my debit card reissued. I lost it again so I physically went in to get help from A banker. However ten minutes into waiting to be seen. The shifty type A personality bank manager comes over and asked what they're doing for me today. I responded by stating that I would like to have my debit card reissued and printed by the branches debit card machine because I had lost it again. He asked me how many times and I said this will be my third one. His response to this was that his bank would not be reassuring me my own debit card and that I needed to go and call 1 800 chase bank. On his bank booth phone In order to talk To a person in India to have them cancel my card and reissue my debit and then have it sent to me in the mail. I still don't have my debit card because of this bank manager. And I know he was just trying to make it difficult because he could. After all the person in line right before me had their card reissued and printed with no hassle what so ever. Worst service ever. I just wanted to spend my own money. read more

number one focus is to automate to the max extent possible. I use them because of the number of branches and ATMs. Their customer service is going downhill rapidly. I need to get off my ass and join a credit union where the understand customer service. I had to call 10 times just to set up an appointment to get a title notarized. I used to be able to just wAlk in and get it done, you might have to wait 15 mins but never used to be asked to leave and come back later. After being a Chase customer for over 30 years, I am closing my accounts. I always believed the people in a bank are supposed to offer "CUSTOMER SERVICE". Apparently the good people, especially the manager, of this branch do not know the meaning of these two words. I read the negative reviews when I moved to this area and decided to find out myself whether or not they were true. Guess what?? They Are!! I recently had foot surgery and as I am still wearing the boot am unable to drive. I sent my husband to the bank with a small cash deposit and cash for my car payment. He had my bank card, license and his own ID. He is not on the account, but is listed on the account as POD. He was informed very curtly by the manager that they could not take cash from him regardless of the circumstances. We spoke on the phone and he told me that he would "make this happen". His way of making this happen was to suggest that my husband purchase some overpriced money orders and use them. Glad to know that management is always ready to make a buck for their employer. His other suggestion was to go to Walmart and purchase some money orders come back and use them. This was not what we wanted to hear. My husband, a disabled veteran, had to bring me to the bank and I completed the transaction. Bank policy is bank policy but to receive so little compassion and from someone who enjoys trying to look down his nose at the customers is unacceptable, My husband told him that he had an attitude problem. Kyle's response was "I don't think I have an attitude problem" I have deposited cash into my husbands account at another bank without issue on several occasions. I must agree with the other negative reviewers. I don't think anyone should have to listen to someone who DOES INDEED have an attitude problem , much less give them our money. We are going to "speak with our money" and move it elsewhere. read more
