I rarely go to bank. The time i went in, there was a greeter and asked me to go to a banker to open a cd . The banker i was talwas rude and unprofessional, made sarcastic comments and asked social security loudly. On other branch i remember the banker asked me to write down all personal informations. Then i asked to talked to someone else it gets a little better and get the job done, although took so long to open a cd account (25+ minutes including one failed signing and printing) If you don't have to talk to a banker, i think it is better do your business online or through a machine :). read more

This CHASE Bank is located inside the Union Landing Shopping Center, next door to the Vitamin Shoppe. It's very convenient to come to this CHASE while inside Union Landing. As we walked inside this CHASE Bank, we we're greeted with a "Hello, how are you today". Not to mention they were pretty busy and we still got a greeting, that's pretty good service. Service here at this CHASE Branch is great, fast, and friendly. There are 3 ATM Machines inside this Chase. Including a Drive Thru ATM in the back of the bank. Plenty of parking as well. read more

HORRIBLE BANK and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I've had an account with them for several years and never had a problem up until now. Every single time you come in there is a wait for 30+ minutes to see a banker. They are so slow and don't care. I've been going back and forth with this bank over my money being moved around and they can't seem to find the problem. I had to literally do my own digging to find what the problem was. Then I had money taken out of my savings for some odd reason. I had a cashier check I needed to deposit, but the teller could not find my account, BUT I SEE IT ON THE APP. WTF? First time in this branch .. the greeter was great the Banker was Horrible!! Bad attitude and bad communication skills. She's a tall lady with short hair. She has a very cold and rude demeanor. I came to this branch hoping to close and open an account. She was so rude trying to interrogate me why and how I manage to have my savings converted to a checking .. blah blah.. bottom line .. it's still my money. If you have no patience explaining to your clients. You shouldn't be a banker that deals with people face to face. Supervisor came in an apologized. She was fine and gave me options. I would rate 0 star if I can for the worst Chase branch ever. I came in to submit supportive documents for my credit card rejection and the lady told me to sit and wait but then I sat for 20 mins but no one came and said anything other than that. Until I got someone who can help he just simply walked out and said the computer is down so he couldnt do anything. Why didnt he or anyone in that branch told the customers that the system dont work and ask them to come back next time or at least giving them a heads up so they wont waste 30mins just to wait and then ended up walking out like this? No prior communication here and the guy who supposed to help me talk to me with attitude saying I cant do anything because the system is down. I came in yesterday for the first time ever to finally open a naming account. I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect, but when I walked in I was greeted by a nice guy who asked why I was there and then told me where to wait. Not even 4 minutes passed when Andrea came out and helped me open up the account. Andrea answered all my questions before I even asked them and she was so sweet and made me feel really comfortable and like I wasn't getting myself into some trouble but I was starting something awesome! She even showed me how to use the ATM which was so awesome of her. Best bank I've ever been to everyone is so friendly and the place is so clean with little to no wait at all! They also have ATMS available after hours that are still somewhat inside so it makes everything safe. Plus a bonus drive thru ATM around back, so cool! read more

This is my bank though! The drive thru is my favorite. It's convenient and safe! Every time I've actually gone in, I've been served with nothing but kindness :) TIP: Make sure you transfer money from your savings to checkings when you overdraft or else they charge you like ~$30 per day! TIP#2: You only get a limited number of transfers per month if you do it online or else you get charged. If you have the time, do it at the bank! TIP#3: Download the Chase app! I've been using this branch ever since they opened at Union Landing, but this review is specifically about their online "Quick Pay" service. If you need to transfer money immediately to pay another person (not a merchant), this works great. But when you use it for the first time, you will be contacted by phone by Chase to verify the transaction. After I made the online transaction, my account became locked, unknown to me until the bank called a minute later. They asked me "do you know the person you're sending this to? what are they going to do with it? how long have you known this person?" ...etc. I was also asked to prove I was the owner of the account. This may seem like an annoyance but this proves their security systems to protect my account is excellent. My friend receives his funds within 5 minutes after all the bank verifications. read more

