    The atm machines always seem to be out of service and when they're available the line is always long and it's in a very bad area of Long Beach.

    One open teller at lunch time and two people assisting with ATM transactions. I wonder what the A in ATM stands for here? 40 minutes in line just to find out theres a $6 fee to cash a Chase check. Im going to my Wells Fargo where the lines are short and the lollipops are free.

    Horrible locations! Always long lines at night and in the daytime now too. Since they're forcing everyone to use machines!

    This location is absolutely horrible. There is always a line for the ATM, the one inside the doors never open. Inside during the day when they're open it's worse. There is always THE LONGEST LINES , now that they want to force everyone to use the machines and took away all the tellers . In case you don't know, now they want to force everyone to use the machines. They claim it's for better, faster service and all it is is losing them a ton of customers. My next check I am literally moving to Wells Fargo immediately. They are not forcing their customers to use ATM machines during business hours and are not cutting down on staff at all. Inside during the day when they're open it's just horrible! Plus this location is cold and stuffy inside. Not warm and friendly .

I came in hoping for help with a specific issue. Initially, Sonia was attentive and seemed willing to assist. However, once I explained my situation, her only solution was to hand me a phone number to call. After spending time on that call and receiving absolutely no help, I returned to the branch expecting additional guidance or at least an attempt to explore other options. Instead, rather than investigating further or offering alternative solutions, Sonia immediately shifted the conversation toward selling me a line of credit. At that point, it felt less like customer service and more like a sales pitch. When she involved the manager, I hoped the situation would improve. Unfortunately, it did not. The manager appeared uninterested in resolving the issue and simply suggested that Sonia continue assisting me, despite the fact that no actual assistance was being provided. Roxanne was particularly disappointing. She came across as dismissive, indifferent, and unwilling to help. Customer service requires listening, problem-solving, and showing at least a basic level of empathy. Throughout my interaction, I experienced none of those qualities. I understand that not every problem has an immediate solution, but customers deserve effort, professionalism, and genuine assistance, not sales pitches and dismissal. This being my first experiences, it's difficult to have confidence in the level of service provided at this branch.

I've passed by this branch many times but would rarely go inside to see the teller, instead opting to use the scan to get into the door for the ATM. Having had good experiences at my SchoolFirst Branch in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley, I knew this branch was not the exception. MARTIN, the teller 3290, warmly greeted me as I walked in, having no other patrons in front of me. Martin has the unique ability of asking how your day was, as he quietly carries out the transaction. His charismatic nature in holding a conversation and actually being genuinely excited in my life made me smile. I can tell when people are genuine and Martin was one of the best and should appropriately be commended. He made me feel better walking out of the branch than walking in! I don't know who trains these tellers but they are top-notched. After experiencing the horrendous experience of another bank that include stagecoaches on behalf of my dad, this is the exact opposite! As an educator, I feel like my time here is well spent.
