It's worth your money, Gigi very kind hearted, professional, knowledgeable and can multitask. I'm very impressed the Chase Suite Hotels spacious, clean, with the kitchen and bigger than other hotels. So convenient to the freeway and walking distance to the Mall ( OMG ) everything is here; This is my favorite place my happy place and Gigi is nice and the staff they even have laundry room!!! Again, must try and see it yourself ask for Gigi -:)

I absolutely fell in love with this place!! It's literally like apartments which blew my mind!! This place had everything you need to stove, fridge, to a living room! This is by far my favorite place to stay at! It's literally a perfect get away! Definitely my go-to getaway place if you ask me!

    The thermostat for our room!

We had a reservation for two nights. Our first night. We FROZE all night , they said they'd give us an upgrade, a VIP room. However it's the SAME room, just different building. So there was no comp for our horrible night, cold shower and loud room by the loud street. Then there was only two towels in the room. The front desk said we'd need to bring the dirty towels down to get new ones! I am not happy and will not come back. Who does that?

Disappointing. This has been my family's "go to" hotel for years since the days they were called Woodfin Suites. But as Chase, they have gone downhill somewhat. Here's my review of our very recent stay in a two-bedroom suite. Pros: Living room comfortable, fireplace screen and grate might need replacing, kitchen clean, two trash cans instead of one was nice. Cons: TV service SUCKS!! There's a delay, guide is useless, kept getting error message about signal, TV remote in my bedroom had the battery compartment taped over, kitchen cabinets had obvious moisture damage seemingly from the coffee maker steam, cheap silverware. My final complaint is that when we checked out around 9am, I went to get a cup of coffee. There was none! The dispenser was empty.

I'm posting the letter I sent to Chase Suite and Hotels. It's just too much to rewrite. To add the manager JD handles the issues and called a pest control/fumigation company and confirmed the presence of these insects. Room was quarantined per staff. Staff is courtesy and attentive. To add our second room was a bit better. We did find vape pipes and was really worn out. Owners need to take more responsibility. We plan on a short vacation and are willing to spend our hard earned money. Very unfortunate. They did offer refund and half off the rest of our stay. Nice gesture but still very unpleasant and will never never stay there again. Subject: Urgent Follow-Up Regarding Room Conditions at Chase Hotel Suites, Newark, California Dear Chase Hotel Suites Management, I hope this letter reaches you with a sense of urgency and understanding of the situation we encountered during our recent stay at your establishment. My purpose in writing this letter is to bring to your attention the events that transpired on 11/17/2023 and to emphasize the need for immediate action. Upon our late-night arrival at approximately 1:30 AM, my family and I were allocated room 803 in building number eight. Regrettably, the condition of the room was deplorable, with a significant infestation of roaches and bedbugs. I must commend the night manager for her kindness in offering an alternative room, expressing that, had she been on duty during the room assignment, she would not have assigned the room in question. After reluctantly repacking our belongings, we inspected the alternative room suggested by the night manager. While it was marginally better than the initial room--featuring fewer stains, no visible cockroaches, and a cleaner mattress with no immediate signs of bed bugs--it remains disheartening that such conditions were present in a room supposedly reserved for corporate employees. We ultimately decided, by around 2:30 AM, to accept this alternative room for a few hours. We refrained from fully unpacking and opted to shower quickly. Despite the night manager's efforts to assist us and her assertion that such complaints were unprecedented, the overall experience has left us deeply dissatisfied. It is with a sense of urgency that I implore you to investigate the conditions of the rooms in question thoroughly. The state of these accommodations falls far below the standards one would expect from a reputable establishment like Chase Hotel Suites. Additionally, it is disconcerting to learn that the room offered to us is typically reserved for corporate employees, suggesting a discrepancy in the quality of accommodations provided to various guests. Moreover, while the night manager attempted to address the situation with goodwill, it is concerning that basic amenities such as housekeeping were not readily available. Housekeeping should be a standard service, not a perk, especially when addressing issues as severe as those we encountered. I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I appreciate your prompt attention to this issue and look forward to hearing about the corrective measures taken to prevent such incidents in the future.

    Dirty bathtub

This is the dirtiest hotel room I have ever been to everything is broken and dirty!! I don't even think they use proper detergent to clean their towels. They smelled horrible.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND STAYCATION…read more I'm enrolled in different rewards programs such as airlines and casinos. One of the programs I'm enrolled in is Asia Miles. I hadn't earned miles through my Asia Miles account for close to 18 months. If I had not earned miles by May 30 all the miles I earned through Asia Miles will reset to zero. One of their partners is Courtyard by Marriott. I reserved a room for two nights during Memorial Weekend. The reason I booked Courtyard Newark Silicon Valley was due to the swimming pool as I needed something to do on my staycation. I came here Saturday afternoon. The guest room is spacious enough. The bed was really comfy. The staff was really nice. The lobby was clean and organized. I even like the Keurig coffee machine inside the room that had some coffee pods. There's a cafe opened in the morning when you can buy coffee and hot food. Despite all the positive attributes of this Marriott I gave the rating I did because I came for a staycation. After I checked-in on a Saturday afternoon I tried to swim in the swimming pool. Noticed I said "tried", but the swimming pool was cold. I ended going to the whirlpool. The next day on a Sunday I came back to the swimming in the afternoon. I noticed the debris from trees in the pool. There are a lot of trees around the pool. With the abundance of trees this pool needs to be cleaned constantly. During my stay there not only was the pool cold but also dirty. If I had to stay at another Courtyard by Marriott it wouldn't be here.

