Today I bought it again and I asked them to please not give me chunks of fat. When I arrived home to serve it in a bowl, that's exactly what I received, tiny little pieces of meat and the majority were big chunks of fat. When I called the bakery, their excuse was well that's all that's left. Then they shouldn't have sold it to me. They should've told me that the Menudo that they had did not have a lot of meat left and not sold it, but to them profit comes first instead of the customer. This is terrible service!

I grew up on the east side and my tastebuds are very familiar with the pastries of this kind along with the tamales and things. I love the set up. Upon walking in there are trays and tongs that you pick up so nothing is touched with your bare hands as you shop. Conchas (Mexican Pan Dulce) is what I was after but once I started shopping, I ran into other breads and rolls I was very familiar with. I was totally impressed by the avocados near the register. They were nice and huge. Also they sold corn tamales and the cashier who was impressively friendly and efficiently professional let me know that they will soon sell Salvadorian tamales.