Very frustrated with my experience with this bank. This is my first time with Chase and I opened my account almost two months ago and still haven't received my debit card. During this time, less than two days after I received my TEMPORARY debit card, my information was STOLEN, and I had almost $300 taken from my account. I called and made a claim, and it was handled in a few days, thankfully. However, it had been several days and I still had not received my permanent debit card, so I went into the bank and called several times and was given a few different responses on different occasions. On the phone I was told to continue to wait for it and then when I was fortunate enough to have what I can assume to be the store manager be my teller a few days later, he told me I should wait until the end of the week and if it hasn't come, to come in and get a new one. So I did. I ordered a new one, I then waited another two + weeks, never received my card AGAIN. I then sat down with a banker for the THIRD time in less than two months on July 3rd to order ANOTHER debit card and asked if I could verify that my address was correct- it was not. With the amount of times (3 in total) that I sat down with a banker, nobody bothered to ask if my address was correct? The banker then told me to call back on July 5th to ask for the UPS tracking number so I may know what time my new debit card will be arriving so I can be home to sign for it. I call back as she asked (@ 10:30AM on a Thursday), I called for about 20 minutes; a total of 23 phone calls, NO ANSWER. Once I FINALLY was put on hold, I heard about two minutes of elevator music, the phone rang a second time, and then I was hung up on. I called back and finally got through to someone. She had NO IDEA what I was talking about in regards to needing the tracking number for my debit card, I was then asked whom I spoke with. I told her. She got back on the phone with me and told me she was going to transfer me to the woman I spoke with on the 3rd. I listened to another two minutes of elevator music, the phone rang, and it HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN. I finally received a call three minutes later from the original banker who told me to call and ask for the tracking number. She said she is going to have to call me back tomorrow because UPS hasn't processed the request yet. I am now waiting for my new card to be "rush ordered" by UPS, which is inconvenient because I work, and they are delivering it "any time before 3PM" on a work day, and if nobody is there to sign for it then I am going to have another issue to deal with. The only nice thing I have to say is that the staff for the most part is friendly and sympathetic of my situation. read more

All these people giving bad reviews sometimes I wonder if they came to the branch and gave these nice people attitudes. Sorry guys, I have to side with the tellers and bankers at Chase, I've always had positive experiences while coming here. But that's life, if you treat the person you're trying to work with, with respect, chances are, they'll help you in any and every way they can, and bend over backwards. Yaye for their drive-thru ATM but boo that I'm one of those idiots that don't drive close enough to it and I have to get out..lol. What is it?? I started out over 15 years ago with Home Savings and Loan, which bought by WAMU. Both of those banks are why I maintained the account through the years. I realize to remain competitive banksmust automate many of the transactional processes but the lack of personalization coupled poor customer service, the highest fees in the industry are indicators that they simply do not care about customers. Today I closed all of my accounts with Chase and opened a new account at a Credit Union! They have no fees and actually care about your business. Frankly I could care less if this bank went bankrupt. I don't bank with Chase. I have a Amazon Visa with Chase. I went in to make a payment and the teller processed it as a withdrawal which has a lower limit than sliding the card and it was declined. I asked her to slide instead of withdrawal, she told me I cannot use the same card in this branch today and recommended me to go to another branch. Also worth noting, when you get to the tell, notice how filthy the corners are and behind the computer. No one smiles in this branch. I would never bank with this branch. Joke. read more

