Then he increased his estimate by more than double, and made it sound like he was giving me a deal when he shaved a couple hundred off. After a lot of back and forth, he ended up saying he was coming and then not showing up just about 5 days in a row after realizing I lived further away than he thought and making excuse after excuse . He'd say he was coming, and text me 10 minutes before he said he'd be at my house telling me it wasn't happening, like I hadn't rearranged my entire day expecting him. To top all of this off, today I had to file a dispute against him with my credit card, because he's as of yet refused to refund me the $750 deposit he made me give him. He pushed me repeatedly to pay him via venmo or cash and now I'm SO happy I didn't because you can't dispute those payment methods. In the end, I got a different company to do the work for $2000, a full grand less than Scott quoted and it was done cleanly, quickly, and without issue. I would be extremely wary of hiring this company, they do not have it together.

The son was very helpful, professional and, upon finding that replacing the socket didn't solve the issue with our outlet, he turned a two-pronged plug into a three-pronged one and voila, we could plug in and use our washer again. Yay! I have a couple of suggestions for Scott: One, please let your customers know up front that you have a two hour minimum, not just the hourly rate quoted. Also, it says on Yelp that you accept credit cards, and I was told only Zelle or Venmo would be accepted. And maybe an admin would be helpful to organize appointments, emails, etc.. He diagnosed the problem after a leak check, checked their history on the heat pump, called the office for more info, and I was told I needed refrigerant and a new compressor. The company called the manufacturer and because it wasn't that old the compressor was provided to me at no cost, and also a discount on the refrigerant. The new part arrived a few days later, Tim showed up timely and obviously knew what he was doing. He installed things, double checked my thermostat, answered my questions and provided a written description of his work. When I explained that the system was still not working and the person responsible for paying the bills was understandably upset, the woman who answered responded by saying, " That doesn't matter to me." I found this response dismissive and completely inappropriate, particularly given the amount of money we have spent with your company and the urgency of the heating issue. As a result of both the unresoved issues and this interaction, we will not be using Mill Creek again, nor recommending your services to others.

Charging same rates for apprentices. Overcharging for materials. Almost every invoice I had to question and they barely adjusted the amounts in fact they increased some. They wasted over 6 months of my time trying to move a big project along with Pacific Power. Finally I switched back to my old Electricians. They quoted us $3000 unit replacement with the rebate. Price would have been $4000. Same furnace as the first company. So was the other company going to apply for the rebate & not tell us? No way to know for sure. James came out on time & got the job done. The two technicians were very knowledgeable & seemed to work with a purpose which you don't see these days.
