I been waiting for my mozzarella bites for 15 minutes. The worker decided to make other orders who were behind me and ignored me. Asked me if I was waiting for bowls and I said no still waiting for mozzarella bites and they still haven't gotten to start making. They made only 6 when I ordered 12. I asked for a refund and the cashier said he doesn't know how to do a refund and will call manager. I been here now more than 20 minutes. On 4/30/25 at 6:28 pm, I enter the store and notice the music was very loud. There was a short Latina girl at the register and she didn't even acknowledge me. I walk up and waited for her to finished a drink she was making. I ask her I wanted a gift card and she was having trouble with the POS register. This black girl (Alicia P.)came to help her and took over the register and the Latina girl continued to make the drinks. I told her I wanted a $20 gift card. And she said ok. She rang me up and complete my purchase. When she handed my receipt I notice she charge me $40. I told her I didn't ask for this and would like you to correct this. She said "oh my sorry I thought you said 40?" And I said no I said $20. (If the music wasn't that loud I wouldn't be having this problem.) I told her to undo the whole transaction and give me the correct amount. At the point she was punching alot of buttons fast and told me to grab a different card and she can split the transaction. I told her whatever works best for you. But I knew something didn't feel right. She kept my original receipt of $40 and gave me my new one. And she told me that I should receive a $20 credit in my bank account within 3 business days. I left and days passed and I never received my money back in my checking account. I follow up on the 5th day and walk-in again and spoke with Francine. I told her what happen and she ask for my original receipt of $40 dollars and I told no she took my receipt. I left her my information to tell the manager and to follow up with me. Days passed and no contact. I would never come here again and the customer of the two girls is not professional. This is the worst Jamba Juice I have been to in my entire life. I initially wanted Robuck's , but you know they don't have locations in the hood. Anyhoo, I thought Jamba will do. I am 8mos preggers and I am attending USC. I wanted something healthy to start my day. I walk in a young, dark haired lady greets me and rakes my order.I order the Acai Primo bowl and she asks if coconut flakes are ok. Obviously, she was unaware of the menu because that bowl does not come with coconut flakes. I politely informed her and she continued and made the bowl. She made the bowl quickly to my surprise. I was happy because now I could head off to my 10am class. I could not wait to stick my spoon into the layers of fresh fruit, granola, and smoothie. Unfortunately, with my first bite I aas greeted with an ice cold blueberry and a strawberry so frozen I had to suck on it like a peppermint to melt it. I thought it was maybe that first bite. Two bites later...same thing. The bananas were the only fresh fruit. I made the recision to turn around because this bowl was $10.99 plus tax(ridiculous). when I came back I went to the pick up window side and I was met by a rude fair skinned woman with red braids and tatoos. Huge plaza with a lot going on and not all good things, hence the 4 stars. But other than location this Jamba Juice was above average. Went in the afternoon and there was no line and it was pretty quite minus the music on the speakers. I chose the almond butter bowl and it was delicious. My first time having it so I'm not sure if the base is supposed to be thin like it was but i prefer my bases to be thicker similar to Greek yogurt. I guess if you consider half an hour after the committed time that my smoothies would be ready as close enough then I guess that the service delivered against that goal. I say that's fine, I'll add the toppings myself at home and then they say their system is offline so they can't take my card transaction. I loathe coming to this location but it's the closest one to my home so I come here out of convenience. Today makes the second time where I've waited 10+ minutes for a mobile order when I arrive we'll after the "order ready by" time. Today I waited 15 minutes because apparently my order was given to someone else... no biggie, but communicate that or at least apologize for the inconvenience. I had to overhear their conversation as I'm sitting there expecting my order. I shouldn't place an order at 12:05 and leaving the store at 12:35pm. I'd be less irritated if they had the decency to apologize for that. It takes them 10 years to acknowledge you while you wait at the window to pick up mobile orders. I completely understand being busy and handling orders which is why I don't intrude and interrupt but apparently that's what I need to do to not be left standing there 5 minutes before being acknowledged. I wish they would do better. It makes the drive across town to the Ladera Center not seem half bad. At least my order is ready when I get there and they acknowledge you when you come to the pick up window. Yes, after five check-ins, i have decided to lower my rating for this location. My patience has been worn thin. It started with check in number 4 but decided to give it another try seeing that my mom likes to order online from this location and have me pick it up. There is no order nor structure at this location. There is also too many VIP employees working there. I'll explain. You order and you stand to the side and wait. Part of your wait is orders being prepared for those who may have ordered online. Totally understandable, but it's not when someone random come into the store, walk behind the counter (NO MASK BY THE WAY!!) and blends something up and leave with it. But you're suppose to feel safe, while these employees are fixing your food? If it isn't that scenario, then you have an employee come from behind the counter, walk up to one of the customers who appears to waiting in line to order and ask what they want. Go back behind the counter, blend it up, give it to the customer and they both walk out. Mind you, you're still waiting on YOUR order. During visit number 4 i asked for my moms order and it was watery as if it wasn't put into the freezer until pick up. Also there were a group females walking in, wearing street clothes and walked behind the counter then walked back outside. The females employees have no customer service skills. The location on Century and Crenshaw has always been pleasing to me. I would only visit this one out of convenience. I rather suffer an inconvenience than to come here. I've been to this particular location numerous times. The smoothies are always made to perfection but I service is pretty sub-par. I've been in the mornings, weekends and evenings and almost every single time I've had to wait an excessive amount of time for my drink. The servers were always polite and helpful. I could never complain about their attitudes or dispositions. It was just the untimely manner of smoothie process that drove me crazy., I am overly excited that we finally got a Jamba Juice East of La Brea and hopefully other businesses will soon follow. I hope that upper management reads these comments and something is done concerning the slow smoothie making process. Nothing can kill a business faster than poor reviews and awful service.