This has got to be the slowest location. The "welcoming attendant" harasses you about why you're there. I went in to withdraw because my card was lost. He asked questions about if i have my card on Apple Pay. In my mind I'm thinking if i didn't wouldn't i be at the kiosk? He filled out a withdraw form to save me a couple seconds for when i got to the window? They couple seconds doesn't put a dent in the 15-20 minute wait in line as only 2 tellers move slow as molasses. My goodness i hope i never have to come back to this nosey slow branch again. Absolutely the worst customer service. The branch manger told me he would loose his job if he cashed my $700 payroll check lol!!!!! The nerve. His excuse was that he was unable to verify the check. Didn't even take a second to look at my account , my avg balance or the fact that we usually have direct deposit. Our account is also one of their premier accounts (don't recall the proper name). Its unacceptable that a multi billion dollar bank is unable to take into account a customer and cash a small very small check. Payroll check at that. I write this review after too many bad experiences. I will only list the last three here: 1. I met w/ a personal banker to add my name to a business account, signed docs, told all was done. Weeks later when I was attempting to complete an urgent transaction I was not able to because my name was never added. 2. I did not like the way the person in charge of locking the doors at the closing time treated a Mexican lady who had walked in to be serviced at 4 PM. She was hurried out as she pleaded that she needed to get funds to buy food & the ATM was not an option for her. I have seen other people walk in at 4 PM and be serviced. Everyone needs to be treated the same! 3. Today I was attempting to obtain help on an urgent matter. Per the teller, the manager would only be able to help me by appointment only the following week. There's so much convenience in this bank. No long lines, no long wait, love the employees, my favorite is Andy, very accommodating and always cheerful! But, last Tuesday, had a horrible experienced to a particular banker which was the first time I seen her during my entire 5 banking years to this Chase branch. After I spent the entire Tuesday morning searching for my last check book but to no avail, I decided to go to the bank. I was greeted right away by a male employee and I asked for a banker. I told the banker that I lost my checkbook and would like to ask for a stop payment on the remaining checks. Firstly, she didn't offer a seat that I have to asked her if I can be seated. Offering a customer a seat should be initiated. This banker, simply didn't! Secondly, I asked for a stop payment to the remaining checks, her response in NO. And so, I told her can you find out the last check # that I issued and anything after that # is what I would like to stop payment. She asked me, what is that check #??? So, I replied, I don't know, I don't have a record, I don't have the checkbook any longer. Thirdly, she said, do you know which account is that? I was surprised? For me, definitely, it's my checking, right? She said, I got two checking, one is converted from SA to Checking. So, I was, ok , the original checking account definitely. Lastly, she asked me how many checkbooks did I request?!?! I said, I'm not sure, it always came in a pack, perhaps 3 or 4 or 5??? It's been months ago. She said 100 total, so I said, ok 100 total and so how many checkbooks could that be??? She said four checkbooks. I quickly told her, there you go, you have the answer. Why throwing back to me questions that I'm asking you when you have the informations in front of you??? Simple inquiries from an ordinary client like me that can be answered easily but she simply can't. I worked in several banks for 10 years. Every transactions, big or small is stored in the system. What upsets me more is her arrogant manner. She made me feel dumb by not able to answer questions that she is supposed to provide to me when informations were in front of her! I was very upset that I didn't continue my transactions anymore. I told her that I would prefer to go to somebody else and she replied, "fine, you may" . What a joke! Her attitude as a banker is very surprisingly! I went back in line and was politely approached by another banker, her name is Andrea. Unaware, she was on the other side of the cubicle and witnessed my encounter to that first banker. I only discussed to Andrea briefly my concerns, exactly the same inquiries that I discussed to the first banker. Andrea provided it all to me, no effort, no sarcasms, very businesslike. Andrea provided to me the remaining checks # and put a stop payment on those. She told me, the # of checkbooks that was issued to me which was 4 total. Everything that was unanswered by the first banker got answered by Andrea. I knew, she can, the first banker can and still don't understand why she can't. I can't believe how the first one, became banker. Thankful to Andrea for her quickness to response to the situation and to her professionalism. Five star goes out to Andrea and to every knowledgeable and friendly staff in this bank. read more

They have the absolute worst customer service of all Chase Banks. The teller was rude and impatient. He yanked the ATM card from my hand and inserted it to the machine without saying a word because I was a little slow. He made the selection on the ATM screen without my permission while I was signing my check. When I asked him to break a few 100's to smaller denominations, he counted the 20's but just gave me a stack of 5's then walked away, again without saying a word. I asked for 20 $5 notes. What if the stack contained less or more money? This was unprofessional! read more

We miss WaMu! The jury is still out on whether Chase will do us all good. Former WaMu employees are now the "red headed stepchild" and have had to adjust to an immense amount of changes...whether those changes make sense or not! Kudos to this staff who continue to bust their butts daily.
