Hey everyone, This is a long overdue review. I went to Patelco Bank Fremont branch. I bought a car in February from KIA. Unfortunately, my loan interest was too high. As high as 8.76%. However, I started looking to refinance immediately. I have had financed cars with Patelco Bank before so I decided to go back to them. I went to Fremont branch there I met with Madhuri. Very sweet and yet professional in her work. She gathered all of my information and told me I will get a call. Sure thing! She called and said Mr. Singh, we were able to bring your interest score down to 6.6%. That's more than 2 points drop and more in future. So, If you need to refinance your car. Patelco Credit Union location is in Fremont ,CA off of Mowry Ave. I have visited the branch location of priorly making online on phone scheduled appointments for servicing. This banking location would have on site security in banking center location at all times. Open lobby area for seating waiting area. All interactions with Patelco credit union office customer service repressive or on phone, via online virtual sessions are primarily communicated in English only. I have been a Patelo credit union member for several years as account had been self managed. Established membership location is of a non smoking non drug usage area of space inside and all vehicles that is registered inn name per location. Mostly all scheduled appointments I had self traveled to using own personal transpiration and had not been accompanied of any other persons. This location does have onsite coffee for those in office. Location site has near by eateries and plenty of parking in local business plaza areas. Went in to finally get a new debit card and before I asked if I could still use it on my digital wallet, they said yes! However they failed to explain how to get my new card info even though I don't have the physical card on me. Fast forward to figuring out how to use my new card through my digital wallet while I wait for my physical card and my pin suddenly doesn't work and my transactions are yet again declining. Way to go Patelco for being incompetent yet again! It wouldn't be as big of an issue if my daughter wasn't sick with a fever and now I can't even get any groceries for her until I can get some answers tomorrow. A really nice representative named Jamese Black helped me figure out why I had a past due balance on my credit card. I knew I had already made my payment, so I was really confused. She was very kind and extremely helpful. She even printed out my statement and highlighted the areas that I was confused about and explained everything to me. Service is pleasant, but slooooowwwwwww. Expect to spend 30+ min if you ever need to see a banker inside. Sometimes more. Great service but this has to be the slowest moving branch of any bank I've ever been a part of. Meanwhile there's always another employee or two laughing diddling away at a back desk.. please work on timing here. Just witnessed a frustrated customer who loudly got their attention and asked them to open another window.. while she did hop up and open, why does a customer need to be frustrated after waiting an unreasonable amount of time for an employee to do their job?! I came here today for a transaction and like this location over the one near my house better. Its employees are very well attentive and ready to assist you. I walked in and a an employee named Rosa was quick to speed walk from her cubicle to assist me on the other end of the branch. Be sure to book an appointment, it wasn't too busy upon arrival, but after awhile it started to fill up! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a very friendly and welcoming receptionist. And despite having called earlier in the day to make an appointment and it not being written in, he remained patient and understanding and proceeded to assure us we would only have to wait 5-10 more minutes - which was true! Came in with two cases that needed to be taken care of and Muhammad T. was very easy-going and explained the process for me in what I had come in to do. He went above and beyond to provide the best service and made sure I had all my questions answered and had everything correct regarding my card (I came in with serveral questions and concerns - each time he showed patience and understanding!) Watch out for Sharmistha Ghosh! She is deliberately incredibly slow and does not want to work. If you end up having her as your teller, expect to spend at least 20 mins for anything no matter how small read more

Very horrible customer service experience. It feels like bank service to the customers by looking at there race giving preference to 1 customer over other. There so called asst manager is the worst person to talk too. Went there to open a checking account, 1st teller tells that on sat we only serve customer by appointment only and we do not serve customers walk in. I requested to schedule the appt, now teller 1 goes to teller 2 to figure out how to create appt. After chit chatting teller 2 tries to schedule an appt and tells me to go back to teller 1. Now asst manager jumps in and suddenly from the air tells me we do allow walks in on sat when I questioned no policy is mentioned on the website that walks in are not allowed on sat. She makes up that customers are waiting so no walks in on sat but there was only 2 persons in the queue and 0 customer waiting. She again changed her tone.
