Located in the heart of downtown Pomona. Beautiful structure and private parking. When it gets crowded parking is tight because it is adjacent to private parking for another building. You can't tell because there's no sign or cones to separate the two areas. You won't know until the parking attendant scolds you for parking in the wrong area. There's 4 ATM's located outside. It's shaded to protect customers from rain. Inside there's a seating area with free coffee for customers. Nice touch. Although coffee isn't really warm, but what can you expect for free? I think customer service needs to improve. Nobody will ask you if you need anything even while they are sitting at their desk clearly doing nothing (e.g. staring from across the room). The lines can get long and yet they have the minimum tellers servicing customers. read more

Well, this place has 2 other one star reviews for a reason. The service here is sub-par. Well almost beyond sub-par. The lines are very long, no matter what day you go and what time. The only bank worse is the Bank of America on White and Mission, which has a line about double the length. The tellers are sometimes nice, but more often are rude. When you open an account, they seem to falsify information just so they can get their commission for a new account opened. And waiting for that is ridiculous. There is a lot of parking though, but I don't think that's that much of a perk for banking at this location. Oh, and if you have to cash a check written upon a Chase bank, they make you pay a fee if you don't have an account. Certain accounts are exempt, such as when my insurance company paid out for an accident, but for the most part, you need an account, otherwise they charge you a bullshit $10 fee or something ridiculous. I'm surprised these people aren't doing bad like Bank of America, because they're starting to morph into BofA. read more

I think unfortunately & automatically this bank ranks low because of how not user friendly chase is online soooo some location had to take one for their team... and it definitely makes sense that this is the location. I almost feel like your damned if you do and damned if you don't take your purse in... the struggle with; well if I leave my bag in my car the chances of my purse tires rims and tint being gone is pretty high... BUT being jumped by an employee if I bring my bag inside with me is like 50/50. This bank is scary... And every single time I would come In here they are almost surprised at the transactions I request, hahahaha seriously and I don't like the verbiage that they have either... "you get me" is definitely not what I want my banker to be asking me?! Also, why would I stand in the business banking line if your gonna take two customers per one on the chase banking line? Went in here trying to do a Wire Transfer to another Domestic Bank with my OWN cash money. Some pompous latino guy with glasses talked to me like I was a scammer even though I have been banking with Chase since I was old enough to open a bank account. So after he tells me he wont do the wire for no reason, I ask him for a cashiers check and he tells me this. "Yeah you have to go to the front and make sure you face the cameras" with a snide smirk. Next think I did was went to that line and withdrew all the money I had in my chase account and brought it to Citibank. CITIBANK IN CHINO HILLS WILL TREAT YOU FAR BETTER. I dropped my son off at this branch today so that he could open his first bank account EVER with his first earned paycheck EVER. The plan was to open a "New Total Checking Account With Direct Deposit". Upon arriving he was greeted by a banker by the name of Melvin. Who explained to my son that he needed to have a coupon in order to open this type of account and that he would need to come back later when he has it..... (come back later??? Are you serious???) My son called me to come back and pick him up (I had literally just dropped him off during my lunch break). He explained to me that he needed to come back later with a "coupon". I did go back to the bank but not to pick him. I went directly to speak with Melvin myself. I asked him if there was anything he could do to help his new, very young customer. I asked him if there was anything he could advise his new young customer to do in lieu of sending him away? (Needless to say Melvin had a shocked look on his face) Melvin then advised my son to sign up on their website with his email and that he would receive the coupon. My son followed the instructions and the coupon was obtained. Why did I need to go back there to intervene? Basically, I was outraged that Melvin the banker was going to try and get away with such terrible customer service. He could have just explained to his customer how to obtain the coupon. Easy. He DID NOT need to send his customer away!! I worked in a grocery store for about 8 years and if a customer of mine did not have a coupon I would explain to them how to get it. I have been coming to this Chase branch a lot in the past four years because it is right next to my University. This is one busy branch, and the tellers are usually not in the bestest of moods. But I keep coming back because it is very convenient. Oh and they also have "fresh" coffee, keep in mind that I use the term "fresh" loosely in this case :) Parking sometimes can be a pain, especially since the lot is shared with Western University. The spaces are tightly laid out and there is a funky random one way entrance. If you happen to go the wrong way you will get yelled at by the random parking attendant. Trust me I have witnessed this first hand. read more

I have been coming here for 12 years. The service is just like every other bank which is good; however, service went bad in the last 2 weeks and forever starting now as it seems. This review is about the normal line and the business line. My new waiting time now went from less than 5 minutes to 15 because they cut down to 2 tellers, replacing other tellers with machines. Yes, I know how much make deposit and withdraw with the machine but as a business customers, I do others things that I cannot use a machine. Close your Account and go to BOA across the street, their business line is so much better and faster. read more

I have been a chase member since it took over Washington mutual. I have not had any bad service until today. I recently got married and need to change my name. Since I went to the dmv, got my temp license (which includes my license number) and my old driver's license, I decided to go to the bank to continue the process. I also brought in my certified marriage license. The branch would not update my information with my licenses nor would they look at my marriage license. Luckily I have a high school friend that is a branch manager at another chase branch. After I posted my frustrations, she looked up chase policies and with the documents I had, it is enough to update my information. I will try another branch. But do not go to this branch! read more

I have had nothing but good experiences at this location. Deby and staff have been very courteous, and professional. I requested some old information from my mortgage and I thought it was going to be a hassle but Deby and staff did a great job on retrieving this information they also went out of their way and called me along with an e-mail when the documents where ready. Avoid this place at all cost. This place is a zoo! I didn't know this was a daycare center. There seemed to be more kids than adults. Some of the children were placed to sit high up on the counters at the level of the teller's glass by their parents during the transaction, which is very unprofessional and could produce a healthy lawsuit for the parents if the child were to fall. Meanwhile other children were jumping on the couch/seating, running around, occasionally bumping into the windows and laying on the floor. The line was extremely long. There were approximately three bank tellers working and approximately seven empty teller windows. Customer service is horrible. This place is just a nightmare. I finally arrive at the counter to deposit money into my wife's account and after standing in line for 20+ minutes, I was told that I could no longer deposit money into her account. I've never had a problem depositing money into her account before. Well, I have an idea. If you're going to change your policy, MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE a sign/signs outside of, or at least located somewhere within your building, stating that your policy/policies have changed so that people similar to me, that deposit money for their wives while she's at work, don't stand in line for close to half an hour! I've told my wife about my bank (Bank of the West) and how there is virtually no waiting, excellent customer service etc. She only used this bank because it was convenient. The worst banking experience I have ever had in my entire life. They try pretty hard to push getting an account with Chase. I bank with credit union not related to Chase and was bombarded with all types of information about how Chase is so much superior than my current bank. The sales techniques used by their staff are down right aggressive and ruthless. I am appalled because the manager was standing behind the teller the entire time allowing this behavior to occur. After the fourth "no thanks" I had to change to "please take my money so I can be on my way." I will not be a return customer and will inform as many people as possible to avoid this Chase Bank. read more