Breakfast in the morning was great, really impressed with Nina, the staff member who kept the dining area sparkling clean, food replenished, and helped give out breakfast meals to guests who were waiting for her to finish replenishing the empty bowls. She was very hard working and worked nonstop the whole time I was there. From wiping down tables, managing food, talking to guests, and everything else- she impressed me.

Everything is falling apart. Across two separate stays, in two different rooms (a 2‑bedroom and a 1‑bedroom), we had the same trash‑level issues: broken light fixtures hanging down in fridge, nasty old pull‑out sofas, uncomfortable beds, ripped curtains and a sour smell that hits you the second you walk in. Both stays, our keys demagnetized nonstop, which was just the cherry on top of the chaos. Breakfast? A joke. Overcooked eggs and i think it was meat every day, waffles only on weekends, no juice machine, and the whole area is swarmed by people (whole familes) who clearly aren't even staying at the hotel that were rough and loud characters. And let me be blunt: as a woman, I would never stay here alone. This place feels neglected, unsafe, and completely mismanaged. It needs a full renovation and a leadership overhaul.

The room was not properly cleaned. A dirty fork was left behind, which clearly should have been noticed during inspection. The clock in the room is also missing its 9V battery. Every time the key card is removed and the room loses power, the clock resets completely. This may seem minor, but for travelers it becomes an unnecessary inconvenience. To me, this reflects a management issue more than a housekeeping issue. If leadership conducted routine quality inspections on even a handful of rooms daily, problems like this would be identified immediately. Small cost-cutting decisions -- such as not replacing a simple battery -- negatively impact the guest experience. Additionally, the shower water pressure is extremely weak, making it difficult to properly shower after traveling. To make matters worse, guests are also charged for parking in Newark, which feels more like a revenue grab than a guest-focused policy. Overall, this property does not deliver value for the price being charged, and I will not stay at this location again in the future.

I wasn't sure we would stay for…read more2 nights at first, so I booked a Saturday night first and then a few days later added a Friday night when there were no more queen 2-beds room left. The first night, we got a room on the 3rd floor with a King bed and sofa bed as that was all that's left and when we got there, it turned out to be an accessible room which would not have been a problem except that the shower was wide open (understandably for wheelchair access) with just a curtain, so water got all over the floor of the whole bathroom. The toilet was also very small, and the sofa bed was not comfortable, so we decided not to stay in the same room (that was an option) for the second night. We were able to leave our luggage at the front desk who stored them for us while we went out for the day the next morning. When we got back we were given a different room still on the 3rd floor, with 2 queens and a walk-in shower with sliding glass doors so that was a much better experience. We slept better and the room felt cozier. The hotel was pretty quiet the whole time we were there, except for during breakfast time, there really were a TON of people on Saturday morning, as expected since the hotel was fully booked Friday night according to the front desk staff. Gym was smaller but had several treadmills, 1 elliptical machine, and 2 pelaton bikes that required subscription so that was pointless. There were some weights and a yoga ball and a rowing machine too. Pretty decent fitness center. Indoor pool was quite dirty the one evening we swam there. I had my kids rinse right away afterwards. That was disappointing. No hot tub that I could recall. The included breakfast was good both mornings, and most items were served in Le Creuset Dutch ovens to keep warm. There were scrambled eggs, sausages, tortillas and bacon bits, pancakes, and breakfast potatoes. There were also cut fresh fruits and yogurt, with the more typical items such as cereal, breads, milk, tea, coffee, and oatmeal w/fixings (granola, dried cranberries, almond flakes, coconut flakes (more special item not usually seen), and brown sugar). However, staff had a hard time keeping up with demand on Saturday morning, but they were still trying hard to refill everything as quickly as possible, so that was commendable, but you could tell they were pretty stressed out. Sunday morning was much more pleasant as there were significantly fewer guests. However, they didn't have scrambled eggs and the blueberry compote was the same dish as yesterday w/no blueberries left in it at all, so it was basically a bowl of blueberry juice. Instead of sausages, it was Canadian bacon (round slices of ham), and strips of delicious French toast instead of pancakes. The other items: Steel Cut Oatmeal, fresh fruit, granola, and yogurt were also available. One bad point though is there are no microwaves and also the fridge is just a tiny fridge with NO freezer in it, so our frozen treats melted overnight and were barely cold when we had to check out. Also the tiles in our first room's shower were not clean, both wall and floors needed more deep cleaning. But second room was a lot cleaner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the front desk staff was polite both days and they were even able to store some frozen treats we had bought the first day that needed to be frozen while we switched rooms. There's a Costco close by as well as a mall (kind of a smaller basic one) with a movie theatre.

Service: Not applicable for breakfast as it's self service buffet style. 0/5 for housekeeping. They only folded/tucked back the bedding and replaced the towels. No vacuuming or mopping the bathroom floors. Not sure why housekeeping took so long for each room as I saw towels tossed outside of each room but there's no additional cleaning provided ?!?! To re-emphasize, the toilet/sink/shower areas were still left uncleaned. 0/5 for front desk male/they reception. Requested and wanted to confirm twice starting at 11am for housekeeping for the room and then again at 3:30pm. I checked in between twice and still no housekeeping. He/they must have forgot, but it wasn't very busy and I reminded twice?!?! Honestly, upset that it appeared housekeeping was just avoiding our room as they went to the other rooms throughout the day... and so super happy I was able to have Serina help me here. The general manager Luiz was very nice and helpful. In the afternoon offering water to the hotel stay guests in the lobby and checking in on how things are with each person. A lot of the ice machines were out and not working and also I hope they get the refrigerator in the café area checked.
